In Gmail, I repeatedly get "oops the system encountered a problem (#001)." Every other site works and Gmail works in other browsers. I haven't had any new add-ons or made any changes to Firefox (other than Firefox updates) in years. Does anyone know the fix?

Westpac keep telling me it is the fault of my browser. While I was trying safe mode, deleting the cookies and cache etc. I came across this bit of odd information -

Westpac have been telling me for two months that it is Firefox's fault, but I don't see how, given that it has always worked before. Finding this data makes me think the problem is Westpac's fault but they just keep saying the same old thing - use another browser. Well I don't want to! I have visual difficulties and my Firefox is heavily customised to account for that.

What is actually happening is that when I enter my information on the log In Page: https://banking.westpac.com.au/wbc/banking/handler?TAM_OP=login&logout=false then click on the sign in button the screne goes white like it is going to log in and then the sign in page comes back up without the information I had entered.

Is there any thing you can do to help me?

I have used Firefox before, and I want to confirm that what i could do in the past is now no longer possible. In the screenshot, you see in the "Home" section, you are able to pick what shows for your home page and new windows. Then you see What you can choose to happen on new tabs. I have set it to pull Google's home page. You used to be able to set the new tabs to whatever you wanted as well. However, you no longer can. Is this the way it is intended to work? If so, this should be rethought. No one wants to set their browser to open a new web page whenever they want to look something up, much less just in general to get to their home page. I understand and know that you can add the home button to the toolbar, but that creates an extra step.

Now if this was intended to be this way, where may I express my dissatisfaction with this option?

I can't seem to figure this out on my own so i'm hoping someone here can help.

I have some unwanted emails showing up as suggested when i right click on a browser tab and select "share" and i don't know how to find where they are saved on the browser to be able to delete them so they're no longer auto-suggested. Right clicking on the suggested email doesn't show any options and they are not saved in auto-fill either.

Havent tried deleting all cookies/history, but im not sure if that would help.. Anyone have any ideas?

I have noticed recently that Discord crashes its tab as soon as someone else joins a voice call and microphone access is given.

I am on Linux/NixOS/Hyprland and am not experiencing this issue on Linux/Endeavour/Gnome.

The crash report mainly complains about libxul.

Any ideas or directions are greatly appreciated.

I am getting emails from Microsoft saying: 'The safety and security of your information is top priority for Microsoft. To keep you safe you will need to use a mail or calendar app which supports Microsoft’s modern authentication methods. If you do not act, your third-party email apps will no longer be able to access your Outlook.com, Hotmail or Live.com email address on September 16th. '

I have tried installing free Outlook but it does not allow me transfer all my local folders (I have many) with all my history and information.

Is an update to Firefox due that will support this new modern authentication process or do I loose all my local folders?

It seems more and more websites refuse or deny FF as an acceptable browser. My bank, my electricity provider are just two examples.

Is this being addressed?

I'm having a problem and need your help. Every time I try to go to Gmail (gmail.com) or Google Earth (earth.google.com), I get redirected to this site called grandid.com which is the website my school uses to log in to school accounts. This is my home cumputer so i am not intrestend in that and would like to completly block grandid.com from ever redirecting me. It's blocking me from logging into my accounts and using these services.

I've cleared my cache and cookies and even tried blocking grandid.com with extensions, but nothing is working. This is really frustrating and messing up my ability to check my emails and use Google Earth.

Can you please help me fix this?

I needed to add another user to our windows 10 computer. The user has their own windows login. They have their own Mozilla user account, but somehow are getting all bookmarks, etc from my account. I really need them to not be able to do that. I have searched the info here and haven't had any luck following the suggestions.

In the meantime, the other user is using MS edge, which makes me uncomfortable

First of all, I have already changed my about:config browser.search.region preference to GB.

When I try to install the amazon search engine for amazon.CO.UK, via the magnifying glass on the search bar, I get this message.

After years of using Firefox and accessing my grocery store online for the weekly ad and specials it suddenly says shows me this when I try to open the website:

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to www.dillons.com.

   The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
   Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

When I look for solutions it tells me there is no way to allow this website to open now. What is going on? I don't care if it's a secure connection, it's just a grocery store ad.

i have been working for several days on the same website that I'm now, and it starts lagging and turning the screen to black until I close the browser completely idk why is this happening while it works on other browsers perfectly. please fix this
