please try and update for me i have tried several times and it keeps failing to update i have closed computer and cleared every thing and have tried several times and nothing seems to work it has asked me to update several times over the last couple of days but nothing is updating and i cannot play any music on Utube or even old music that i have downloaded long ago

i do not have anyone to help me on this i did try help line but i must be doing something wrong because nothing has changed

Getting the XPCOM can't load message. Uninstalled everything and reloaded firefox. I could not get it to work. Seems to be a lot of misinformation on the subject (irony here). Finally loaded the latest BETA test version problem solved ... for 2 days. Got the XPCOM message again. This time I reloaded the latest BETA test version and disabled updates. Pretty lousy solution but at least it has been trouble free for over a week. SHEEEZ!

ANNOYING!! I am unable to reach USA TODAY puzzles.

Window turns black with rotating arrow. I do not want to give in to BING, but I am able to work the puzzles when I use it.

Hi! I had the experimental feature auto picture-in-picture when switching off a video tab enabled, and I liked it most of the time, but occasionally I'd like to continue playing the video while browsing in a different tab but not have the picture-in-picture popup. Is there a way to close the popup but continue playing the video in the hidden tab?

From what I can tell the close button always stops the video and the to tab button doesn't have any way of switching off the tab with an active video without the popup coming back.

Firefox is not letting me access my Windows or Microsoft account. (using WIndows 11) The login popup is asking for School or Work email, which is not applicable to me. I input my usual login information and Microsoft pop-up says account does not exist. When I login to Windows, using a different desktop (Windows 10), I do not have login in issues.

What is the browser setting that needs to be updated.

I usually never use my school account on my home PC but a few days ago I did. I signed in, finished my work and now I cannot use my other accounts. It says that Halton has blocked access to my account. I can't use YouTube or any of the things school blocks. I cleared the school account. I cleared cash. I cleared cookies. I reinstalled it. Please help.

The app browser search, despite being up to date and installed on a compatible phone, no longer works consistently for image search.

The image results will briefly show up before the entire page blacks out. And even when the images do show up, the page will occasionally black out when I'm part way through scrolling down the page.

Force quitting the app, re-opening and starting again occasionally works, but it's inconsistent. Web site results will still generate, just not the images.

I accidentally downloaded a newer version of Firefox on my iMac but it is too old to run it. Now I have no way to download an older version that I use to have. Don’t have any suggestions? Thanks

My COPY context menu item is greyed out randomly. I guess it's not an issue of websites preventing copying. Happens while visiting various websites.

There's an advice to refresh Firefox, but I want to keep my passwords and avoid setting bookmarks again or resetting UI items displacement, any advice? Bugzilla threads contain some fixes, but as I have up-to-date version of Firefox, the bug is still randomly present.

As of a few days ago (potentially coinciding with the most recent update?) I've had several websites become varying degrees of unresponsive when using Firefox while being connected to a VPN (Nord, in this case).

Some sites will load but then get throttled--i.e. YouTube will load and (usually) populate thumbnails, but clicking on a video will result in the video instantly dropping to its lowest available resolution, playing for a few seconds, and then stalling. Interestingly(?) if I try to watch a live stream, chat will be fully functional but the video will be unable to load. Other sites will load but then very quickly stop responding at all. Others are straight up just not loading period, while many others have no issues at all.

I've cleared my cache, deleted cookies for the affected sites, tried Firefox in a private window, tried Firefox with no extensions, and reinstalled both Nord and Firefox to no avail. All of the affected sites are fully functional so long as I'm not connected to a VPN, and are also fully functional on other browsers, even while connected to a VPN. All other non-browser related applications that require the internet are also unaffected, and my internet speeds in general aren't showing any issues.

I've been unable to find any other chatter about this anywhere, and I unfortunately don't have any other devices available to try and replicate the issues. I would not be surprised if it was one of those wonderful Me Exclusive DNS issues or something, but figured it was worth throwing out there.

My Mac shut down unexpectedly. Upon rebooting the newest version of Firefox - 138.0.1 was installed. All of my bookmarks have disappeared. I tried to restore from a backup but when I hit restore in the manage bookmarks window it says "choose file" but it lists no files to choose from. I found multiple backup files by accessing my Firefox profile via finder. However when I try to open them with Firefox it displays a blank page and nothing in the bookmarks tab. Is it possible that the bookmark files have also been deleted from the backups as well? If not, how do I transfer these files to the active bookmark tab in the menu bar other than using the restore function which offers no files to choose from?

I have a typical search bar at the top of the browser window. Recently, as soon as I begin to type a search, the bar expands to cover the whole top of the browser window. How do I stop this from happening? It's unnecessary and irritating. Firefox 133.0, Win 11

I have two monitors: Monitor 1 is Asus PG248QP(Run in 1920 x 1080 360hz landscape 100% scale) Monitor 2 is G272U Pro(Run in 4320 x 2160 60hz landscape 150% scale). I arrange them veritcally, monitor 2 on top and monitor 1 at the bottom.

When I minimize the non-fullscreen firefox window on the monitor 1, black/transparent border shows on the left, right, and bottom of the firefox window.

When I arrange two monitor horizontally, everything normal. I place monitor 1 at the left of monitor 2.

When I do this on the monitor 2, everything normal.

I have to use two monitors vertically, since I don't have much space.

I also tried different versions of firefox. for now, 129.0 to 136 has these problems. I have install chrome, brave, edge. None of them has this problem.

I accidentally blocked a web site that I need. I have followed all of the instructions to unblock (creating a master password, etc) but it does not work. I need to get this site unblocked as soon as possible.
