A recent update has changed the functionality of browsing images on eBay and other sites that use similar "slide-show" functionality.
Within the images section of an item on ebay, the left- and right-cursor keys on the keyboard no longer advance the through the images one-at-a-time -- now they skip two images at a time, or sometimes more, or sometimes right to the last image.
Further, on ebay, upon first opening the image-browser, when the thumbnails row does its initial auto-hide, it will not re-display by hovering the mouse over its display area -- unless first moving the pointer past the top of the display, THEN back down to the thumbnail display area.

So I installed Nightly yesterday. It ran great. Today, I went to quit and restart with the quit button from the menu. When I tried to reopen Firefox, it kept instantly crashing without a crash reporter window showing up. And I can't reinstall it because the installer appears to have disappeared from my computer and no matter what i click, on the download pages it gives me a download for an old version of Firefox that's not even Nightly. Now I understand this is Nightly and it's a bit less stable but I was definetively not expecting this. I don't know where I went wrong with this and how this happened, but help would be appreciated.

I thought if it was possible to make a script or something that disable flash player if it has been inactive for 10-15 minutes.

The image won't show in Firefox as it usually did some hours ago. I tried a Cookies/Cache cleaning process, didn't work. Restarting w/o add on, didn't work.
I had to, open the file containing the download and open the image using the windows tool.
With PDFs, every time I download an file, it will show an error message saying that the file couldn't be found. Same as before, only manually opening from windows will work

Why does Sync prompt me to install "on another device" when this is the fourth or fifth active device I've logged into the account with?

Over the past few days, I've logged into Firefox on a few new devices - mainly, a Windows partition on my computer, and on a school computer.
In both instances, after logging in, it doesn't give me any indication of being finished - instead it prompts me to "install on another device". Most recently, on this computer, it asked me to send an SMS to my phone to login to Firefox Sync on my phone.
This would be reasonable, except for the fact that I'm already using Firefox on my phone, and have it actively logged in with the account I'm logging in to. When I go to look at my devices on accounts.firefox.com, I have 6 devices listed, including my phone "last seen 7 hours ago" and my main computer "last seen 3 hours ago". It's clear to me that these are active devices, and that I don't need to install on any other devices to get sync working.
The main reason this is annoying is that I don't get any confirmation that I've completed logging in - only a prompt to do something unnecessary. I can work around this by simply ignoring the prompt, but I'm concerned for other less tech-savvy consumers who might be confused, thinking they're still not done when they login to Sync on their second device! Imagine someone logs into their phone first, and then the computer - it'd be pretty confusing to then have the computer ask them to sign in on the phone.
I personally was slightly confused, and had to double check that bookmarks were actually syncing and that I hadn't accidentally made a new account or done something to erase my previously logged-in devices...

Have been using a script (.uc.js) in my profile/chrome folder to enable new-tab homepages via local files. After updating firefox ( 68.0b6, but I believe it appeared on b5) this functionality is gone. Instead it simply loads about:blank, seemingly showing that the script is not running at all.
Edit: upon further searching this seems to be to a change in Firefox 68 as a whole. Is there absolutely any way to regain this functionality?

But-neither show the icon on top, nor do they work. This does not appear to be the issue that occurred on 4 May. I'm stumped. When I check browser integration in Roboform, there are none listed, meaning that Roboform has not been integrated with FF, but add ons in FF show that it is and it is enabled. Nothing to check on add block plus, but there is no icon, so it is not doing anything. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Problems I am facing:
- both stable and beta released versions are called "Firefox.app" on macOS. So I can't have both in the programs folder
- If I rename Firefox.app (beta) to Firefox_beta.app macOS complains that signatures for that app are invalid (which is expected, so that's not a solution)
It would be awesome to run those versions in parallel. But how would that be done?

I have used 1Password/Firefox for years. With this version of Firefox, I cannot add its extension the normal way even though 1PW shows in add-ons and the icon is in the menu bar. When 1PW is invoked, I get a window opening and a message asking me to add 1PW extension to Firefox. I select Firefox but the Firefox accept dialog never appears. I am using Firefox V 68 beta 10.
