I was signed out from my Firefox-Account on my PC for no apparent reason. I reset my Firefox Sync Password today and when I checked my saved passwords they were empty. In my profile folder there is a logins.json.corrupt file which probably contains all my saved passwords. How can I recover them and why doesn't Firefox sync them back like it's supposed to?

just recently firefox has been adding pop-up summaries to each address bar open tab .... the summary is a tiny 5 or 6 word pop-up describing what that website is supposed to be doing and the pop-up appears instantly whenever the cursor contacts that tab..........how can i turn that unwanted pop-up feature OFF

After installing Firefox on a new Windows 11 computer, when I click on the Desktop icon, a Firefox window opens but it doesn't open previous Tabs and the Application menus does not work. I can open new Tabs though and it downloads websites. If I click on the Firefox icon on the Windows Taskbar, Firefox operates normally.

Why doesn't the Desktop icon start Firefox so it works correctly?

I have just completed migrating my files and settings from my (not so) old windows 10 desktop computer to my windows 11 laptop. Everything seems to have gone ok, except that the Firefox bookmarks were installed and only work in the private browsing window. When I start Firefox normally, the window that opens does not have the bookmarks, and even if I enter a web address manually in this window, it will not connect. I can choose "New window" in the drop down menu and that window will have the bookmarks, but still will not connect. The only way to get the bookmarks and also be able to connect to the internet is to choose "New private window" from the drop down menu. The problem with that is that there have been occasions when I have had a need to examine my browsing history, which I can't do since Firefox doesn't save the history when in private window mode. I have tried the procedure to sync bookmarks, history, etc., but the procedure is somewhat confusing and didn't work for me. Can you simplify the procedure for me? Thanks, John Blakley

Tell me how to get rid of this. All of them say via either some numbers and letters, but the company name says zyvennero.co.in. You can click "Dismiss" which does nothing, of course and others just continue to pop up.

Latest update on Ubuntu force reset the sidebar. Reminder for those that do not want, the process to remove it is:

• Go into about:config in the address bar,
• search for sidebar.revamp,
• set it to false.

When browsing, I sometimes (more often than not) get a Secure Connection Failed message. The Try Again tab clears the problem sometimes (not that often). This problem has just started happening in the last week, during which I have not made changes to any settings in Firefox. This problem does not exist using other search engines for the same site that I am trying to access, and I note that I also get this same failure when trying to access some Firefox webpages. Is there a fix to this other than contacting the web site owner, which I doubt is the cause of the problem, or for ease and simplicity should I just change to another search engine that does not have the problem?

I've been unable to sign in or send messages through certain sites. Put Firefox in troubleshooting mode and everything seems to be working correctly. How can you tell what settings need to be changed to keep it working correctly? Or should I just leave the browser in troubleshooting mode? Thanks. Jim

I HAVE TRIED TO FIND A STREAMLINED WAY TO DELETE MULTIPLE DUPLICATE BOOKMARKS (UNINTENTIONALLY CREATED BY AN OLDER FIREFOX BOOKMARKS IMPORT). BUT I HAVEN'T FOUND ANYTHING THAT WORKS. USING BOOKMARK MANAGER IS FAR TOO TEDIOUS AND TIME-CONSUMING. AND AN EXTENSION ADD-ON I TRIED CREATED EVEN MORE PROBLEMS. I NEED HELP!!

I updated my firefox to Version 143.0.4 (64-bit). (I am using Mac). I was trying to change my wallpaper, so I went to the pencil and customize part of the new tab, and when I look at the wallpaper thing, I just see that it says "Reset to default". I didn't see any of the things that said upload image or any of that. just reset to default. I really wanted to change my wallpaper, so is there something I'm missing or something?

Keep getting pop-ups on the right side, three at a time, mostly McAfee, but some others. I've shut off pop-ups in "Settings," but they keep happening. I hit dismiss, but they immediately return.

При очистке браузера, появлялась кнопка "восстановить предыдущие вкладки", восстановление происходило, НО закрыл-открыл браузер - и снова пусто. Пробовал удалить браузер и установить снова - та же проблема. После запуска, если открыть журнал - в разделе недавно закрытые вкладки, недавняя история поиска - пусто, как будто предыдущей сессии вообще не было. Как исправить эту проблему? Примечание - мои закладки, введённые пароли и расширения на месте.

I recently swapped to firefox and have had issues with my tabs crashing. There are days where a tab will repeatedly crash, or not at all. It always crashes on 1 tab. I've tried most of the suggested solutions, profiles change, addon troubleshooting, hardware acceleration, updating/reinstalling. Currently on windows 11.
