I try to sign in to my account for add ons and themes and it doesn't accept my password. When I request a password reset, it doesn't send it to my email. How can I get my account back? I'm on 44.0.2 and tried all of the suggested fixes, such as using:

 1) about:permissions and setting Fullscreen on either for all sites or a specific on.
NOTE: The Fullscreen setting no longer exists on 44.0.2 for about:permissions
 2) Using the Page Info -> Permission and again setting Fullscreen to always allow.
NOTE: The Fullscreen setting no longer exists on 44.0.2 for Permissions with Page Info

The specific failing URL with a video is:

http://www.gq.com/story/damn-daniel-vans-ellen-lifetime-supply

When you press the Fullscreen button on the video it brings up the help page at:

https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/6276924

Those instructions do NOT work for Firefox 44.0.2 nor do any of the currently available via search helps using Firefox search or forums.

I'm looking for another solution, I guess based upon the recent changes. SIGH!

Why push out code faster than the help file and/or documentation?????????

Running a macbook pro late 2011 15" osx 10.9.5

Firefox version 44.02

For the past 5 months firefox is crashing multiple times a day it can be 3 crashes a day easy. I have tried disabling all my addons, reinstalling addons, reinstalling firefox, deleting my profile none has had an effect.

It can crash watching youtube, browsing the internet or on a website there does not seem to be any consistent factor (ie it only crashes on youtbe).

HI,

The update to 44 appears to have prevented the Tabs On Bottom extension doing what it does so now my address bar is below my tabs and I would like it above, where it has been for many years.

As you can see below, the address bar is now at the bottom rather than above the tabs as it was before this update.

Any ideas anybody?

Hi Team,

It seems the latest version of firefox 44 64bit version has some unknown issue with flash. If the website is using https and using flash to upload files or pictures, Firefox 64 bit always return a "Server IO error'.

I did some trouble shooting, it seems that Firefox return this error before it start "post". I tested this on several website, all the same. All these websites are not using self-signed certificate, so this problem is not related with the certificate.

And for firefox 32bit version , all good. So it means that there must be something wrong with 64bit Firefox. And it seems firefox 43 64bit doesn't have this issue.

When I go to About Firefox, I see the message "Updates disabled by your administrator". My system administrator has *not* disabled updates for Firefox. I have searched for the last few weeks for help (both Google and Bing searches). I have tried everything to get Firefox to be able to update itself to no avail. I uninstalled Firefox on Friday and then removed all the left-over folders, rebooted and reinstalled. It helped until I logged in this morning. Now it is back to not being able to update. What could be causing this? Using Windows 10, but this was an issue on this machine before upgrading.

For the last few years, when opening multiple tabs (esp. facebook. For example 2 dozen of facebook tabs, usually much less if other websites are already loaded on other tabs), black rectangles appear on the page, and after opening a few more tabs, Firefox becomes unresponsive and crashes. Since I already know what's coming, usually I don't let it come to this, but restart Firefox when black appears on the page. (to be more precise about this black thing: the whole page would be black and Firefox button and tabs would also not be displayed correctly (see attachment), and then when elements are graphically "rerendered", like on mouseover event, or when scrolling, they sometimes would be shown normally again.) Still, overall I've submitted so far over a thousand crash reports.

I tried reinstalling Firefox, "Refresh Firefox", and this behaviour still happens on safe mode. Since many times RAM usage would be maxed, I upgraded my RAM to see if the problem would be solved. While performance improved, the problem persisted and I found out there's no need for RAM usage to be maxed out for these crashes to happen. I believe unchecking the hardware acceleration setting didn't help either. I vaguely remember reading about an open bug about black on pages. One way or the other, any help or ideas how to solve this problem or what would be causing it would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

This is new. I have used Firefox from the time of the known Mozilla browser because of its versatility. However it seems tha some additions ate making it for dumb people, as Google policies with phones and browser.

Now, when I go to a page on a sales site known as brick7, I receive this message:

"Blocked by Content Security Policy This page has a content security policy that prevents it from being loaded in this way. Firefox prevented this page from loading in this way because the page has a content security policy that disallows it."

Well, I like to decide by myself upon Firefox information as it used to be. So I never needed to do this until today because I had the information and the possibility to choose what to do, but that was before. So I went to the Security settings and cleared the cases for the last two General settings cases. However this did not solve my problem and the page still not loading.

Please, I would like to know what to do to keep receiving the very useful information and advices from Firefox as before, but let me to decide what to do by myself

This is my last straw using Firefox unless this is remedied. . Open any webpage with Firefox and literally HUNDREDS of ports are connected out. One time I counted 278 ports were open (screen capture then counted). This slows my PC down to a crawl to the point of freezing up. Nothing in the browser will work until, usually about a minute later, ports start to close. I do not want to hear it is my PC, this problem did not happen in 10 or so previous versions of Firefox. This port opening problem was slowly growing over the last (about) 10 versions. EVERYTHING on my PC is up to sate, drivers, hardware, etc. and yada-yada. IT IS NOT my PC, it is Firefox software.

I have been using a Garmin Nuvi satellite navigation device for some years, and using up-to-date Firefox browsers throughout. I'm also currently using Windows 10 Pro. At intervals, I need to use the "my.garmin.com" website, and a USB cable link, to update my safety camera database on the Garmin Nuvi device.

Very recently Garmin have announced their Communicator plugin (used in this download) is no longer accepted by Firefox. On the first occasion this happened, I managed to find a workaround, but this no longer does the trick.

It's obvious I am not the only person to have this problem. Surely a major browser like Firefox, and a major internet-dependent company like Garmin, shouldn't have this much trouble getting along?

When is this problem going to be fixed??
