The fucking forced dark mode has return despite the previous fix layout.css.prefers-color-scheme.content-override = 1 in about:config fixing it for years. This and the current replacement fixes don't save. I want a solution for PERMANENT light mode (black text on white background) for ALL menus, pop-ups, dropdown menus and hover over tab info.

And don't tell me to go search for a different theme I've already spent hours doing that and firefox has broken them only making some menus use the appropriate mode. On top of that I can't even pick an option to search for one that uses light mode I just have to go through each one and try it if I want to know which mode it uses that is NOT a solution to anything.

Replacement "fixes" for reference: ui.systemUsesDarkTheme won't even let me set to 0 only has true/false browser.theme.content-theme set to 1 browser.theme.toolbar-theme set to 1 (Why in the absolute hell these were added when a simple addition to preference setting wasn't is beyond me)

Very sorry for the aggressiveness but I am so very VERY tired of having to fight firefox on this preferance for years when their dark mode hurts my eyes.

As a Chinese user, I am very dissatisfied with the inability to use the translation function. I request to add a Chinese option to the Firefox translation package. Thank you!

Hello, PG&E just updated their webpage and it doesn't allow me to sign in. It informs me that Fire Fox isn't a compatible browser, all other websites are fine. It suggests Chrome as the preferred browser. We pay our utilities through their site and we enjoy Fire Fox.Can anyone help resolve this issue? Thanks

 An update or two (maybe more?) ago, the plus sign with which we add shortcuts to the Firefox browser home page/new tab page disappeared, so now we can no longer add shortcuts on the home page/new tab page.  Please help.  I am running Firefox Version 129.0.2 (64-bit) on a Windows 11 Pro 64-bit if that makes any difference.  Thanks.

Hello. The latest update of FireFox 129.0.2 still has intermittent crashes. Sometimes I can't access my Google searches or links in emails don't work, then it works, then it starts to malfunction again. I have to restart my PC. Could you release a patch that works as well as before FireFox 129.0? On the other hand, Canal+ works perfectly Thanks. Kind regards.

Yesterday, I get a screen popup that says" Outlook(formerly Hotmail)" Saying Hotmail will now be Outlook.

I've had Hotmail for maybe 30+ years now? I've always had Firefox open to my inbox, which is Outlook and has been for a year or better.

Since yesterday it will not open up to my inbox. It opens to the MS website showing what I wrote up above and a picture of Outlook.

I've deleted cookies and cache. Also history. Even though I point it to my inbox it just goes to that advertisement. I have the stay signed in box checked and don't show this again. But it does show again and again. I hope there's a way to fix this, pretty sure it not a Firefox issue. Just hoping someone else has had and and found a way around it.

Got the following Error message today after update downloaded. "Error:Platform version '129.0.1 is not compatible with minVersion >= 129.0 maxVersion <= 129.0

My PC is running very slowly On logging out which takes a very long time I get a message: XUL runner Error: Platform version 126 is not compatible with miniVersion 125.03

I cannot find GoogleGoogle Play on my PC and do not use it so I can't delete and re install

I'm getting this error when I try to bring up Firefox. What do I do now?

When I try to start Firefox, the following dialog box appears:

XUL Runner Error: Platform version 128.0.3 not compatible with minVersion >= 128.0 maxVersion <= 128.0

Clicking the OK button closes the attempt to start Firefox.

Do I need to reinstall the latest version? If I do, will all my info be saved? Jan

I have installed the LastPass extension for Firefox, more than once, but the LastPass icon does not appear in my browser bar. It used to be there, but disappeared a few weeks ago. I have tried to reinstall the extension, but it has had no effect.

I have been told by my bank that firefox wants their customers who are having a problem with the website when using firefox to contact firefox directly. How do I do that? I have wasted way too much time trying to find that contact information. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was told my bank that there has been an issue with firefox since the last upgrade. I can sign into my account, but if I try to do anything or click on anything, the site locks up and I can not do anything except for sign out. They told me that it was on your end and that you needed customers to reach out. It's becoming frustrating that I can't use firefox for this application. I can get into my account and do what needs to be done with other browsers. What can you do on your end. The bank is Mission Federal Credit Union. Thank you! Hi, I love the new, little weather app/temperature icon in the upper left of the Firefox home page. HOWEVER, I really want to change it to a city closer to me. I looked up how to do it, but the directions seem WRONG. I cannot hover and find any way to change locations. Is it because I'm on a Mac? or ?

Can you help me? I'm using an iMac computer... everything works, it's updated, what could be wrong?
