This has been going on for at least a year. Every time I update Firefox I hope the issue will be resolved, but if anything it's worse. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling. I reset. I turned off Hardware acceleration. I updated all of my plugins and Firefox. I tried Safe Mode. I turned off protected mode in Flash. It has something to do with flash, I'm sure. I used flash blocker and it seemed to help, but not totally. I'll open a tab and it will freeze. Says (Not Responding). Little green processing circle will freeze as well. This happens with flash intensive sites, which these days is most sites. I tried using IE and the sites worked. It's gotten to the point that I actually have to stop using Firefox. What's the deal? Why is it STILL like this? The only resolution is to open task manager and close Firefox.

It has made a very good product a very bad product...

I don't just surf the internet for fun it's my living so I'm going to have to start using Google Chrome instead.

What a waste of time.

I get a few different unresponsive script errors, all starting with "chrome://" even though I uninstalled the Google Chrome browser. What do these scripts have to do with Firefox? (I have no add-ons enabled except Flash Player and Ghostery.)

One example is the script chrome://global/content/bindings/browser.xml:222

I also got a "chrome" script error when clearing my Firefox cache.

Has Google Chrome left unwanted modifications to Firefox and my system?

I have a malware called MalSign.Trusops.C4B which is in Program files\file type assistant\tsassist.exe. AVG has secured it and It has one reference to a file/directory and 2 to registry values. I don't know what the malware does, but the registry reference includes 'shared access\parameters\firewallPolicy\standardProfile\authorizedApplications\'. I have searched the web and have not found reference to this particular one, although I have found other MalSign references. Also I am very careful about the web sites I use and don't download from unknown sites so I am wondering where this could have come from. Any ideas?

Thank you

Many sites I visit the fonts render, however they are 'crooked.' I have tried to load FireFox with a default profile, etc. It happens on all computers so I am assuming it some setting I am missing.

It does not happen on every site Screenshot: http://imgur.com/a/BE3It

Zooming in and out does not fix either.

Thanks in advance.

Every time I go to youtube and I'm listening to music, I go to search another song (the problem also applies to other pages and not just youtube) when I try to click back to go to the previous song I was listening to, it loads the page that I wanted to go back from. Ie: Let's say I was listening to Escalators and I wanted to go listen to Hearts and Spades, so I click back, and it just reloads Escalators instead of taking me back. It only takes me back to the previous page when I double click the back button.

I have the latest version of Firefox 27.0.1. Recently I see few of them websites (like bbc.co.uk, crucial.com) are not loading and always look to connect to the websites with the spiral circles rotating on the title bar.

I tried to reset the Firefox, using Help -> Troubleshooting Information - > Reset Firefox. Then I can open the webpage and browse to two pages and suddenly STOP (circle rotating on the title bar looking to open the link I clicked with the BBC.CO.UK/news). I DO NOT see this problem with IE, I tried pausing the kaspersky security protection and still have the problem on Firefox. I have this problem from the day I installed the latest Firefox update 27.0.1. I'm really annoyed with this and have downloaded Google Chrome to try and it work straightaway. I never had a problem with Firefox all these years (more than 10 years) and feeling sad to leave Firefox....will there be a fix for me to consider coming back to Firefox. Thanks

Tried the FF 29 upgrade from FF 27.x, can't seem to figure out how to customize the toolbar now. Actually, what I am not liking is the address bar uses the full width of the screen. On FF 27, I used to open the customize toolbar box, then would add a bunch of SPACEs after the toolbar, essentially shrinking it to the left until it was to my liking. The new customize screen does not have this option and the only thing it seems I can do is rearrange the address and google search, nothing else seems of any use... very confusing.
