I can sign into YouTube ok, and the pictures of the video's are ok, but whatever I try to watch I get a green screen and just the video sound? It started happening yesterday. I am getting fed up with YouTube and the issues it has with Firefox. I'm having to use Microsoft Edge to watch videos. I've done the 3 resets it says on the support page, but still have the issue. Many thanks for getting back to me.

So for the last little while, Facebook has been making a complete nuisance of itself on firefox. This isn't a browser problem, because the other tabs I have open work perfectly fine, but FB takes forever to load, and any button I press to interact with it, (like the reload button,) also lags, (but, again, works fine on other tabs,). It doesn't even register links as being clickable for a good minute after loading. The page also seems to reset every time I switch from another tab to it, showing a blank page with a loading symbol. I have tried deleting the entire history, and restarting the browser, and deactivating the adblocker, (the only extension active) and nothing seems to help. Does anybody know why it's doing this, (other than because the company follows the 'if it isn't broke, break it' theory, which we all already knew,) and how to fix it?

hello! i've been having an issue with mozilla where webp images are not loading at all. this is especially prevalent on youtube, where thumbnails simply do not load, as well as on tumblr, where if an image or gif is a webp file, it will refuse to load. both are attached in the image below to see the difference between firefox and chrome, as the images load fine on chrome. as well as that, discord, when opened with browser instead of the app, does not load profile pictures, server icons, or custom emojis. google hadn't helped me at all, and i don't know what to do at this point. i don't want to go back to using chrome.

in the attached image, the top images show a set of shark sculptures. the first does not load on mozilla, and looking at the image file, it is a webp. the second image is revealed to be a jpg, which mozilla treats normally. in the second set of images, there's a quick look at a random youtuber's page, the top being mozilla and the bottom being chrome, and you can see the mozilla thumbnails do not load.

thank you for reading! i'm very confused and am unsure what to do. any help is appreciated!

Intermittently (maybe 1/20 times?), when I try to do a Google search from the URL bar I'll get a tab that doesn't load for about 30 seconds. If I search for the exact same thing in another tab it will load instantly, and if I select the url and press enter it will also load instantly. I am seeing this issue both when entering a search and when selecting text and clicking "Search Google for X".

I found a recommendation on a similar issue to set security.tls.enable_0rtt_data = false in about:config but I have seen no change with that setting.

This problem started with an update a couple months ago. Each bar is about 4 pixels wide and appears only on the right, left, and bottom edges of the browser window. They persist when the window is full size or smaller, but disappear on f11. The bars are completely unresponsive. Clicking or resizing the window doesn't seem to work inside of them. Even though the top of the window has no visible bar, there is still an unresponsive region like the other three sides and approximately 4 pixels of empty space.

When it comes to color, the bars spend about 50 percent of the time as white and 50 percent as the same gray that Firefox's dark mode uses. I wasn't able to get a screenshot when the bars were gray, but I was able to screenshot the top right and left corners when the bars were white, which I have attached.

It appears as if there are buttons of some sort poking out on the top right and left corners. If I had to guess, the top right icon looks like the "x" button on a Windows 7 window, and the top left icon looks like the red dot in the uppermost corner of a macOS window. My machine has only ever run Windows 10, and Firefox is the only application that this problem occurs in.

Restarting, using troubleshooting mode, manually removing extensions and themes, messing around with compatibility settings, running as administrator, refreshing Firefox, and reinstalling Firefox have all been unsuccessful. It really is annoying to live with this bug.

Hello! I am in a work environment and I am trying to determine if there is something in our security systems that is preventing Firefox from running properly. Once Firefox is installed, it works the rest of the day with no issue but almost daily the morning after, it will start to open then instantly crash. When I check the crash logs, it shows in most of them: Modules - Filename: umppc14210.dll Version: 6.28.14210.0 Debug Identifier: B9143DE260194C88AB48EFD6782C9EAF1 Debug File Name: umppc.pdb Signed By: Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatibility Publisher

When using the dark theme from Firefox, Google searching seems to break completely as well as some pages will not load which may be related to this.

I have already tried uninstalling Firefox, deleting all of the folders, then reinstalling with a freshly downloaded installer (Even tried the beta one) with same results. It seems potentially MAYBE related to how long ago I closed Firefox before I shut down (Like Firefox is trying to save something to a secure location and times out, then it will work but if it hasn't timed out, then it crashes... or this is my guess)

The Signature seems to change randomly for the crash between crashes. I really am tired of constantly reinstalling Firefox but I do not want to use Chrome or Edge unless websites require it.

On certain pages, the rendering is completely off. For example, on Vimeo.com, all the text is gone (see attached pics). I tried Refresh Firefox, but the problem persists. I tried Troubleshoot Mode and that fixes the problem. But when I restart and disable all of my extensions, the problem continues.

This only happens on my work computer Firefox. The Firefox versions at home on multiple computers work just fine.

Any thoughts?

Hi, I developed a simple Add-on, based on jQuery. Unfortzunately, it seems "ajaxStop()" does consistently not work as expected (at all). Any tips on what to consider to get ajaxStop to succesfully trigger my registered eventhandlers? Thanks

PS off topic: the "developer" area of Mozilla is quite painful to handle and reach. I'm always pushed/forwarded back over here. Also the sophisticated 2way-auth seems a bit overkill for posting on a forum .

For the past couple of weeks I am not able to log in to AA.com. When I fill in the require fields ( AAdvantage # or username, Last name, Password), it redirects to https://www.aa.com/sorry.html. I have no problem logging in on one of the other major web browsers. Ad blocker is turned off, cache has been cleared, all the tricks that usually solve such problems. So, I'm beginning to think that something in a recent Firefox update doesn't play nice with AA.com. I'm using Firefox Ver 91.0.2.

Any suggestions?

True or False? If this box is checked I can quit Firefox altogether which tabs still open, and those same tabs will automatically load again upon reopening Firefox.

(Upon writing back, please refrain from thanking me for anything.)

OS is Win7-x64, graphics Intel HD Graphics on Haswell pentium G3220 with latest available driver.

Since version 89.0 or 90.0 (not sure which) following webpage rendering issues appeared on my machine: - page loads ok, but when I scroll up/down with pageup/pagedown keys then some keystrokes are not followed by redraw, or redraw is partially blank (horizontally split - see attached screenshot). Subsequent keystrokes either have the same problem or are rendered correctly. - scrolling is only problematic with pageup/pagedown keys. Alternative methods (up/down keys, mousewheel, holding and dragging scrollbar or clicking above or beneath it) work ok. - I'm sure that version 89.0 or 88.0 didn't have this problem. Since then I haven't changed any about:config settings or updated graphics driver. Compositing was then and now set at WebRender (not WebRender (Software)). - I tried disabling hardware acceleration on version 92.0, but it hasn't solved issue, so I reverted this back.

Troubleshooting info is attached.

Thanks in advance for your help.

i have not customized the setup. this is a "stock" configuration. i have lots up upload, download speed. 20Mbps up, 80Mbps down.
