It is been like 6 or 7 months now since i move to new pc and i been using firefox in this new pc together with other browsers. I am not really using firefox for anything related to google or gmail but just other website that have 0 relation to them. But i have still logged in my main accounts in firefox. It is been twice that once in a while, when i have to check my gmail accounts, all of them disappear and all i see is just sign in page only. There is no log in again or Please log in to this address or that address but straight up fresh page of google sign in page. I still logged back in when it first happened because i heard about the bug that happened with firefox update but now it happen again. It is as if my cookies just vanished but no, other sites still got their own cookies and there is many cache of other website here. other than my google accounts. What is happening here. Is my firefox bugged or something? Should i reinstall and have to relogin everything "again?"

Since I upgraded from FF128-esr to FF140-esr I always get the "Firefox is being updated by another instance" This is really driving me crazy, as I checked / did / .... everything (and even more) I found on the internet related to that.

Creating and using a new default profile didn't help

Finally I ended up uninstalling FF completely (making sure no -zero- leftovers remained in ProgramFiles, AppData a.s.o.), and reinstalled FF140.7.0-esr freshly. After installation I started FF immediately with the created default profile (only existing one) --> SAME THING : "Firefox is being updated by another instance"

And this is really a FF140 thing, when I go back to FF128, on the same computer, same profiles, ...., the problem is gone.

I would like to know in detail what checks are really done by FF to decide to give that "Firefox is being updated by another instance"

Before facebook using reCAPTCHA I can easily logo in my Facebook and Instagram account, but now I always failed to pass the reCAPTCHA， I report this to Meta no good reply. Only today I did the reCAPTCHA and then got a reminder that facebook cannot detect the reCAPTCHA. I still cannot logo on to my facebook and instagram account due to reCAPTCHA. What have you done to the Settings feature? It's a mess with those weird little icons on the side. I am just trying to figure out why my tabs keep closing on me. I can have about six tabs open with intention of going back to them, and then..poof.. they disappear. I went into Settings to see what I might have changed but I can't figure this out.

okay firefox crashed ive been using it for 3 years on steam os . it ussually crashes normally if that makes sense but this time it went poof . it saved one window containing all my browse history bookmarks dverything , i succsessfully transfered the crashed windows to kate windows containing 2.1 megabytes of extremely important data - riht before it crashed again. i am extremely frustrated , it erased all knowledge of me ever being on firefox erasing history bookmarks log ins everything. it is extremely imperative that i get these windows back . ive been battling with ai to fix the problem my last resort is you guys the ones who made firefox. id like to think you guys built something for this exact occasion . please help, you are my last resort and i would be overjoyed if you can help , thank you ,

Hello, I have noticed that using firefox without closing the browser for a while causes the memory to keep rising. It looks like it has a memory leak. After 3 days of watching YouTube I was using 4GB of memory. It was causing Slow Downs.

I have included 2 images with what is actually running and I have 2 Tabs in Standard Browser of Google and this Tab for this report then a YouTube dedicated browser using split tab.

I tried to login to Autodesk for some discussion about file retention, etc. I logged in using my user id and password and then Autodesk sent me a code as a two factor identification function. When the page opened the place to enter the code it looked like the image that I have attached. I could not enter the code supplied by Autodesk as FireFox kept trying to get me to do something with email masks. Is there anything I can do to fix it?
