Is there a way to stop Firefox from creating a desktop shortcut every time it updates? It is just desktop clutter for a lot of people, especially since Firefox is pinned to the taskbar anyhow.

When I call https://smartvote.payrexx.com/ I get following exception:

None of the "solutions" I've found so far did work. -clear browser cache -clear browser history -restart firefox

Firefox: 118.0.1 (64-Bit) OS: Win 11 with latest updates

I used to use Nimbus Screen Capture, until it started having issues with the latest Firefox configuration.

It was capable of allowing the user to create a template to customize screen capture title.

Is there any way to do this for the Firefox built-n screenshot tool?

Per version 118 we now have the possibility to have webpages to be automatically translated from its original language to another one. As end user I get prompted for every page I visit whether I would like that to be translated. This is quite the flow-stopper. I have no need nor interest for this amazing functionality. However, I can't find anywhere an explanation on how to disable that functionality. I would appreciate it if I was not prompted for this translation possibillty. My question: how to disable this translation functionality alltogether? (I.e. How to stop Firefox asking me about it?)

One version says go "Tools > Options > Content" - but my Tools mention has no options found

Other version says to " Enable JavaScript on Mozilla Firefox

   1. On the web browser, click the Firefox menu and select Options.
   2. In Options window, select the Content tab.
   3. Mark the Enable JavaScript checkbox.
   4. In Options window, click on the OK button to close it.
   5. Click on the Reload current page button on the web browser to refresh the page.

I am in IOS Firefox, 118.0

The newest version reloads and resets nearly every time computer restarts over the past couple weeks. Same thing today, however, now I cannot load anything. I can get to settings, etc but it will not load websites - no error code, just keeps "thinking"

I am able to use Chrome, so it is not an internet/router issue.

After installing version 118, Firefox does not automatically explain the pages.I have to go out in the settings and choose the language of the translation every time. The problem occurs after the browser is synchronized. MX Linux system.

There is a serious problem here! I have the latest Firefox browser for Windows installed: 118.0 (64-bit). Under Settings, I have the box checked that says: Open previous windows and tabs.

It isn't working. All my tabs keep getting wiped out. I am a developer. I primarily use Firefox because it is the only browser that knows how to display bookmarks in a column. I have many tabs open at one time. I need to pick up where I left off. Now this is completely unusable. Can someone get this back to normal operation?

Yahoo Mail allows me to sign in, but then the mail page is completely blank. No navigation, no images, no text, just a whole blank white page.

I am on a Macbook. v11.7.10 - Firefox 118.0.1 (64-bit) Yahoo main page, news, etc all work fine. Yahoo Mail works fine on Chrome. Yahoo Mail on Firefox works fine on my Windows desktop.

Yes I have tried clearing the cache, etc. What's next, uninstall and reinstall Firefox completely? That's my only guess.
