The themes I use normally have white backgrounds and black text. Following an update, the default colour scheme changed from a white background to a black background for web pages without the theme being changed. Google, YouTube, and Firefox pages are all using black backgrounds. I ensured that the Dark theme was disabled, selected the Light theme, then switched back to the theme I had been using; the black background returned when I switched back to the theme I wanted to use. I tried changing the colour settings under "Language and Appearance: Fonts and Colours: Colours..." to white text and black background and back to black text and white background, but no change was noticed at any point.

How do I change the page background back to white?

I use Kaltura to record lectures and post them to my course at the U of Utah on Canvas. This semester, Firefox will not allow me to open "my media" where the Kaltura recordings are posted on Canvas. I get the following message: It seems your browser is blocking 3rd party session cookies which are required for the Kaltura application. To resolve this issue, please update your settings to allow 3rd party cookies.

I copied the Kaltura web address 670542.kaf.kaltura.com that I can see in Chrome and pasted it into a Chrome browser and it goes to my recordings in Canvas when I use Chrome. The same site doesn't work in Firefox. How do I unblock Kaltura third party sessions? Thank you.

Update to version 96 64-bit just completed. Many websites now experiencing Secure Connection Failed PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR. Did Help -> More Troubleshooting Information -> Refresh Firefox to go back to all defaults. Open Firefox again, add Menu Bar. Open what used to be home screen tabs, ok at first, but within minutes start experiencing Secure Connection Failed in several websites. Seems to come and go, sometimes a Reload current page restores normal website, sometimes not. Close Firefox, open again, restore previous session tabs, only a matter to time before one or more start getting Secure Connection Failed errors. No extensions, no themes. Browser is now so unreliable as to be unusable. Please assist.

A website I use to move money - getting message telling me cookies is blocking 3rd party cookies. and I need to enable 3rd party cookies. I go to settings in firefox and for the information to set settings to enable cookies 3rd party they do not work. They tell me to check and uncheck boxes that I do not even have for setttings. I never had this problem before until Jan. of 2022. I have to use a different browser to get to the website and complete my task. There is something in the Firefox browser or they made changes/updates. Need step by step instructions. NEED TO TALK TO SOMEONE.

C Cleaner lists several Firefox plugins that I haven't added. I can disable them (not delete), but they get turned back on again. They are for ggl, bing, amazon, ebay, etc, and I want to know how to permanently disable them.

i cannot access my email called armstrongonewire and they told me that the problem is with the update that downloaded on 2/11/22 for the firefox update 96.0. will this problem be resolved and when? 'bold text

Firefox updated to 96.0 but I can't load Facebook, gmail or Bing. I keep getting this: Secure Connection Failed

I was upgraded to the new FireFox browser on 1/11/22, and it doesn't allow Yahoo! Mail to be accessed by the Google search. I read some of the help suggestions, but I'm not sure how to fix this. The error that appears is: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

   Please, what do you recommend?

Hey, I my FF just updated to the latest version and all was going fine and dandy for a little while. I've noticed FF hogging a bit more resources lately but that might be unrelated / more to do with changes to twitch or the like but I feel I should mention it.

After about 20-30 minutes of browsing, checking my emails etc the browser responded as if it lost connection. I did the general troubleshoot run on my network which came back with no issues found, no other program on my computer had any problems with internet connectivity. But just to be sure I checked all the wires and restarted the modem.

Now FF starts loading webpages but then get stuck partway and just stands grinding its gears. I'm currently using chrome to try and find a solution / write this and it works without problem.

I currently have all 3(!) of my extensions disabled and it has changed nothing. I do notice that in the general settings tab in FF it does seem to be "Checking for updates" continuously.

This is extremely annoying, please help me fix this asap!

when there is an option to export a .csv file. for password... then why have you complicated the option to import that same csv file.

I have used Firefox for 18 years... now i think its time to find something else.

Even it could, it only for few minutes and the problems keeps appears. And oddly, If you ignore it for several minutes or an hour, Firefox suddenly can open websites again. This problems keep appears in my 2 laptop. I already try anything including reinstall firefox, and it's just temporal solutions. Can you check what actually happened? Cause this problems not only me but also the other users. I already ask my colleague and my friend, they have same problems, and the solution you give isn't working at all. Thank you.

Yesterday, before I received the update, my Wowway.net email was working as it should. After the update it would not let me log in. All I get on the email login page is Please Wait While We Are Logging You In. This happened on 2 laptops and a desktop. My Wowway.net email is working properly on Chrome on all 3 computers.

My Firefox did an automatic upgrade and managed to lose all my bookmarks. I have these on my mobile app version but is there a way of getting them from that back onto my browser?

Firefox will not play Netflix, Hulu or Disney. Edge does. You recently updated my Firefox to 96.0 64 bit. Netflix gives this error

Hi, I'm making a theme for Indiana State University. The logo that is uploaded is place to the far right (default setting) of the page. How do I center the logo? The three themes I have developed are list under Buff. Each has the logo far right is covered by the symbols in the that corner of the page. Thanks.

I cannot get Dark mode to disable, I've tried everything, even going into about:config and adding ui.systemUsesDarkTheme and setting it to zero, yet my pages are still using dark by default. It's extremely irritating.

This morning there was an Ubuntu software update and afterwards Firefox wouldn't work, it just opened and hung without ever connecting to a website. So I uninstalled, purged and reinstalled from Ubuntu Software and everything seemed ok. However, whenever I now try to save something, for instance images, the save to directory will default to /run/user/1000/docs even though I have my downloads folder selected in settings. I can change to the directory I want to save to and it will save there, but when I next save something it will again want to go to the /run/user/1000/docs folder. Further, I find that a copy of anything I save has also been saved into that folder, creating a new sub-directory to do so. I tried clear data in settings but that didn't delete those files and they are protected in file manager so I can't delete them myself. This will fill my hard drive pretty quickly as well as being really annoying having to change the save directory every time. What can I do to rectify this? I've now got version 96.0 (64 bit) installed.
