I have Firefox set up to basically clear itself of all history, cookies, data, etc. each time it closes. As a result this means I need to log into my password manager each time I open a new Firefox session, rather than every 72 hours which is the setting I have put in the password manager itself. I know how to make exceptions for websites, but it's making an exception for an extension that is confusing me. Any help is appreciated!

I want to attach a file and I click on a button (everything works perfectly on Chrome). When I click, in the console I get this error:

Of course, nothing happens when I click. I have Ubuntu 22.04 and apparently Firefox in installed with snap, and I have this problem since snap is used to install Firefox.

This message is the last I'm writing before I definitely move to Chrome. I hope I'll get the help I couldn't find on other places (I saw a lot of answers telling to deactivate snap, adding a ppa or some solutions like these).

Firefox version 113.0.2 on Windows 10 Displayed: Error code: SEC_ERROR_OCSP_MALFORMED_RESPONSE

Website loads fine in Chrome and Edge. Certificate verified as valid. Website hosted on SquareSpace. This is a known issue with Firefox as there are many reports with Firefox falsely reporting this error with websites hosted on SquareSpace. Occasionally happens with major sites such as google.com.

Cache and all site data cleared. No Proxy set. Endpoint protection security software disabled.

As this is a known Mozilla Firefox issue this needs to get fixed now!

I recently got help (thank you, Cor-El!!) and was able to put Firefox into compact mode. It's still not enough. Is there anyway to make even compact mode smaller? After websites add their own headers and all, it now leaves me about 2 inches of working space; it's better than one inch but isn't enough to see things.

I've been trying to keep going back to version 99 (darker attached screenshot in blues) but it isn't being allowed. The other screenshot (lighter, in oranges and pinks) is the current version in compact mode. It's a bit better, but still is not good.

Is there any way I can change the height of the headers myself? Or can I ask someone else to do it? I'd like it about half to 2/3 the size it is now, even in compact mode. Can I do that? If so, how?

Or, can I switch things around so the headers are at the side of the screen? This is a standard 15" diagonal screen laptop currently running Windows 10.

My gmail account keeps asking me to sign in every other 5 minutes. I didn't change a thing on my setting and up until yesterday evening the gmail still stayed signed in. I tried to add google.com, gmail ect. in Exception, but it didn't help. When I was trying to leave a comment on youtube, I had to sign in every single time.

After the recent update, the display of my gmail is now so wide in the display window, I have to scroll to the side & back & forth etc. to view the contents of the email on that page. It is too wide to display properly. This is an issue I had with Google, which was why I was using Firefox. Now you are as annoying as they are. I can't just make the whole thing smaller & hope it fits, as I have vision problems & cannot read smaller print if I do that. Can't I just go back to the previous version? I don't know how to do a screen shot of my email inbox page to show you.

your updates do not work and repeatedly we messages to update your browser that never does update! so do we have to delete this Linux program to replace it with something that actually works or are you willing to fix the glitches in your system?

Usually when I start my browser for the first time, I have the Firefox homepage only. For two weeks ago, suddenly an extra tab show up when starting: A page with a commercial for installing "Avast Online Security & Privacy (Add to Firefox-button)".

I use Avast, but I don't want this add-on. And I certainly don't want that extra tab every time I start my pc.

I have three times searched for a solution all over in the Mozilla & Avast settings and on the net: I should go to "Add-ons and themes" - "Extensions" - and on the list "Manage Your Extensions" I should remove this add-on - but it's not there of course, because I didn't install it.

So how do I remove this tab from showing at start-up? (Google Search can't help) Appauling that someone put this tab on my pc in the first place. Both Avast and Mozilla have other ways to communicate with me about that add-on, if needed. Now I had to shut it down every day for two weeks, because I was way too busy to write you until now.

Hi! My windows suddenly encountered problems and I had to reinstall it, but after reinstalling win and Firefox and logging into my account, none of my data loaded to the new Firefox. Please help, for me, loosing that much of bookmarks and passwords, is just like a matter of death and life.

I'm using the latest version of firefox, at the moment i had a trouble. Text of timeline zone of my facebook hidden, first timeline unhide but other timeline hidden. I'm restart my firefox, remove and resync ... but this error continue. I'm try other browser as chrome, brave no error. How to fix it? I installed Firefox at work and set my personal email address as secondary to my business address. Well, I liked Firefox so much that I decided to use it at work and at home - and I removed my personal email from my business account. Unfortunately Firefox is still recognizing my personal email as the secondary address for my business account and I am completely incapable of making a new account. My bookmarks and saved passwords are all different between home and work. I NEED two individual accounts, just like how I was using my browsers with Chrome. t

I had 20 tabs open on one screen. I moved one tab off the the 2nd screen so I could see info between two pages at the same time. When I was done, I closed the browser with the 19 tabs so I was left with one tab browser on the 2nd screen. Unfortunately now I lost all 19 tabs because when I click restore Recently Closed Windows (tabs) the only thing that listed is the tab I already have open.

This has been an issue for a LONG time. I have to remember to close the temporary browser tab 1st then close the main browser with all the other tabs open LAST. I HATE that I lose everything if I don't close the split browser in that order.

I have set .pdf files to be opened in firefox, not download and browser is still opening those in new tab and also downloading those. What could cause this problem?

Hello! I have a problem that i can not solve, my setting bar and many more things are being whitened out for no reason. Please help me resolve this! Take a look at the Screenshots:

I'm amazed, just AMAZED I can't find the answer to this with a simple google search, or searching the questions here, and I re-worded my search several times. All the answers I could find, even chatGPT (I know it's not alway sup to date) told me to use this option even though I specifically told it it wasn't there, is anyone aware that sometimes the option isn't there? What gives? Not blaming anyone specifically, but this a really simple question, I'm I the first person it's ever happened to?

I'm trying to fix a sound problem where videos will not play, and this is a suggested step. The sound on youtube videos plays with Google Chrome, so it's not my sound drivers, just with firefox it doesn't play. One of the steps as well was the clear my info, I cleared everything except history, I wished there was a way to back those up, I'll look it up.

Starting firefox in safe mode doesn't fix the problem either.
