after an internet session I'm using the "Clear Recent History" (STRG+SHIFT+Delete) function. Sometimes this window doesn't close automatically, when I'm click the OK-Button.

Is this a BUG?

This is really getting annoying. Again the 4k and 8k videos on Youtube are stutturing, saw some some improvement with Firefox 87 at least on the 4k videos. For example this video in 8k does not work at all, audio works fine and it stutters totally showing a single different frame every 10 secs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5LxsViMm25o&t=54s&ab_channel=AroundTheWorld4K . My pc is running Win 10 64-bit, 8gb of ram and all with all drivers\os up to date. As usual no issue with Google Chrome while reproducing the above video in 8k.

CPU Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2400S CPU @ 2.50GHz 4 Cores GPU - AMD Radeon R7 200 Series with 2gb.

Pls fix.

3-26-21: I just upgraded to the latest version of Firefox and NONE of my bookmarks are available. I've tried all the tips I've found and nothing works. I tried to Restore Bookmarks and get the error: Unable to process the backup file. This is a terrible version of Firefox. I need my Bookmarks. Where did they go?? How do I get them back? I am not a computer expert. I am a user of your product. I should not have to jump through hoops just to get my browser set up the way I had it before. Right now it is a big mess. I've used Firefox for years when other browsers are available. I will dump Firefox if I have to but I would prefer to solve this problem.

Hello, please forgive my language since it's not my native one, I hope it will be understandible...

Since the last firefox update, I've got an issue with my tabs. I use a lot of them (3000+) and it wasn't a problem until now : when I started my computer, firefox launched all the tabs of my previous session, but they loaded only when I selected one of them. I could still launch other program, play games etc

Now when I launch my computer, my memory is sucked dry by firefox (50% to 80%), firefox take a massive amount of time to launch and load my previous session (5 secondes before update, 5-10 minutes now) and I can't use it without some serious lags. If I try to open new tabs it's getting worst and worst. I've try to restart it, repair it etc, but when I try to reload my tabs with a backup, the same issue happen again...

Does someone has an idea to fix this ? Or what the problem can be ?

About 3-4 weeks ago I suddenly started being unable to login to my accounts as follows:

    open www.chase.com
    click on "Sign in" button
    Firefox goes to https://secure03b.chase.com/web/auth/dashboard#/dashboard/overviewAccounts/overview/index
    page never loads

This page loads properly when using Safari Version 14.0.3

Running Firefox 87.0 (64-bit) under macOS Big Sur Version 11.2.3

What can I do to get the site to work properly in Firefox?

My Mozilla occasionally crashes on various websites but this is rarely a big deal and is usually restored without further problem. However, when trying to access my online banking (Co-operative and Smile) it crashes repeatedly after a few seconds, making these sites unusable. Anyone got any ideas why this specific site is a problem and how to overcome it?

My cookie cache is erased every time firefox closes and I only have Ecosia as an Add on. My security setting was strict but I changed it to standard. This had no effect. I'm not very familiar with Linux so a simple explanation would be appreciated!

P.S; The crash reports fail to submit. I don't know if this is related.

Our website, www.twindata.com , uses forms hosted by MyContactForm ( www.mycontactform.com ) and have been doing so since 2016.

While doing an update to a form today, I received a message from MyContactForm stating this form is not at the location(s) it was listed as being at when the form was created. The message is attached.

I tried another UNCHANGED form that's been working for years and the same/similar error results. I downgraded to Firefox v86 and it worked fine, as well did the updated form I was working with.

The form is near the bottom of the page at this URL: http://www.twindata.com/cli/AG6601.htm

Any help will be greatly appreciated. We depend on these forms for our business.

Problems with something simply not working the way it has for years has happened with previous Firefox version upgrades.

Hopefully I'll see some answers and suggestions. Thanks in advance.

So recently I had some windows issues on my newer laptop and had to resort to going back to my old laptop for the time being. Before using it I restored the system to factory settings and such then reinstalled the newest versions of firefox and such then imported my profiles that I backed up from the new system.

Was working fine for few weeks but the last week or so I have noticed firefox has become sluggish in how it loads websites and such.

I have tried setting up a test profile and that new profile was reacting the same way very sluggish in loading pages.

I have also cleared my browsers cache wondering if that would help.

I have also tested loading pages in Microsoft Edge to see if it was browser or system related and Edge seems to be loading pages just fine so it has to be browser specific.

Any ideas what I should try next to clear this up as the sluggishness is getting old fast!

An example is a youtube video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wb0FCQug48c which produced an error something like unable to play video no mater how many times I try yet other youtube videos would play. After closing FF then reopening it played.

Can the running configuration of FF be captured for evaluation ?

I tried to access a website but Mozilla will not permit it as it says it is a potential security risk, probably due to an expired certificate. But when I went to the help page it said to contact the website owner to let them know about the difficulty as they might not realize what is happening and that they need to redo the certificate. How do I contact the website owner when I cannot access the website?

(I would love to include an attachment, but your page here will not let me. It only accepts 'images' and what I have to share is a Word document with a printscreen of the refusal to allow access tab and the information from the webpage to 'contact the website owner'.)

I've added nothing else since the update and have not changed any settings. I would prefer to not go to "Standard" controls. i have just deleted all firefox files on my computer and re-install it after that i trusted that all my information can be restored just by signing-in with my account and for some reason i put my password and it didn`t sign me in so i tried resetting my password after that i look at my passwords & Logins and it all was GONE ! i made most of my accounts with the random password service that FireFox provides So is there ANY way that i can contact mozilla to bring my important information back PLEASE ?

Unable to log in to Charles Schwab website

I use Firefox to save my login and after completing the user and login fields and clicking "Log in" the login/password fields go blank and I get this error message in red-

"Feature temporarily unavailable"

Clearing cookies and cache, re-starting browser and entering password manually do not help. I can login just fine using Internet Explorer. I also can log in outside of business hours (late evening) after 2 or 3 tries, also can log in on a different PC with Firefox (configured the same).

I have the following plugins- uBlock, DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials and Ghostery- all of which are disabled for Schwab domains (schwab.com, client.schwab.com, lms.schwab.com).

Schwab's technical support figure there is something going wrong with Firefox but are unable to figure it out.

Any ideas? Thanks for helping.

I want to install Firefox on a new Windows 10 PC which has an SSD for its C: drive and an HDD for its D: storage drive. I would like to minimize SSD usage if possible and know that the FF profile can be moved to the D: drive.

I did quite a bit of searching & some people have a lot of SSD activity & say to move a cache folder or the AppData/Roaming folder. Other people don't seem to have a problem.

Is there a recommended configuration in order to minimize SSD wear?

I use Ubuntu 20.04 (when I first opened FF on this pc it had the gnome icon and I hadn't checked for this problem before importing my old profile with add-ons, now it doesn't show the icon for some reason), I tried safe mode, refresh firefox, creating new profile, uninstalling and deleting home/.mozilla folder, no luck. Before I got this pc I used my old laptop with windows 7 and I'm pretty sure I had the same problem with facebook comments that had started some time earlier.

I have this option enabled, so when I open a new tab, it instantly switches to it. This works when I install Firefox, but it stops working later for some reason. I tried to start Firefox in safe mode under another profile (with no addons) didn't help.
