I'm trying to configure my router and the instructions tell me to go to https://192.168.1.1. But the security settings will not allow me to get to that (local network) IP address, and ther.is no option to bypass the warning

When a "+" sign is entered, alone, into address bar, a list of some visited sites instantly appears. How do I delete these sites and prevent sites from being saved in the future?

I've searched everywhere I can find for an answer to this question, or for a place to submit it, and failed.

In Privacy & Security > History I've un-checked all except "Clear history when Firefox closes" which is checked. In > "Address Bar--Firefox Suggest", I've disabled all options.

I clear "Recent History, Everything" (Cookies and Site Settings are left unchecked) frequently.

I receive the following message when going to nba.com (just nba.com, no videos, etc)

"A Secure Connection Failed error page will include a description of the error and a Try Again button. There is no option to add a security exception to bypass this type of error."

This (There is no option) means that I have to quit using Firefox?

I'm a software developer working on some web application and sometimes need to manually add URL components in the address bar of an open tab simpyl to test something. For example I have some tab open shwoing the web page under "http://localhost:8080/entry" and I need to test "http://localhost:8080/entry/foobar" by manually adding "/foobar" to the URL. Depending on if "/foobar" exists or not, either some web page is shown or inc ase of a HTTP status code 404 Firefox automatically opens a new tab and forwards my input as search to Google.

That is not what I want. I want Firefox to simply show the HTTP status code 404 like the other browsers I use. Though, I want to be able to search in the address bar in general, only not in case there's an existing working URL open already and I change the child path only.

Is there some way to disable the behaviour of Firefox for 404s or do I need to completely disable searches in the address bar instead?

I was told by Blue Cross tech support that to regain access to their portal, I need to replace my old Fepblue.org password with a new one within my Firefox browser. How do I do that?? Apparently, the Firefox browser doesn't recognize the new password I submitted to Fepblue. portal. Please help? Thanks

I keep on getting pop-up ads like the one shown. It started only fairly recently. I have done everything that the Internet suggests but still cannot get rid of them. The ads claim to be from google but somehow I feel they come from some malware. But I can't find the malware.

the Ask to Save Website Passwords Option keeps Deselecting itself, it will not stay selected

Because of that, the Auto fill Username & Password fields do not populate.

I have already Uninstalled Firefox, removed all files from my system, deleted all Firefox App Data from my system, Reinstalled Firefox from Scratch, reconfigured all, but can not get this working correctly

hi, well I deleted and distrusted a certificate. now I'm trying to import the same certificate but it doesn't work. when i add the certificate i does not show anything on the certs list.

I have DNS over HTTPS enabled and set to Default Protection in Firefox.

According to the following article (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/dns-over-https?as=u&utm_source=inproduct#w_why-would-a-network-tell-firefox-not-to-use-secure-dns) DNS over HTTPS should automatically switch to "Not Active" when connected to a VPN.

I am using the NordVPN CLI for linux and have found that when I connect to the VPN, Firefox DNS over HTTPS stays active and does not switch to "Not Active" like it is supposed to.

Does anyone know why this might be happening?

How do I get Firefox to stop suggesting my email address, city, state or other information on lines for logins or applications? I have turned off all the autofill selections in security and privacy and it still offers suggestions. I don't want any suggestions AT ALL.
