On MacOS whenever I use the horizontal scrollwheel on my mouse (MX Master 3) in Firefox, the browser sometimes decides to go to the previous/next tab instead of scrolling horizontally. It's kind of difficult to describe the exact behavior: the horizontal scrolling DOES work. but whenever I hit the 'start' or 'end' of the scrollbar and scroll a bit further, the browser goes to the previous/next tab. This behavior doesn't occur in Chrome, the horizontal scrolling works fine in that browser.

I've tried the following: Setting mousewheel.with_alt.action to 0 --> Still not working browser.gesture.swipe.left/right to 'blank' --> Nope

Further info: Firefox Developer Edition 100.0b3 on M1 Mac using MX Master 3

Open up about four or five tabs with video like YouTube, Twitch, etc. The video will lag when you move the mouse pointer over to the first tab. This bug has been around for a while. It does not occur with any of the other browsers. I just did a new installation of Windows 10.

Also Instagram notifications don't open when you click on them. This has also been an occurring bug.

when I update firefox dev from 96b6 to 100b3, I can't open torrent link with applciations and browser force to open the link with a download action. also I can't use Glitter Drag well, why? why firefox get more update, the bacomes harder to use?

I updated to Firefox 100.0b4. And now Netflix won't work on Firefox. Netflix will work on any other browser. I have been using Firefox exclusively for the past 15 years. Is there a solution? Should I roll back the latest update?

Over the past few weeks I've no longer been able to cycle through different unit types in the Fonts Tools. I used to be able to choose to see my font size in em or px etc (which was good to see what the px was from an em), but now nothing happens when I click on it.

Hi, I check my storage for large folders and I came across folder inside Firefox profile called "cert-revocations" and its size is more than 400MB, can I delete it safely? What cons of deleting this folder? and why Firefox doesn't clean this folder periodically?

In order to more convenient drag-and-drop interface, I need a fixed fixed space in nav-bar like Edge. For now we can add a flexible space on it. But it's flexible and it will disappear when I use a side window. And I can't drag over titlebar-buttonbox-container Please help me. Thanks!

I have a problem, which only seems to apply to Firefox. I am a developer for a site which uses LetsEncrypt certificate. When I access it via Firefox (and only Firefox), I get the error message as mentioned in the subject.

I tried to understand why this occurs. A quick Google just leads me to an issue with the Microsoft domain, and what I can understand was a Firefox bug.

Trying to figure out if it is a problem with Firefox, or a problem with the certificate. Any thoughts?

Is there an easy way to downgrade back from the beta channel to stable? The downgrade protection feature seems to be a major blocker of just installing the latest stable version. Noticing high RAM usage on Firefox 100 and crashes which is making it hard to use for a daily web browser.

I'm struggling to get Firefox to use `http` instead of `https` when I'm doing development on my laptop. Playing with the `HTTPS-only` in the settings didn't make difference. With enable or not. I tried to add my `localhost` to exception list, but Firefox still tries to use `https.`

I understand the security concern from Firefox team, but if I'm trying to load by typing `http,` I would appreciate if Firefox gave me a benefit of doubt that I know what I'm doing. Maybe I could disable this feature temporarily. Why force `https` on `localhost`?

I can't open Firefox. When I click on the icon Bing shows up. I downloaded the latest version of Firefox, I can't install it because I get the message that I have to close Firefox because it is running. How can it be? I haven't been able to open it for weeks.

The Task Bar at the bottom of my screen has disappeared on Firefox but not on any other application. An I.T. expert has tried to fix it without success. Has anyone else found a way of restoring it permanently?

I have seen this in some past versions of FF It usually goes away after a few upgrades
