Very suddenly, I cannot buy groceries through Instacart with SNAP. Everyone wants me to use some other browser, but I really don't want to do that.

I'm using macOS 10.15.7 (Catalina) and Firefox for Mac 94.0.2 .

Whenever I go through the regular checkout process, when I click on "Place Order," I get the attached error message.

I cannot tell you how many times I've readded that number; I can't have been wrong on all of them. Yes, there's enough money on the card. I've tried (suggestion of their "support theater" people) deleting the card, logging out of Instacart, quitting Firefox, restarting Firefox (which I did twice to be sure), and adding the EBT number back in.

I even tried my sister's number, to see if it would go through. Same result.

Once I saw a brief flash of something like "Connect to EBT" before getting the error message, but only once.

I have ordered groceries through Firefox for Mac with SNAP on this computer before. Both SNAP and Instacart deny responsibility and tell me to use Safari (which I loathe).

Does anyone have any ideas? If it works in Safari, what's different about Firefox that's stopping it?

Please, grocery delivery is not a luxury for my sister and me. We literally (I was a copyeditor, so I do mean literally) cannot get to the store ourselves. I absolutely must be able to place SNAP orders via Instacart.

I use a Mac 27" desktop and when trying to log into Facebook receive this error message:

Login approval needed We noticed a login from a browser, device or location you don't usually use. We need to confirm it was you before you can get back on Facebook. Learn more

I am not understanding the browser & desktop issue. I was able to log in to Facebook on my iPad, but still unable to access the desktop. I seem to be in an endless loop with Facebook.

After recent latest update 99.0.1 Mozilla is slow to start. It seems to hang. I use Google as my homepage. Am Windows 7, 64 bit. I tried refresh and made Mozilla my home page. No difference. Chrome opens fine. Was really disappointed with refresh. It dropped a number of icons for shortcuts on my desktop - ????? which were a real pain to replace because making shortcuts with Mozilla is not possible without changing the User Account Control setting in Control Panel which I was unaware of but found after searching for 1/2 hour. I have no idea when this changed nor why it did on the Mozilla side because I have been using Windows 7 for 12 years. I am sending this using Chrome as my browser.

I am currently using Firefox v. 100.0 (64-bit) on Windows 10 Home v. 21H2. Recently, I have been unable to get package tracking information from the website fedex.com, nor can I log into my FedEx account. When trying to track a package, the FedEx site displays the following message: "Unfortunately we are unable to retrieve your tracking results at this time. Please try again later." Likewise, when trying to log in, the site shows this message: "We are having trouble establishing a connection. Please refresh the page." Repeated attempts in both cases have failed. In the past, the fedex.com site has functioned flawlessly with Firefox. Moreover, I do not experience either of these problems with Google Chrome.

Please advise.

my pc had friend so when i got a new one i lost all of my firefox data, how can i get all of it back so i was forced to start all over, i lost all my, bookmarks, tabs, history and saved passwords

There is this one website where scrolling with keyboard keys (arrows or PgUp/PgDown) works intermittently. Sometimes it works when I load the page and then it stops (usually when I switch to another tab and then return to it), sometimes it doesn't work from the start. I went through the usual diagnostics (safe mode, new profile etc.) and even though sometimes they seemed to help at the beginning, the problem always returned. I kind of gave up on it, since the time consumed by me trying to find a solution is disproportionate to the minor annoyance it causes, but it still mystifies me. FWIW, it's a blog with a very long Disqus comment section (the latest post has nearly 1,500 comments). Maybe the problem has a very simple solution which I've just failed to find?

I have had it with Firefox playing cop. I really have. I have a site that I visit frequently but these past two updates have now broken my ability to sign into the site at all, even in private mode. All I get is the shield and human icons with the strike-through and the error message on the user name/password field that says: This Connection Is Not Secure. Logins Entered Here Could Be Compromised. Learn More.

I've hit the escape button, tried private windows, done everything I can including resetting which was my last resort and which I hate doing, there's no more whitelist, no way to bypass anything, this is totally unacceptable that I cannot get past this. Firefox is becoming more useless to me as they try to become more and more in control of what I can and cannot do. If there is no override to this, then I have to find a different browser because it's pretty useless to use one browser for some sites and another for other sites, don't you think? So if someone has a workaround for this problem, can you please tell me what it is?

As of a couple of days ago, I've had trouble with my Firefox Extensions. The most apparent one being ads appearing on the sites I browse (I have the Adblock extension installed and active). The extension that reveals the "dislike" ratio on Youtube only works if I disable and then enable the extension, for each video I watch. My entire extensions toolbar seems faulty as well.

