I came across information that Firefox has turned off the development for Windows 64-bit. Since that's my system I'd like to know what does this imply. Should we uninstall Firefox? Is there anyway we could still be using it? I'm not a computer savvy at all, so I really don't know what to expect nor where to find information that's accurate about it. I really like Firefox and don't want to switch browsers, but I wouldn't like to get the nasty surprise that one day I can no longer open the browser and lose all my information without a warning. I save lots of important information, should I transfer this to another browser Asap?

Its so irritating when I'm trying to download a mess of files to be uploaded to a new website. I'm using Aurora 19.0a2

I've already looked in Tools > Add-ons.

I have old keys in my XP Windows Registry going back for eons. Leave them alone? Should any upgrade have deleted old ones? They appear in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Management\ARP Cache.

How can I set print margins in Firefox 17 on Linux? There are no margin setings in Page Setup, or in the print dialog. In about:config, there are sets of settings called e.g. printer_Print_to_File.print_margin_top etc. as well as print.printer_Print_to_File.print_margin_top etc., but when I try to set these it seems they reset to 0.5 when I print something, and the printed margins are always the same. In previous versions of Firefox I have managed to set the margins using about:config, but that changed in a recent version.

As stated, I can get all the way to being able to join a channel, but I don't any 'chatting' going on. I can see the user list, I can see the MOTD, I can do a listing, but no incoming traffic from the channel. I installed mIRC just to see, but same thing. I am thinking that there is some generic setting common to both clients that I am missing somehow, but I really don't know.

Is this a common error that I might be making? Is it a connectivity issue, or similar?

There is not a lot of info regarding this specific problem that I can find.

My border and bookmark toolbar was a nice dark orange color. It changed to a baby blue and I want to change it back to orange.

I didn't do anything it changed by itself.

Ever since the latest update, when I hit 'file' and try to 'add tab' it does not work. I have to open another window. I am not a techie, but familiar with IT to some extent. Is the the problem you have been talking about regarding the add-on :tab mix plus'? Please help. thanks.

When I use googleig Mozilla claims the webpage is redirecting in circles. I had to reinstall Mozilla from scratch due to add-ons constantly causing problems. Since then Mozilla has not worked. This redirecting problem is rampant throughout each session on many webpages.

I called in for help because Firefox would not display my websites correctly. I called the telephone number on the Firefox website and got Vgeek support. They remotely scanned my computer and said my computer was at risk - claiming I had a trojan that my antivirus did not find and that my computer was about to crash because internal system elements were closing down. They talked me into a $400 three year protection and support package - which some local computer repair personnel say may have not been necessary. The vgeek support say they work for Firefox. Is that correct or have I been scammed??? Please advise.

I let the kid play with the computer. Now when I click a tab it shows (*) rather than commute to the tab, the mouse wheel zooms rather than scroll, and all the links open a new window. How can I reset the settings, at least to the default ones? Thanks.

I previously synced my laptop Firefox with my mobile. My mobile Firefox now has all of my laptop bookmarks. My laptop crashed. I bought a new laptop. I want to transfer my bookmarks from my mobile to my new laptop. How?

1- Sync doesn't work because I can't get the recovery key (previous laptop is garbage and the key can not be obtained from the mobile). I could create a new one, but it states that current data will be erased, thus, what is the point of recovery, it is the same as creating a new account. Therefore, I lose my bookmarks by syncing without the old recovery key. 2- There seems to be no other way to export Firefox mobile bookmarks.

I am using Mozilla Firefox 18.0. on a Windows 7 computer. The Mozilla page is really inefficiently set up. I have a screen shot but there doesn't seem to be any way to post it in this forum. I recently installed MS Office and of course Outlook was installed too. Previously, I've been able to send a link from Firefox by clicking on the option under File and Windows Mail (my preference) would load with the link embedded in the email I was to send. Now it insists that Office Outlook loads. How do I re-set it back to Windows Mail? Thank you.
