I've got an M2 MacAir running the latest version of Sonoma. Within the last week, the battery power has fallen off a cliff. It barely runs for a couple of hours and recharging takes nearly half a day. I'm not running anything unusual just social media & YT videos. This seems to have coincided with the latest Firefox update. I was wondering if this might be contributing to it or if this is a common problem since Sonoma & FF updates?

Anyone any ideas?

Firefox works great on every other video site. But Youtube will not show or play video. I have refreshed Firefox, disabled add on. Restarted my computer, tested all hardware. No Bueno...

it keeps popping this message up "firefox is installing components needed to play audio or video on this page, please try again later" its been saying this since the new update and keeps telling me failed to check for update.

Some webpages, that I must log in to, are coming up blank, when I attempt to login. No error, just blank white page. Two examples are paypal and textfree. I have cleared everything I can think of or find on the internet. I have refreshed and restarted several times. This has all started int he last few weeks. The two sites mentioned are ones I really need access to. I am not sure if it is my machine or the browser.

I currently have a 'bad/rouge' session of Windows 7 Firefox (don't really know how that happened) open (7 'Windows', each with one empty Tab plus 1 'Window', with only 1 populated tab (Yahoo Mail)! I need to close Firefox in order to restart my laptop (strange things have been happening, including not being able to access the internet)!! On restarting, I want to be able to open Firefox with the previous session I had with my 8 'Windows', each with dozens and dozens of Tabs! Please help, I sorely need those many 'Windows' and Tabs!!!

After signing into an account with Schwab.com, the site has a "Launch" button that opens the Schwab "Streetsmart Edge" trading platform. However, after signing into Schwab.com with the Firefox browser, clicking on the "Streetsmart Edge" Launch button does not work. "Streetsmart Edge" does not open.

This problem only occurs when using Firefox. If using Microsoft's browser there is no problem.

Previously, until about two month ago, the Firefox browser never caused this problem. It worked fine for many years.

I prefer the Firefox browser versus Microsoft. Please research and repair this issue.

I already found many users asking the same, but they didn't get a reply.... at least I didn't see any.

I want to protect my password memory with a master password - fine. But in 99% of my time, I don't need to enter login data. Even worse, if FF starts on an "invisible" monitor, I cannot move the window.

Is there a way to have FF prompt only for the password if I attempt to log into a site ? ... it already does that when I cancel the start-up prompt.... so is there an "auto cancel at startup ?"

Hello, I've installed Firefox twice in the last couple of days (Windows 10 - I think) and I continue to receive messages that say I need to install the latest version.

Do you issue updates daily, or is there something wrong with my Firefox installation or is it something else?

About 4 days ago, hotmail suddenly stopped loading on Firefox (though I can still access it on Safari). I've tried clearing my cache and add-ons, etc. I've googled a ton and tried all the things I can find to try, but nothing is working. I am by no means a tech person and so I'm out of ideas and need some help. I know I can use Safari, but I really hate using it and prefer Firefox. Any ideas on what to do? I am using a MacBook Pro - Sonoma 14.4.1

I saw through several threads on how to try and fix this issue but none seem to work for me, when im trying to watch a video on regular firefox it doesnt work but on safe/troubleshooting mode. and it works when i put the video in a new tab but not on the main site. and while looking in the console i get this "Cross-Origin Request Blocked: The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the remote resource at https://static1.e621.net/data/ab/71/ab71a84c62b9d77fa0eb68c5e64dc165.webm. (Reason: CORS header ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ missing). Status code: 206. any help will definitely be nice

open app on desktop, closes within 40 seconds whether browsing, playing a bookmarked game or just watching opening page. I uninstalled app, reinstalled with saving bookmarks then without saving apps, it stills closes

Hey Gang -- Has anyone else experienced this?

Whenever I'm on NPR's website listening to a radio program, I can't access any other websites on separate tabs or windows. (they simply won't 'load' or even acknowledge any commands)

I find this to be very strange.

If anyone can help with this minor quandary I would be grateful.

I keep getting this message every time I try to access a website I haven't accessed for a while : see attached graphic.

How can I get this to stop ?
