To repeat, in trying to connect to J. Lawson site for sending cards I received a message regarding cookies being cancelled through the browser I am using. As I stated above, I am 88 and have very limited knowledge regarding the computer. I wouldn't have a clue to cancel anything. This has never happened before. Could this be the result of Norton trying to update my "drivers"? Thank you for the help and thank you for fixing this. I do not want cookies deleted or whatever you folks call it. .

For weeks now I have been unable to download pdf files that are either on the web or received as an attachment in an email. I get the message "Original file downloaded. Error:Could not contact server". When I look in the downloads in the top right hand side of firefox it shows the name of the document I tried to download and then "failed". When I look in the Windows Explorer download folder it is empty. I had been blaming "Zonealarm NextGen" but I just used Microsoft Edge and had no difficulty downloading both of the files (one from the web and one that was an attachment) that I could not download yesterday using Firefox. I hope there is a simple solution, as I hate to give up using Firefox. Appreciate any help. Thank you.

No videos appear at all on Teachable, just a blank space where video should be. I have allowed video and audio (video and audio work on many other sites). I have cleared my cache. I have to use a different browser to use this site. I have also noticed other sites that have the same problem.

Hi there, I am experiencing some issues with logging into some websites, including bank accounts. Mozilla Firefox comes up with secure connection failed even though these are recognized banks. This has happened on a number of occasions recently with different logins. I even switched my online Firefox settings from strict to standard & I am still experiencing these problems! Please could advise what else to do? I do not want to use Google but feel that I may have to download it to be able to access my accounts. Thank you, Howard

Firefox works fine on every site, except G Mail.com G mail.com On G mail the things works well, but when i try to move a e-mail or delete him, Firefox does it, but doesn't return to the primary and G mail site.

The others G mail things works fine on all the other functions, and initiate well on Chrome, Opera and others internet navigators.

PS: It only happens after the last Firefox update.

In the past few weeks, I have been dealing with an "epidemic" of new tabs crashing. I use the New Tab extension so that each tab that I open with start with Google. Those tabs often crash. If I select a link on a fire service daily news blast, the tab will start to load the connection, then crash and ask me to report the conditions of the crash. When i select "Retrieve the lost site," it will work about 10% of the time. The rest of the time, I wind up with a blank, white tab. That's it!

Ever since the last update this website after running for a few minutes gets choppy and slow then crashes. I have to restart my computer to clear the problem. Running Windows 10.

I have always had this option with Chrome and other browsers. But I can't find this feature in the latest version of FF.

I want to disable images on specific websites, not all websites. I examined my address bar and there's no option there at all when I'm the specific site I want to block images and/or media.

Hi, I recently changed computers and all my data is gone, no bookmarks, settings, history, nothing. Is there a way to know if firefox made a new account using the same email that i used before? Are firefox settings and bookmarks stored on the account? Please help everything is gone and i have no idea how to fix it.

The latest version installed and is issuing many virus warning messages whenever I start Firefox. It keeps telling me to activate my virus software but it is already running and I have done scans to try to verify my system but all seems well. I have also booted my system from a virus recovery CD (created on a separate system) and scanned my hard disks, again all was clean. I have attached a screenshot of two of the messages for you to see. I have installed Chrome to try and see what is happening but, although it does not issue and messages, it seems to have problems too? Microsoft Edge seems to work OK but I hate it. Please help?

I reinstaled windows and donwloaded again mozzila, logged in my account (reseted password cuz i forgot OFC), and when i logged in i didnt get my previus data (history, passwords, etc...) Can anyone help?

I had about 100 tabs open but when I opened up my bowser they had disappeared from the 'Recently Closed Tabs' list and the vast majority don't appear in my History.

How do I recover the Tabs?

When Firefox auto-updates it slows down my machine so much that I stop being able to move my cursor and it often crashes other apps that I have running.

I have a relatively new Windows machine running the latest OS, so I doubt that's the problem.

Since the updates never seem to be anything critical and if there are new features I don't know about them because they've been drowned out by the unwelcome advertising that Firefox hijacks my experience to shove in my face, the obvious solution seems to be to turn off auto-update and just do it manually, when it is convenient for me.

However if there is a critical security update, I don't want to miss it, so I'd rather keep auto-updates on.

Is there something I can do to keep Firefox from horking my computer once a month, or do I have to revoke the auto-update privilege?

I installed I don't care about cookies it did not fix removing cookie prompts from websites it just broke the sites so I uninstalled the add on but I am still unable to load certain sites for example Eurogamer the prompt comes up dissapears and then I cannot scroll or interact with the site. I am now also having issues transacting on certain sites as well leading to a white screen I just want to role back to my previous settings so I can continue to use Firefox.

I used to have LIBRARY and ORGANIZE in the drop-down menu of Bookmarks...They disappeared after having to RESET Firefox a while back. I have tried searching everywhere, settings, etc.
