Suddenly when I try to go on Youtube, I get messages that I'm blocking ads. I'm on a Mac-mini using X El Capitan V10.11.6, which is the highest I can upgrade to. I'm using Firefox Browser 78.15 (64-bit) and info shows it's up to date. My old Safari browser still will work with Youtube, but Foxfire is my go-to browser.

I can't scroll down my Outlook Email folders. I have maybe 30 folders, but I can only see the first/top 12 or so, starting with Inbox, etc. I can scroll down my emails. I have asked Microsoft Support 3 times, so I have deleted addons, cleared cache, tried Private Window, but still no joy. The folders are all visible on my cell phone (Android), but I really want full use of Hotmail again on my laptop. It has been a problem for a few months. I cannot update my OSX, so cannot install/use another browser, and probably not update Firefox either from 78.15.Oesr. Thanks in advance.

Hi, my 2008 Mac Pro uses OS X El Capitan, version 10.11.6 and I am on Firefox 78.15.0esr, I cannot install the new upgrade. Can I continue using the older version of Firefox even though the sync will not work anymore?

Hi there, Please see attached image of screenshots of searches on Firefox and Chrome. The Firefox search images are incomplete whereas the Chrome images are complete. This has only started happening on Firefox recently. Can you please help me resolve this issue. I have cleared the cache & cookies, restarted my macbook etc but nothing has worked. I just "discovered" the existence of ESR, as 78.15 on my wife's beloved 2009 Mac OS 10.11. Our newer Mac is ok with OS 12.6 and Firefox 110, auto updating. We dislike relentless whiz-bang changes, and need just email, simple games, and basic browsing on the older Mac; email, moderate browsing, flight simulation, and some streaming on the newer. In plain English, please, what are pro and con of switching it to ESR?

Hi I recieved an Email Notification From Firefox Mozilla saying that i need to Upgrade my Forefox Browser on my MacBook Pro 2009 ( Operating System Yosemite Version 10.10.5 ) by 31st of march.my Firefox is set to update automatically

 so,  Is this a Legit Notification or a scam 
and , if legit, how do i go about doing it without updating my Operating system
   any info would be appreciated !

I received an email from mozilla, dated 02/23/24 subject: Don't stop the sync Up grade firefox password by March 31st.

I'm dumb about how to do this.......My deceased wife did all of using the Mac. The unit has version 78...Has anyone got time to guide me thru this??

For the past several weeks when I click on Messenger from the Facebook web page I get a blank page with the Facebook header. Same if I click the little shortcut button (brings up a blank box). I've cleared all cookies and cache but no change. I do not have this problem with Safari so I believe it is a Firefox issue and not a Facebook issue.

I accidentally deleted the blue star on one of my book-marked items and am struggling to get it back. Its very useful so i can see immediately if somethings already been bookmarked. Plus I could remove easily and/or put into other folders. All solutions appear to be to go to customize firefox and to drag and drop in some bar at the top of the page BUT when i do this it STILL doesn't come back. HELP!!! (Please explain in total laymens terms and don't nauseate me with technolingo.)

Many sites that I go to state that my Firefox is out of date. But, when I look for an update, I can't find one. I have my settings set to "Update automatically" so don't know if it is or isn't updated.

The top informational header for my Earthlink email has vanished on Firefox. I still receive email but cannot reply/forward via Firefox. a complete and correct Earthlink email is still found on internet and their website.

How do I get the header for my email back on Firefox?

Dragging and Dropping an image from a website to desktop for a “.jpg” file extension in Firefox 78.15.0esr (64-bit) (right click + drag to desktop) only works some of the time on a Mac Book Air. When “.jpg” saving does not work, image file is saved as a “weblog” (see image below). How can I do a permanent fix?

Our bank has notified us that we need to update our browser. We have a Mac (21.5-inch, Late 2009) with OSX Yosemite version 10.10.5. We are currently using Firefox 78.15.0 and it is up to date. Is there another version of Firefox that we can install that would be compatible with our older Mac and would allow us to access our bank? If so, how do we go about updating it. Thank you

Is there any plan to make Yelp compatible with FireFox ESR? It hasn't worked correctly for a couple of years…

With the conversion from Intel to Apple Silicone macs, any idea how much longer will FireFox ESR support the Intel platform?
