I accidentally entered my password in the "user ID" field of a website login, and now formfill shows it in the list of suggestions for that field. Is there a way to make formfill "forget" a specific entry?

While logging in to a secure website, I was typing too fast and accidentally included my password in the used ID field while logging in and hit enter before I realized my mistake. I then logged on properly, but now Firefox includes this false entry (along with another accidentally misspelled entry) in the list of formfill suggestions whenever I go to this page. I would prefer not to turn off formfill completely, but obviously I don't want my password shown either. Can I somehow delete the false entry from the list of suggestions that formfill shows? (I am using Firefox 6.0 on Windows 7)

I cannot believe that Firefox toots its horn as being security minded when the status bar has been completely removed. Expecting the user to click on screen links with NO IDEA what the actual link is - is foolhardy to say the least. Relying on a third party plugin to take this function over? Forget that! There's no information to say that the developers have corrected this yet so I can't tell if Firefox 6 is safe to download or if I'm wasting my time. Can you shed some light on this? Thanks

I may have gone overboard in the creation of Tab Groups. I say this because now my system is beginning to act a bit sluggish. I created 7 groups, two of which have 9 or 10 tabs. Should I pull back on the number of groups I create (as well as how many tab are located within each group). That is: How much RAM do tab groups use. How can I calibrate or understand the trade off between these markers and the amount of RAM they use?

Hi,

Just went to upgrade to 7. However it tells me that the "new tabs at end" plugin won't work with it. Upgraded plugin to newest, still tells me it won't work.

Any way anyone knows that I can set 7 to open new tabs at the end instead of adjacent to the referring tab? I'd like to upgrade but not at the expense of losing core functionality.

Many thanks,

Evan

After an e-mail attachment download finishes a window should open to ask whether you wish to open the file or save it. There is also an option to always save this type of file. This window no longer comes up and everything I download automatically gets saved on my desktop. Some I would like to just read and then close and it's gone. Where did that option window go to and can I get it back. Also nothing ever shows up in my download file. It's always empty. This is not the computer it happens on.

I installed an add-on that would allow me to change the content of the context menu. It works like a charm and I want to make a donation to the person who developed it, but I can't remember its name and I don't know how to find a list of the add-ons that I have installed. I've checked the lists that appear when you go to the Add-ons Manager under Extensions, Appearance, and Plugins, but it isn't there. Any help would be very much appreciated.

This works in Google Chrome and I'm wondering if there is anything equivalent with it in Firefox... I am sorry if I put this question in the wrong place and thank you in advance! One day after restarting firefox the entire look of firefox went wierd (see http://i52.tinypic.com/pssit.jpg). i can't seem to get it to go back to normal. I've deleted EVERYthing I could find referring to mozilla on my computer then reinstalled firefox and it still looks this way. No other application looks like this and I have no themes other than the default installed. How do I get firefox back to normal?

UPDATE: I discovered it was caused by cleartext problems. You can either manually configure the cleartext settings in firefox, or turn off "hardware accelleration" in the options menu (Options->advanced->General->Browsing)
