I have tried everything. I've gone into the permissions, I have it set that everything is allowed. I reset and forgot the sites multiple times, zoom and Google Meets, and when I reload still the same issue. It says I do not have a camera. The camera works for both Edge and the camera app on my laptop. I even checked my settings on my laptop, and Firefox has permission to access my camera. However, in the camera request history, it does not show that Firefox asked for access to my camera. It also says the last time it accessed my camera was last year, but I have been trying to get it to work this entire time. I am updated with Windows 11 and the latest update of Firefox. How do I fix this? Is it an issue with Firefox or Windows?

I use google meet at work. Up until recently, things were working ok. Starting a few weeks ago (there were updates both to MacOS and Firefox), when I was in a meeting, the other side couldn't hear me even though meet said that my microphone wasn't muted. I then switched the meeting to Safari, and had no problems. I also noticed that when the remote party did a presentation, it did not show up when running on Firefox, but switching to Safari it worked. This is clearly a bug (or a miscoordination between Firefox and MacOS). Has anyone else encountered this? I'm running on a M4 MacBook running MacOS 15.3.2 and Firefox 136.0.1

I blocked it for a quick second. I had no idea it would be a multi hour nightmare to get it back on, and it still isn't. Why? Well because the "help link" page no longer exits, ratherthe page that the image that it shows no longer exists. You don't have the option to turn it back on, and why in the hell would I have to go to firefox settings to turn it back on to begin with.

I literally just now figured it out. Holy fuck. For me anyway.

Go into discord settings and click on the voice & video and hit "let's check". Click yes when it asks to allow permission.

I'm just so damn glad someone got butthurt earlier and erased my post. You're fucking trash for doing that.

Hopefully this is actually helpful to folks having problems. I'm not a butthurt little bitch like the folks that look over this site. I actually help.

I'm using Ubuntu and firefox version 138 installed via APT. I'd like to use the voice input in the sidebar with all AI chatbots, but that doesn't work: if I press the mic button nothing happens. I guess is permission issue... in firefox settings i can enable the microphone for specific websites, but that doesn't apply to the built-in sidebar. for example I can use the voice input on the webpage chatgpt.com, but not in the chatgpt chat in sidebar

After updating Firefox to version 137, I can no longer stream my webcam using the webrtc protocol. I have the latest version of Firefox installed. The website suggests using chrome, microsoft edge or safari. Has webrtc been disabled?

Pop-up windows were allowed before in Firefox... Latest upgrade - even when I unclick the "blocked" choice box - no longer allows for pop-ups to work. This is extremely frustrating, as I have used Firefox for decades, and do not wish to migrate away from it...

Firefox > Options/Preferences > Advanced > General : Accessibility : [ ] "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page" This seems to be in reference to my question, but my preferences does not offer these choices. There is no advanced tab. I do not find any 'warn me when web sites try to redirect. That's what I would like to eliminate.
