I have LastPass extension active in my Firefox browser, however it does not work. When opening my Firefox browser the LastPass icon in the upper right corner remains black with 3 white dots, not functioning. On other browsers the LastPass icon turns red, functioning. How can I get the LastPass to function? I have been forced to use Edge as my primary browser where I prefer to use Firefox. Please help.

I'm having issues with a tracking or bugging of some sort called: searchmarquie or searchbaron and can't seem to get rid of it. It continues to show up in my address bar even after clearing the cookies...

I was checking to make sure I was using the correct version of Firefox browser. I ended up on a page that stated "It looks like you haven’t started Firefox in a while. Do you want to clean it up for a fresh, like-new experience? And by the way, welcome back!" It went on to ask if I would like to Refresh Firefox, just like it was brand new.

In the Menu option on any Firefox page I can get on it states: "Account Disconnected". I have been using Firefox just about every day for 3 years. What is going on. I didn't dare click on the "Refresh Firefox" tab because I have no idea what will happen. Will I lose everything, bookmarks, settings, etc.?

I have a fresh install of Firefox 102. It keeps asking me to save passwords every time I visit a site, and I hit okay. I come back to the site FF asks again, problem is FF is not saving anything. I have searched for a cure, but nothing has worked. I am at wits end. I have everything in settings set to save passwords. I am not in a private browsing window. My history does get saved, just not my passwords. Thank You all for helping in advance!

How can I translate my website https://rhizmall.pk/ in Mozilla with different languages, like other browsers shown by right click on tools bar or on web page to translate in different languages?

My volume on Youtube is often too low. Some time back I got a java script that fixed it. I had to do an F12 and paste it in somewhere and then I got a little rectangle at top left which said something like 'volume'. Click on that and up went the volume. Click again, up more and so on. It was good. Sometimes on things like perhaps Bitchute it wouldn't work. It would actually switch all the volume off. I'd refresh the page to fix that. Anyway: it suddenly disappeared today. The little rectangle is gone. I can't up my volume on Youtube any more. I got something from the web, a javascript, and pasted it into 'console' after F12 but i got error messages. I'm clueless. Don't know where to look for my original, see if it still there. Don't know how to troubleshoot. Don't know any other way to get the volume up. See error message on the console whenever I go there, don't know what to do about them. FYI I'll post the first few lines of them: Unknown property ‘-moz-osx-font-smoothing’. This problem is causing my whole PC to stutter and LAG whenever I want to play games

When logging in to https://login.amwater.com (American Water, a large Public Utility), receive the attached message. Site refuses to proceed, insisting that users switch browsers to Chrome or Safari. Is this the beginning of the end? Thanks for any help. Running Win7, FFx 102.1

I recently discovered that it is quite true that some folks (including the folks at Mozilla) store cookies in DOM storage.

For example, it is impossible to log into your Mozilla account (because you are not accepting cookies!) if you have set dom.storage.enabled = false using the about:config editor.

So, as you can see, those sneaky folks at Mozilla :) like to obscure "cookie" collecting by using DOM storage cookies instead of the usual cookies everyone complains about and have to be warned about by law. (I love the "I don't care about cookies" extension, by the way. It shuts up that completely asinine annoyance.)

As a test of sorts I would like toggle the blocking of DOM cookies on a regular basis by toggling dom.storage.enabled. Rather than going back and forth and toggling the value manually using the about:config editor I would like to automate the process, possibly with a Windows batch file or a script. Also, possibly, (just for fun) I would like to take this concept of the automating the changing of certain preference values into building an extension. If I ever learn how to properly code one, that is.

So, my question is -- Where is the dom.storage.enabled value stored? (I examined the pref.js file but it is not there unless it has some other name.)

I participate in a number of surveys. For some reason, I cannot access them anymore when using Firefox/Yahoo. I could in the past. I can still access them if I use Google. What has happened?

I tried everything in the message I received but there was no (obvious) way to reply. I will attach a screenshot of what is occurring. Search Baron is hijacking my web searches. If I specifically click on use google in the search bar then it works. If I just type a search phrase, search baron takes over (see the URL in the attached screenshot, that is what appears no matter what I search). I can open a web page fine.

constant updates and changes and stuff that stops working and stuff nobody wants ? what are you guys doing besides trying to justify your job? how about leaving it alone and fixing some of the old bugs i cannot even search, the text string keeps going to the url entry position at the top do the mozilla programmers even use this lousy browser? i bet they use gogo duck !! time to go away

Hello, I recently updated my Firefox, & ever since then when I would try to access windows explorer -mostly by opening the download folder- through Firefox I would get an error saying that the action wasn't supported or something, so i just went there manually. Recently, it won't even show that error when trying to access downloads (it simply does nothing), & I have been having problems with windows explorer not opening when double clicking on the icon every so often; requiring a reset to fix it.

I was wondering if these are somehow related, & whether Firefox or something else was the problem. I've ran all the system scans that Windows recommended, but found no problems. Can you verify if this is a Firefox problem or other issue?

Also, I blocked my username for security purposes, hope that's not a problem

i'd like to copy my Firefox profile from PC1 to a new PC2;

Last time i tried this, i ended up with PC2 having the same "name" as PC1 in "Sync". This caused weird sync issues, as the system thought my PC2 was PC1 as vice versa.

So, is it possible to copy my entire profile with all addons/settings, BUT, make "Sync" recognize it as a NEW pc ?

I have the issue that when I enter a website that is in English, I sometimes get a little Google translator pop-up at the top which asks me to translate the page. As I am fully fluent in English, I would like to disable this but the option "Disable for English" does not seem to do anything, as this keeps happening. I can disable it for an individual website but I would like to disable it completely.

I'm also confused because within Firefox I have only selected US English as a preferred language. My laptop itself is set to German.

I don't have any translator add-ons installed and can't figure out where this pop-up even comes from, let alone how to fully disable it.

If anyone could help, I'd be very grateful!

I received a file this morning or yesterday that states its a firefox file called _I7zEKnU. Was that from firefox? I'm concerned my computer might be compromised. Thank you.
