I just cleared all my (Firefox) cookies, history, and caches. In the process, I must have deleted how Facebook texts a code for me to log in. How do I set that up again?

I'm trying to help my wife install firefox on her desktop computer, which is right next to mine. Her MAC has an operating system Big Sur version 11.5.1. with 8 g of memory.When I did it sometime ago, it was easy. Now I'm confused as to how to proceed.

I have used Fire Fox for years. Love it. recently I can no longer use because when you try to use metamask and connect hardware wallet (trezor) it does nothing. Metamask tech support says its on you guys. Please help I don't like using crome (using Mac Sonoma 14.6.1 and Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7) both do the same thing)

Open Fire Fox Click on Metamask extention Enter password Select "Connect a hardware wallet" Select "Trezor" Select "Continue" Nothing happens --dead

as the title states we recently had to upgrade the FF versions our clients are using because of a code update that required latest version of FF. the problem now is that PDF printing is having problems when action is set to "open in firefox" it's not able to print completely the PDF. But if we change the action to "use windows default application" it works fine.

So my question is why is this happening? I did some research and found related issues https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/996487 and https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1249538

What is the technical explanation for this? We're happy to just set the FF preferences to "use windows default application" but we'll need to tell them why that is.

I have been using Firefox as my primary browser in Windows and Linux Mint for many years, and I have always found it to work when other browsers would not. Recently (last few months) functions in Ancestry.com stopped working. I thought that the problems were within the Ancestry system, and getting help within Ancestry was very difficult. I finally got a help chat session a short time ago and learned that everything in Ancestry should work using the Chrome browser. Very reluctantly, I loaded the Chrome browser on one of my Windows 11 computers, and suddenly all of the functions within Ancestry worked properly. I sincerely hope that FIrefox will soon resume being fully functional with Ancestry.com.

How do it set up my web browser so it lists the websites i frequently visit when i pull down the search bar? Now it just lists the google searches i have conducted.

If I configure DoH in Windows 11, Firefox is unable to make any name lookups.

Originally I had DoH configured in Firefox, I wanted to use a Custom provider so I entered the details, and this worked initially.

I then configured the Windows 11 OS itself with the DoH custom provider, and this also worked in other apps, I could also use nslookup to successfully perform name lookups.

However, after configuring DoH in the OS, when I returned to Firefox, I could no longer access any websites. If I reconfigured Firefox to use CloudFlare or NextDNS with DoH, they also would not work. If I disabled DoH in Firefox and used regular DNS, Firefox was still incapable of performing any name lookups and accessing any websites. Only when disabling DoH in the OS did Firefox begin working normally again. I re-enabled my custom DoH in Firefox and it works as long as I do not enable DoH at the OS level.

Is this a bug?

Since your last Firefox update I have no longer been able to access the Canon UK website. www.canon.co.uk returns the website menu but within a second it greys out and becomes unusable. The same happens when I try to access any other Canon UK address. I'm running Win 10 on my PC and Win 11 on my Laptop. Both display the same problem. If I try to access the same sites via MS Edge I have no problems nor do I have problems accessing other sites on Firefox. I like using Firefox but do not wish to have two browsers open at the same time. Maybe I should change to Edge.....? Please help - Laurie Wright

I am running Ubuntu 22.04 Jammy on my desktop. Problem does not appear in Windows 10.

I can click the search box and the list of search engines shows. I can change the default search engine in settings. Mouse over highlights the selections.

Clicking on one of the choices does nothing.

I think there have been 2 updates since the problem first appeared.

PS: There also appears to be an issue with js. Some functions on websites do not work although most of the scripts do work. In particular comments on comicskingdom.com do not work and the same with comments on seattletimes.com which apparently uses the same script. Both websites work on Windows 10.

i had my all data saved in my firefox online account , now i logged in on my new laptop , i logged in with my id but i cant find my bookmarks passwords , extensions etc . please help

I have tried to download the latest update (v129.0.2). The download stops at about 98kb. This happened on the last update (v129.0.1) as well and it took me countless attempts to get it to work.

I know there are work-arounds but why should I have to **** around with my machine just to get an update?

Firefox has been an excellent browser but something has happened. I tried to access the help and, after several minutes of a blank page, I got the attached. Other legitimate pages are not loading. Sorely tempted to revert to Safari but i have donated this year and still prefer Firefox.

When I open a new page in Firefox, it is always at the bottom and I have to scroll all the way up to the top of the page? Very annoying!

When trying to sign into a sweepstakes like HGTV Sweepstakes, the website will not show the "Fill-in the Blank" area to insert my email address. This happens in all the sweepstakes that I try to enter. If I use Microsoft Edge, the Fill-In Blank is there, but not when I use Firefox. It will work on my laptop in Firefox, but not on my desktop.

Today I was forced to reinstall my PC (nothing worked, a lot of problems etc). I was told that I don't need to use any backup for Mozilla (even if I wanted, my PC problems would not allow me to do that) because yesterday I've made a sync. After couple of hours of reinstalling the system I wanted to sync my account to get back my Bookmarks and turns out that sync does not restore them. I have all my plugins and that's all, none of the bookmarks. I've lost literally years of saved data.

Good evening, For a few days I have this problem (probably with newest version (129.0/1). Each time i try to search something in a new tab by typing in search bar and pressing enter - it just will not proceed. The new tab just stays titled "new tab", doesn't proceed further until I press it few times (6-8 times) - then it loads the search engine with results.

It NEVER happened before. I am certain that I did not change anything.
