Since the last update i'm plagued by slowness when trying to access websites, among them youtube, google, yahoo. And by slowness i mean the hourglass icon stays put for more than 30 seconds then the browser just stays idle like no command was given, some times i get a response like: server not found. but mostly no response, just stays there thinking. I have tried to uninstall it, but i was given the option to reset it, i reset it and the problem persisted, so i decided to uninstall it, the process of uninstall started then the window disappeared without completing the uninstall, i disabled addons and the problem still persist, i even ran malware and virus scans and still no problems found there.

I'm running mozilla on a amd 7 3700, 16 gb ram and a Nvidia 1650 super, ssd hard drive and avg internet security with mozilla being added to exception.

P.s in the ss bellow, you see the request for google, that request was made more than 5 minutes ago, and at the moment of the request and the writing of this message mozilla was in troubleshoot mode.

Hello all, im needing some help.

Wifes comp blew up, an old Win7 system, component on the motherboard died, but I pulled the ssd out and dropped it onto something else so I can back data off of it.

I have it in a W10 box that is alive and well. There are 3 things i need to get at and I am not sure how, this is basically the same question for Firefox, Chrome and Opera (apparently some of her business stuff likes one browser and not another etc etc etc, I dont ask I just fix things).

So in firefox, i have the entire Firefox folder as the SSD it was all on seems to be alive and well and other back ups have been fine. Is there a way I can back everything off of her version of Firefox that is not installed just present as a secondary drive, so all her bookmarks, and (im assuming no on this part but ill ask) her web cache and add them into a new install of Firefox? Is this possible? If I just launch Firefox.exe form the D drive that was originally W7 not W10 would it fire up? It just needs to be alive long enough to do the backup to an HTML file and copy the addresses for the open tabs. Can this be done? PLEASE any\all advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

Firefox view is a new feature that looks awesome and I'd love to try it out to sync stuff between devices. There's just one problem:

1. Firefox view works on my laptop and seems to work on my phone, but does not work on my desktop.

For reference:

• Desktop (doesn't have view tab) is Mac Mini 2020 (M1) on Mac OS Ventura 13.0 (22A380)
• Laptop (has view tab) is Mac Mini 2020 (M1) on Mac OS Ventura 13.0 (22A380)
• Both devices are running Firefox 106.0.2 (64-bit)

I have already:

• Made sure "Open Tabs" is enabled for sync on all devices
• Looked for the firefox view in the "Customize Toolbar" menu
• Disabled / Re-enabled Firefox-View in about:config

I am rebuilding a laptop and thought I'd go back to using Firefox after a stint with Opera.

I have 106.0.2 installed and all seems to be good except I can't get into any of my web sites that require a yubikey for the 2FA.

The key simply doesn't work (for example twitter).

I have found the suggestions about turning on the webauth flags (which were already active by the way), but that hasn't helped.

The key works fine in Opera which is annoying.

Is there a way around this or do I give up on firefox again?

Hello.

Since upgrading to version 106, I believe, I see annoying indentation in File and View drop-down menus. Is this a known problem or am I the only one with this problem? If there's a solution using userChrome please instruct me.

I changed PC and after logon to my account I`m missing saved passwords and saved tabs. Sync on old PC was enabled for all options except payment methods. Are you able to restore my data? Kind regards

Firefox is the browser I use for my AT &T E-mails. I cannot sign in anymore using my password. It says too many attempts have been made to sign in, when it was the first time on that day I am trying to sign-in. I have tried to change my password and it works for a while, and then the same thing happens a few days later. Please help. AT & T tell me that it is the Firefox browser that is doing this. I have tried getting help with AT & T and they can't figure it out.

I want 2 tabs to automatically open when I start Firefox. How do I make that happen? For example, one tab opens to abc.com and the other to xyz.com. Thank you.

I am a Firefox user on both of my own computers, but also install it on all systems I support remotely. On one of those the user is a heavy FF user with multiple pinned tabs. This worked without issues for a very long time. However, since V 106 (I don't know it his is related) FF and/or individual tabs frequently crash (on start, or later), offers to restore session or tab, is successful, but then the whole sequence repeats. We have taken all troubleshooting steps, including disabling all extensions, and starting in safe mode, but to no avail.

The system in question runs WINDOWS10 (Home), 64 bit, V 22H2 (newest upgrade) and all patches applied.

Any help or suggestions would be hugely appreciated.

Hi, yet again, I've opened Firefox to find just one tab, a Mozilla ad in this case; the 40 or so tabs I had open are gone. I had prepped for a day's work ahead and had opened the tabs I needed for research and work, ready to start in the morning. I don't know what's causing it; I do know that this most often happens when I've shut down Firefox, then go to Thunderbird for a last check of emails, and click on a link in an email which opens Firefox.

Is this a bug? Does Firefox just not like being opened via an email link? Is it a problem if a Firefox private window has been left open inadvertently, even though Firefox was properly shut? Or is it just Firefox updates that cause this problem? It's been happening for a while now, and is really frustrating and costly, workwise. Yes, I do have restore previous session ticked. I've shared the data report below - at the time of this post, not at the time of opening Firefox. Any help would be really appreciated, especially if it's simply explained :) Thank you

Hallo, I have a Newsletter from a publisher in Florida and e-Mail contact so it is a genuine, well known company. Firefox did send my subscription, no problem but subscription order form for Mastercard pay, received per E-Mail firefox is not transmitting. On inquiry, Mastercard said there was no rejection or transaction with my card. I think a software issue the company would know as I saw there adds in Singapore StraitsTime and in the EU. so if they are doing business in many countries then my issue must be a unique one. Could it be a setup problem ie security, or politics to purchase from US? Before I purchased my retail OS online from USA. I am not a sophisticated computer user and I have some cognitive problems due to age and illness so please be as simplistic as possible with any response. I was trying out new features and now have the private browsing icon on the bottom bar on my screen. The color purple triggers strong anxiety for me so I just want to get that off my screen. I won't be using private browsing so I want to remove it. I tried to drag it to the recycle bin but couldn't get rid of it that way. Please help me remove that icon from ever being on my screen.
