When I am in Fullscreen mode, the toolbar at the top disappears and only appears when you mouse-over the top of the screen.

Is there a setting somewhere so that when I go to fullscreen mode, I can choose to keep the address bar, tab bar and the bookmarks bar visible (not auto hide)?

I updated to 6.0 because I was promised a inbuilt spell checker to replace the one with google toolbar I would be losing. I tried testing it, it did not work. For example. 'mounth' <-- See that, that is being put into a section it should check and it isn't registering. Fix it or better yet set up a mock version of the google toolbar because I tried customising one and it just got painful. Make sure it has a spell check button and a translate button. Spell check button would be better then auto spell check for those of us who are paranoid.

I do not want the text--the icon is enough. It is clearly explained how to do this for the Navigation Bar, but nowhere does it offer the same option for the Bookmarks Bar, and the icon text is unnecessary and takes up much too much space! Does anyone know how to get the Bookmark Bar to display icons only?

It goes to the page and just sits there thinking and never finishes downloading. So now I cannot manage my add-ons.

How can I cause the tabs and buttons to be where they were on the older versions? I've tried to get used to the "new" interface, but I spend so much time looking for things that I used to know exactly where they were. How can I get the old version back, or how can I cause this one to put things where they're supposed to be? The tabs should be along the bottom, right above the web page display. And what happened to the little down-arrow on the back button that would allow me to go back to a previous page? And why on earth did you put the "undo" button where it is?? Makes no sense to me. Gimme back the old interface. Or must I abandon Firefox? jan Smith

I need to set up the browser for people who don't know anything about computers other then you click this and things happen. I have the browsers set to automatically update, and every time it does, I get a help desk call to their station with "The browser just did something strange."

Get tired of that, I only want to be bothered with real help calls you know.

I just upgraded to latest version of Firefox (6.0). Yesterday it informed me that an upgrade to Firefox 5.(something) was available and asked if I wanted to upgrade. I went for it. However, I hadn't used it since then till today. Now when I opened it today it asked me if I wanted to upgrade to version 6.0. Without hesitation, I went for it too.

While this version looks nice, it feels a bit odd to use it. Previously whenever I wanted to open a new Tab, I right-clicked on any of the Tabs (active tab or any other Tab) and after right-clicking, it had the option to Open a New Tab along with few other options. Now there's no such option. There's the + button to open a new tab, but what if I want to open a link in a new tab by right-clicking on it? Similarly the option to Open in New Window is also missing.

Is there a way to bring back those previous Tab options/settings? If yes, how?

P.S. In my bookmark toolbar, when I click on a bookmark icon, it has the same options/settings as it previously had in the last version I used (last version I used was 3.something; while I'd upgraded to version 5.something I hadn't used it except for opening the browser when it asked me to upgrade to version 6.0). Options on right clicking the bookmark icon are: Open Open in a New Tab Open in a New Window New Bookmark... New Folder... New Separator Cut Copy Paste Delete Properties

I'd also like to mention here that I know of the shortcut keys; so please don't waste your time by trying to help me that way. Thanks.

Hi I use v3.6.20. The newer versions feel too much like IE to me. A step back in appearance for Firefox. But I digress. A while ago I had quite a lot of tabs open and saved them for use again on re-opening. Once done with them, I closed them. Sometimes, now, when I re-open Firefox those old, unwanted tabs keep reappearing and the tabs I thought I had saved and still needed to use have to be dug out of the history (if I can find them in there). How can I make those closed tabs *stay* closed?
