Windows 7 ultimate with latest Firefox version: Started having problems with being unable to save or edit bookmark in firefox. When I attempt to obtain info through mozilla solutions, firefox closes.

I've just downloaded firefox, making the switch from chrome. Doing so I've migrated a couple of tabs and extensions I had. Totally it was 50 tabs, with 6 extensions, I've downgraded now with the switch and it's only 37 tabs and 2 extensions, even so firefox is using more ram than google by a large amount. With 50 tabs open, chrome was using 1.5gigabytes of memory. With the same 37 tabs and extensions, firefox is currently using 6 gigabytes of memory.

The tabs used are from reputable sources, so firefox shouldn't be breaking on these websites. The extensions I am using at the moment on firefox is, Ublock origin, Dark Reader.

As far as reputation goes, firefox should be using less Ram than chrome. Is there a setting I should know about to lower such performance issues? Firefox acceleration is ON.

The title pretty much sums it up. I even tried drastic measures such as logging out then completely uninstalling Firefox and removing any leftover data on both platforms. After reinstalling and connecting to the Firefox account they will sync with previous data but any new data I add on Windows won't show up on Android and vice versa. I also obviously tried forcing a sync manually... I really wish I didn't have to switch to another password manager any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

On your latest install Firefox 108.0.1 my tabs have moved to the bottom of my browser near my taksbar in window 10. The tabs are not working correctly. Please fix. Thank you.

P.S. it working in firefox safe mode. The tabs show a the top of screen and you can add multiple tabs.

Hi, When you click "settings" in notifications, in the privacy and security settings, a new window opens instead of a tab, so this setting has no URL of its own. In Chromium-based browsers they have the URL "*browser name*://settings/content/notifications", so I could add this URL to bookmarks and access it quickly. Is there any way to do something similar in Firefox? Thanks

Long story short...I lost my hard drive, reinstalled windows....I never used a firefox login on this laptop. I do have a backup of all my data/appfiles --- actually i cloned the failed drive. So I have this directory in my backups:

D:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\810aqnu7.default-release-1636153011215\bookmarkbackups. There are a bunch of JSON versions of bookmarkfiles there stored....how can i get my bookmarks back with these files?

where is the "current bookmark files" stored? which directory?

bold textI need to sync my phone to my new computer so I can get my bookmarks and passwords transferred over to my new computer. I am afraid to scan the QR code because it reads as if it will sync this empty canvas to my phone and wipe all of my data out. What steps do I need to take?

Since the last Firefox update to 108.01, or that is when I first noticed this problem. When I have many tabs open right to the end of the tab bar the new tab + disappears off the screen. The more tabs I open it does correctly automatically reduce the width of the tabs but pushes the + tab off to the right, this never use to happen before it always kept the new tab + in view.

Would like to note that Youtube Music Control Bar doesn't seem to work on your browser anymore. Edge is working besides your browser can I ask is this a youtube problem or is it on my side or yours?

Firefox on Win10 has lost all of my logins. I tried launching a new profile, but no good. In the settings "logins.json" has become "logins.json.corrupt" and renaming it does nothing. The Firefox on my two android devices still have the logins intact is there a way to send them to the Windows version?

Po aktualizacji czcionki stały się kwadratowe i nieczytelne. Chciałam całkiem wyłączyć aktualizacje automatyczne bo tylko szkodzą ale się nie da. Pomoc też nie działa trzeba szukać w milionach artykułów a i tak nie ma rozwiązań konkretnego problemu. Jestem o krok od dezinstalacji Firefoxa choć używam go od lat, ale jeśli nie dostanę teraz pomocy to czas zmienić przeglądarkę. Dodatkowo tryb pełnoekranowy po pewnym czasie staje sie czarny ekran i się zawiesza dopiero odświeżanie pomaga ale też na różny czas czasem na dłu żej a czasem na chwilę tylko. Znalezienie rozwiązania graniczyy z cudem bo nie ma bezpośredniej pomocy ty;lko czytanie miliona niezwiązanych artykułów

"Go back one page" doesn't work correctly with YouTube. 50% of the time it just changes the url, but doesn't load the page, and the video keeps playing. You have to refresh a page to properly load it
