My brokerage: Merrill Lynch's security blocks & no longer works when I upgraded to Firefox49. Upon investigation with their IT Dept. I discovered that they are forcing their customers to abandon IE7, Firefox, and VISTA for Windows 10 etc. .... this is more of the usual brought on by Mr. Bill and Microsoft changing windows faster that most of us launder our underwear !

I have been using Version 44 for the past 3 years with no problems. 1. Can I revert back to version 44 ? 2. Do I need to uninstall Firefox fully - losing all my links.....etc. and reinstall using a backup offline Firefox44 or 45...Installer?

edit: fixed scrollbars due to space before sentences and removed email and skype name from public and spam/search bots as nobody here does direct support by email or skype.

This started several weeks ago, but now the frequency has increased where I cannot seem to open a link into a new tap. Screen flashes, but nothing happens. I have tried Google Chrome, and this problem does not manifest itself in another browser, so I assume it's not my CPU, or security software. I use Avast, and Malbytes Malware. I do not want to change fro Firefox! Help!

I live in Poland and for some time I have a problem with my web browser Mozilla Firefox. When enabled, you can sometimes gives me an error message or with a browser can not download a newer version of Firefox. From there a long time when I leave my computer and I do not use it for sure about the time and have enabled browser that sometimes pop up I do not need advertising, even on the entire page with unnecessary things without my knowledge so it's done. When I open a new tab does not turn me to a new screen, Google only other junk browsers that attach themselves and do not want to let go. Yet I noticed that the browser is not me smoothly, or has opuznienia also has a known bug: no response . It's getting to zamoczynnie. I would like you to do something about it because I really like the browser, and a very long time I use it, and I do not want this because of specially of installing Google chrome. My English is not perfect for any errors sorry.

I can view articles in the London Review of Books just fine in IE and on my cell phone. But only the first few paragraphs of their articles can be viewed in FF. When I asked LRB about this and told them the problem they asked me which browser I used. When I told them FF and that I could read the articles just fine in IE they stopped responding to my inquiries. Is this a trick publishers use to force people to use IE and dump FF? This is displayed in two screen shots. As you can see this is done at the publisher's end and it is consistent for all articles available to the public.

Other browsers work on my system. I've tried refreshing Firefox, updating and disabling plugins, and removing cookies and cache. I found another related question and solution (it was actually a work around) for this on the forum but I did not understand how to implement it.

When I've been sent a pdf as an email attachment and I click to download it, it is added to the download list as a Paint document. When I try to open it, I get a message saying it can't be opened in Paint. Please help.

When I leave my sites unopened I get a Crash Report. I keep trying to open a site and eventually a form comes up and asks me if I want to reopen Firefox. I do and it reopens. PAIN IN THE NECK!!!

For about a week FF has often been crashing a few minutes are I tell it to shut down. From watching the task manager and doing some research I am pretty sure this happens during or after it is creating sessionstore. js. But whether it crashed or not, session restore worked properly.

But as of today, if I have more than 5 or so tabs openwhen I shut down FF,, after appearing to be doing something for a while the task firefox.exe just sit there, seemingly forever, without doing any processing. If I get tired of waiting and force the task to end, judging by what I am presented with the next time I start FF sessionstore. js is either empty or not there, because the tabs from last time are not recreated when I open FF again, and if I type about:sessionrestore in the location bar, no tabs are presented to me to restore.

As I normally have at least 100 tabs open each session. I have wasted hours on this already today.

This is the third time recently that the link between eBay and Paypal has failed. On each item I have tried to buy, the 'Pay Now' button comes up, I click on it......and I'm 'Time Out'ed. Again and again. Doesn't matter if I click from the item page, from MY EBay or from 'Purchase History'. The previous two items eventually got sorted out and eBay implied that the sellers had forgotten to complete some sequence at their end, which I do not believe. I have no trouble paying with Paypal on other sites and there is money in the account I use to pay from. On the 'Time Out' pages which come up, it is suggested that Firefox may be responsible in some way, so, in desperation at this third time of failure, I thought I'd ask, though I find it hard to believe it has anything to do with you. If you can help, please do?

When I open wigantoday.net after it opens http://findingresult.com/?pid=9PO98WX17&dn=visualdna.com&rpid=9PO160YOL loads before I can read the page I originally opened ,if I press the back button wigantoday.net reloads but the findingresults.com not giving me a chance to do anything on wigantoday.net. comes back . I do not know how this has started to happen I have no interest in the contents of the offending page and I do not recall opening it in the first place how can I stop this happening

I sync my book.password, history all the time with firefox . in the last windows installation I don't see any of my data. I connect correctly and just reset my password and sync with my account. I need my info . if mozilla make backup place for browser data , must user can see what data is collected and backup that data on pc and other services for time like this.

how can I access my data and why my data is disappear ?

i am brand new to firefox and i love this browser, this is my forst computer ever and I am 47 yrs old, but hey I am learning. i want to be able to use the bloody vikings temporary email add on to chck out websutes and be anonymous and not get spam or virus, but i do not know how to actually retrieve those emails Help please ?

Hi, I am using last version 49.0.2, with Windows 10x64 . I am trying to set my junk filter settings but I can't find them. Under my tools menu Options/security, the are no "Junk" or account settings. Does anybody know my my tools menu is incomplete and where to find the junk settings. Thanks all

Trying to access metrowestbball.com site to login for basketball. It works OK with Chrome (it takes a few seconds for the content to appear) but I just get a blank white screen with Firefox.

At athletics.wheatoncollege.edu with Firefox I get: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: illegal cookie name: %20unveils%20a%20new%20brand%20and%20visual%20identity. |utmcct Works OK with Chrome.

I just downloaded Reverse Image Search from Dmtr.org however the button isn't appearing to use it. Right clicking an image doesn't bring it up in the context menu. It isn't disabled in the add-on manager.

Firefox crashes repeatedly, couple of times a day. Running Ubuntu 16.04 Resetting firefox doesn't help.
