I listen to Pandora.com music while on my pc. Received a message that my computer doesn't allow it to Autoplay (just start playing music, when I login). Went through the steps, and option to save Pandora to Autoplay list is non existant.
These are the instructions: - Click the menu button (3 horizontal lines on toolbar), select Options - Click the Privacy & Security panel. - Scroll down to the Permissions section. - Click on Autoplay Settings
Here is where the problem is ... I have it set "block audio & video". I should be able to type in Pandora's web address and Firefox should find it.

More importantly, I am able to type in Pandora's full web address ..... but, there is no where to save it???
I just want to jam "easily" while surfing. Any solutions?

Mac OS Catalina 10.15.1 In Preferences, DNS over HTTPS is Off. (I tried toggling that On then Off but nothing changed) In Privacy & Security I have Strict settings, though when Standard is selected the behaviour does not change.
I know that with DNS over HTTPS set to On that HOSTS is ignored. Not ideal but there you go. But with that Off Firefox did respect the HOSTS entries I have.
Something has changed?
How do I get Firefox to always use my HOSTS file before looking elsewhere?

Sync not working with no master password

I did a Firefox restore due to suspect browser hijack ( it wasn't). All mu saved logins have been eraases so tried to do a manaul sync.
This pops up a yellow bar along the top of the "Logins and Paswords" page saying "Please enter your master password to view saved logics and passwords" . I don't have a master password set so that makes little sense. To the right of the yellow bar is a button "login". if i click the button ther yellow bar goes away but there is no log in dialog.

VoiceOver will only read the Firefox application window and nothing within it. I use Firefox across my devices (after 5 years of Google Chrome and other Google services). I found one missing piece on the Firefox product in general. It doesn't sync my settings when I log into the new device. The settings I'm talking about are Search Engine and Notification, although I think this can be applied to any other settings that I'm not using or aware of. Long story short, since I quit using Google Chrome (although I can't quit using Android, I still disable Google services and provide with least of permissions to any services on the mobile device) I switched back to Mozilla Firefox browser and using in on all my devices (Windows, couple of Linux Desktops as well as Android) and I found that when I login to my Firefox account I still have to change Search Engine from Google to DuckDuckGo and I wonder why Extensions are being installed and synced while search engines are not. Also same thing for Notifications. I don't like being notified and disable all kind of notifications for all Web Sites (no exclusions). Can you please include these pieces to sync when login to the account or have a checkbox in case if some users want to keep different settings on different devices etc...?

When opening a link from email, Firefox 70.0.1 will launch and open two windows. The front window contains the desired link opened while the rear window opens my designated home page. Additionally the front window at the link address has all of the Mac OS menu bar blank with the exception of Firefox next to the Apple icon. The rear FF window, if brought to the front will show all of the usual FF menu items in the Mac menu bar (File, Edit, View etc) see screenshots.
There was another similar problem but none of the suggestions have resolved this. I have went as far as refreshing Firefox, creating a new profile yet the issue persists.
This problem will only occur when FF is closed and must launch to open a link. When FF has already launched, opening a link in a new tab in an already opened window functions as it should.
Any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Firefox 70.0.1 OS Catalina 10.15.1

I'm trying to restore my bookmarks after reinstalling Windows 10. They were saved in a windows.old file on my Passport. I used the Import and Backup button, selected Restore, and choose my file. It's a json file. It then gave me an error message "unsupported file type."
BTW, the file ends in .jsonlz45dd510a6. It's not recognized as a json file, so I had choose 'all files" and then highlighted it to select it, and received the above error message. I then tried making a copy but omitting the letters and numbers after .jason, and tried using that, but got an error message "unable to process the backup file."

I have Firefox 70.0.1 (64-bit) running on Windows 10 Pro. I recently added several addons to firefox on a fresh install (new laptop) prior to syncing to my account from another PC, but despite appearing on the list of addons as enabled, (and all having worked for me previously on my old laptop) the new extensions do not appear in my toolbar or on the list of items to include in the toolbar when I click on customize. I have closed and restarted both firefox and my machine, and removed and reinstalled the addons several times but none of this has helped. I also synced my account and clicked the include addons checkbox and this did not help either.
