My bank has a tab that pays money directly its called Popmoney. Up until yesterday it has worked fine. It now says "We're sorry for this error. In order to use this service, your internet browser must accept third-party cookies. Please refer to your browser's online help for enabling cookies in your system. Please try again after you enable the cookies." I have gone into settings and unchecked the box for cookies (all of them)under the enhanced tracking protection....reloaded tabs and restarted browser and restarted computer... it still says the same thing on the bank website. I also have gone on the shield next to the website bar and turned off the protection for this site there as well ... it still says the same thing... I also cleared the cookies and the cache for the site I also have unchecked the Tracking I also have put the website address in as an exception for pop up blockers can anyone help /... is this a glitch in a new update.... The past couple weeks I've had this issue 2-3 times now where after I start up my computer and launch Firefox, and I find am logged out of every last website I was logged into. However, it is not every time I launch, and seems to only happen the first launch of a Windows session.

I've never had this issue before. The only notable changes that have happened to my computer in the past several weeks are:

1) I now have a second Windows user account on my PC for work (I suspect this to be honest, but not sure why it would be like that)

2) I think Windows 10 did a random feature update against my will a month ago?

3) I installed Escape From Tarkov

I have uBlock Origin, NoScript, Ghostery, and HTTPS Everywhere. Nothing else besides those add-ons.

Aside from that, I went through Firefox log-in/session settings and everything is correct.

I even have cookie exceptions set to "Allow" for all of those sites (both HTTP and HTTPS URLs), so there is zero reason that this should be happening.

Its also worth noting that this is not every time I launch Firefox. It is seemingly random but happens upon my first launch of Firefox that Windows start up. POSSIBLY after I hit "Restart" on Windows instead of "Shutdown", but I haven't been able to test this theory yet.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Oh, good grief! How many times do I have to enter this information?! 1. I want to manage blocked cookies via a "blacklist", rather than a whitelist. Also, I want to select cookies to block from a current list, instead of having to memorize them and type them in manually. 2. I have "strict" tracking protection enabled, yet I get permanent cookies installed from websites I do not visit or interact with. For instance, if I open a new site web page, and that page has a Youtube video, even though it doesn't play (because I have autoplay blocked), yet the page adds a permanent Youtube cookie to my computer, that gets updated (and often multiplies), whenever I start my browser. Please provide a means to prevent this!

Good day,

Everytime, since a few weeks, when I start a new session I have to accept cookies again with many websites. e.g. Google or De Telegraaf. Normally with the Telegraaf I have to log in just once, but since a few weeks I have to log in every time. In firefox settings I have "remember history" on.

After moving to Firefox 78 ESR, get/setCookieString() is no longer working. For example:

       if (cookieService != null) {
           cookieService.setCookieString(cookieUri, null, "CertCheckDone=1;", null);
           myTrace("cookie is " + cookieService.getCookieString(cookieUri, null));
       }
   }

Firefox is running in kiosk mode and this code was executed with a hook in browser.js. Can someone please help me with this? Are there APIs I can use in place of these or are the Webextension APIs the only way to set a cookie now? I have tried playing around and can load a temporary extension but it's removed when restarting the browser and this also has to run in kiosk mode.

Everytime I go to facebook before I sign in a grey overlay appears on the sign in page and when I scroll down this message appears. I'm getting tired of it. Does anyone know how I can bypass all this and sign straight in like I used to be able to. I also find it strange that I seem to be the only person experiencing this as when I search for similar instances I get nothing. This started about a week ago, I have to press 'accept all' all the time, why can't this be automatic. Thanks for any help.

So, having been with Firefox since the end of Netscape Navigator... I have had one major irritation that is as follows:

Why is it not possible to simply save a cookie somewhere in a little piggy vault, and forgoing any other setting, and will save that cookie (specifically my banking cookies).

And be able to clear other data when closing the browser without losing said cookie(s)

no need for response, I am not interested in reading another, well, check a, but not b, or if you use r, then uncheck x.... I am not out to recreate a bomb, just wanted to simply get into my bank

I put items in a cart on a website that I accessed through firefox. I did not sign into any accounts on the website and I did not purchase the items. I then cleared my cookies, cache, and offline data. Later on I went back to the website and wanted to put items back in the cart to re-price everything and discovered that the items were still in the cart from before. I cleared cookies, etc. again and the items were still in the cart. I then went to the website on Chrome and the items were still in the cart. Again, I did not sign into any accounts or anything. I never use Chrome. Just went straight to the website on Chrome and went to the cart and the items were there even though I didn't use Chrome to put anything in the cart. I then cleared cookies, etc. on Chrome and the items were still in the cart. I tried this on Edge and same thing. I have used Bitdefender, Malwarebytes, Hitman Pro, and CC Cleaner and no program is finding the malware or spyware or trojan or whatever this is. This is a well-known website that even has a facebook page. I messaged the webmaster and I posted on their facebook page and I'm being ignored. What is this and how do I get rid of it?

Dear Firefox Community,

I can't create subject or new post on AMD Community forum. I mean this website: https://community.amd.com/

This can be problem with firefox because before update to version 91.0 I had not any problem. I think that this is problem with cookies because when I open community.amd.com website in private mode I can create only one subject or new post. If I want to second subject or post I can see information like this: "Post flooding detected (user tried to post more than 1 messages within 600 seconds)". Like I said when I want to create second subject or post this is not possible. To solve this problem I must log out from the website next exit the tab and open new one in private mode, log out again and I can now create again but only one post/subject.

This can be also problem with new version of firefox 91.0 because before update to this version I had not any problem. I think that this is problem with cookies.

Can you tell me if you have also this issue?

Thanks.

Hi, Is there anyway I can set my Firefox to delete cookies from a specific website upon exit? There's an option for us to delete everything upon exit but that is for all websites and I just want to rid of cookies from some websites only. Could anyone please help me this?