I've attached images to illustrate: - Rakuten just appears as a blank box upon clicking it - Video downloader extensions just appear as a white line (doesn't open at all) - Bitwarden (password manager) says "not available in private mode", even though I'm not using a private window

(SECOND occurrence of this problem; not sure HOW previous instance resolved - my short-term memory ISN'T the best at present!)

Have taken all recommended steps short of completely refreshing (renamed a file titled 'config.json.old' as it was the ONLY one with a 'json' filepath suffix) because I don't want to have to relocate (another) existing session / configured profile by trial & error if avoidable - 'cookies' were removed along with history / cache cleared; reset / deleted related browser registry entries as directed, activated ' Troubleshooting / Safe Mode' contingency and STILL can't download anything (additionally, tried to do so with and without limited-time Malwarebytes web protections).....want to CONTINUE using Version 95 because by ALL indications and from what I'm seeing in Comments, my instincts about newer ones - were sound, WELL-informed.....please advise ASAP? There is no text in the dialog boxes in Firefox. I mainly notice it with the password and download dialog boxes, as i get those frequently. I have tried reinstalling Firefox, but that didn't help. I have tried using firefox in troubleshoot mode and get the same results. I have also deleted all Mozilla folders on my pc between installs in hope of fixing the problem, but nothing changed. The folders I deleted were in the Local, LocalLow, and Roaming folders. Other dialog boxes seem to work fine. It has been this way for about a year, and don't remember what caused it, as I didn't really notice it until I had to download something, and didn't have time to troubleshoot at the time. I would like some guidance on how to fix this issue.

I'm uploading changed webpages to the internet on a daily basis, using Firefox. I'm Using Firefox version 100.0 now and I have discoverd a problem with version 100.0 . From Firefox version 99.01 and downwards, this problem never existed before. The refresh button in Firefox 100.0 ( Ctrl+R ) no longer works good anymore! Sometimes it works good, the other time it's not working correct anymore, you will not see the latest uploaded webpage on the internet. The only solution to this problem is bij closing Firefox and restarting it. Only then you will see the latest uploaded webpage on the internet. Please have a serious look at this annoying problem in version 100.0. This problem can only be discoverd by people who are uploading new webpages to the internet, not bij the regular internet-users/visitors.

My Firefox bookmark menus are often taller than my screen.

When I select a bookmark well down in the current menu by typing a letter, for example "T", the menu display scrolls down to the first matching choice, but that choice can be mostly covered by the down-caret indicating more choices further down. I can see the top of the highlight for the current choice, but I can't read the text of the choice.

Not a big deal, but I'm hoping it's an easy fix. Thank you!

In older Firefox without WebEx there was addon which allowed to manipulate forms to prepare proper autocompletion data. This addon is not supported with WebEx anymore due to lack of proper functions. Instead Firefox Dev Team claims that mechanism built in current Firefox is enough for such tasks and mentioned addons are not needed. Seems it is wrong thinking.

I tried different approaches to save username for mentioned site but without success.

Since Firefox 98, whenever a file is downloaded or a page is captured (using add-on Page Saver WE) a display/pop-up appears in the top right-hand corner of the screen (or possibly under the 'Display Download Progress 'button'). Previously, this prompt/display/pop-up would disappear after a few seconds. Now it stays there until there is a mouse click anywhere on the screen (including outside the Firefox window). This is presumably a bug and it is also extremely irritating. Please change this back to the way it used to be (disappearing after a few seconds) or provide an option to specify how long the prompt/display/pop-up should be visible - like the 'new mail' prompt from Thunderbird. I just installed firefox on a brand new Windows 11 PC and Firefox continually crashes. I did a clean install and still I can't go a couple of minutes without a tab crashing.

When I use full screen for some websites, it darkens after about 2 - 5 seconds and my cursor also becomes harder to move. This only started to happen recently.

It is not my computer settings, I've tested this in Safari and it works normally. This makes videos unwatchable. It is like a dark screen suddenly appears over the video and only comes off if i move the cursor. It happens with netflix and prime but not youtube, udemy.

It doesn't crash every time, but when it does, if I restart and try to save image/video/etc. again, it will usually keep crashing a string of times before it finally allows me to download without going "Not Responding" and at which point I have to force quit.

I've tried browsing other solutions but nothing seems to work or be applicable. I'm running Firefox 78.15.0esr (64-bit) on an El Capitan 2010 iMac.

Credit Union of Denver has an alert that Firefox may impede access to accounts, and it has been this way for over three weeks. When I try to login I get the notice "Security Code Mismatch." No other browser has this problem. Is anything being done to fix this well-known problem?
