New computer (Windows 11) shows 'Old Firefox Data'. Opened hidden files. Using File Explorer found Profile Folder & renamed it 'old'. Copied and pasted 'Old Firefox… (tuilleadh eolais)

New computer (Windows 11) shows 'Old Firefox Data'. Opened hidden files. Using File Explorer found Profile Folder & renamed it 'old'. Copied and pasted 'Old Firefox Data' as new profile. Firefox would not open. Had to remove etc and Firefox worked again. Thought this maybe the easiest way to get my Bookmarks back.

PS Presume Profile Folder does not contain Thunderbird Addresses?

Primary password not working

All of a sudden the Firefox password I've been using for a long time stopped working. I went through the reset process, set a new password, and it still doesn't work! Wha… (tuilleadh eolais)

All of a sudden the Firefox password I've been using for a long time stopped working. I went through the reset process, set a new password, and it still doesn't work! What I am doing wrong? Keeps asking me to re-enter the password, and when I do, it says it's not correct. Is this a widespread known issue?
