Firefox keeps on crashing on my iMac. I tried to restart computer, uninstall, reinstall, but the problem persists.

I wish to re-install my Old Firefox Data to my restored Win 10 computer Firefox browser bookmarks. There was no link given to migrate this info held in our MS OneDrive folder (as listed on the Desktop).

Last year in February MS crashed my Chrome browser. I could not re-install that, but could download and install Firefox. Now the MS auto updates began to trashed our Internet Win 10 system in late December. Everyone is being herded into the train's automobile cars haulers so they can back us into a lake...

So, I installed a new hard drive about a week ago and while re-installing things I also re-installed the Firefox Browser 64- bit. Strangely, it seems like the files did not install itself in the right areas or the files installed did not install themself in the right or normal places. It does work, but for some reason I don't see it's program files? Is this normal or something that happens?

Anyways, I've backed-up my bookmarks, and I am going to uninstall it, re-boot, and re-install it and see what happens I guess. Or should I uninstall Firefox and its Profile Folders also, etc, and than re-install it?

I wish I knew! Problem seems to with name I have for my account with Firefox. I see p348brogden, I think it should be peter.brogden3 but I may totally wrong. I cannot get loading of WPS365(?) to happen.

I have restored my Windows 10 Home (64), deleting all previous installed apps during the process. Hereafter Firefox and Thunderbird are downloaded and installed.

I did not find the 2 Apps in the usual program folder, and they do not appear in START->ALL APPS.

Searching my computer, I found Firefox and Thunderbird in these locations: Firefox: C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Mozilla.Firefox_121.0.1.0_x64__n80bbvh6b1yt2\VFS\ProgramFiles\Firefox Package Root Thunderbird: "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\MozillaThunderbird.MZLA_115.6.0.0_x64__h5892qc0xkpca\VFS\ProgramFiles\MZLA Package Root\thunderbird.exe"

My question: is this the usual place or have I mixed things up during installation ?

I downloaded firefox but it's not working it's keep giving me error.

My company uses Oracle Fusion as its ERP solution, and I frequently have to download files from Oracle BI Publisher. Prior to V123 of Firefox, which installed this morning, I could click on the file/report in Oracle Fusion, and the file/report would get moved to my Downloads folder. After the update to V123, nothing happens after I click on the file. I had a co-worker replicate the problem after his Firefox updated to V123. Please advise if this is a known issue and if there is a resolution.

Firefox regularly forces me to restart the browser because of background updates being executed. When loading a new page I get: "Restart to Keep Using Firefox - An update to Firefox started in the background...". (see image below) Background updates of Firefox are disabled in the browsers preferences. (see image below) After restarting the browser, I actually noted, that the version is still the same as before (Noticed this the first time today, when taking the screenshot). (see image below) Anyway, it's a really annoying fact which made me and some colleagues almost leaf Firefox, even though I have been forever.

What is causing this issue and how can I stop it?

Hi jscher2000, I want to thank you for your advice concerning a problem I had downloading Firefox to my Windows 10 laptop. I tried to follow your advice but was not successful. In the end, I googled "what if Firefox doesn't install". It took me to a website, https://www.makeuseof.com/fix-firefox-not-installing-windows , which took me to an article entitled "8 Fixes to Try if Firefox Won't Install on Windows". I tried #1 and #2 without success. #3, Temporarily Disable Your Antivirus Software, worked. Firefox is up and running. Feel free to share this with anyone who has a similar problem. i found an old iphone last night. I don't know how to find the owner. I looked up a couple things on the internet and one i thought sounded right was, one to open the phone when the phone is locked. so i thought i downloaded a program to unlock ios. after downloading that program it seemed like they told me i had to make a 7 zip program to open that file. anyhow, i thought i did that too. but i can't figure out if anything downloaded successful or not i can't make anything work i am on a very old computer, i don't know what i needed windows or mac 64 or 32 my system may be too old ?

Working to Patch Mozilla in tenable using Altiris packages. Althought the package is installed the plugin 40362 does not update from version to version of Mozilla.

Has anyone found a fix to patching Mozilla and Tenable reporting?

Despite reading support guides, Searches, nothing works. In the Firefox settings - make default provides pop up that does not action change when Firefox is selected. The reason for pursuing this ? clicking hyperlinks opens Safari on my iMac and not Firefox.

Safari is very slow to open, freezes anything else I'm doing and I simply want the links to open in Firefox. Are there any actual solutions that work? cheers

R My recent Firefox update has lost my windows 7 files. How do I revert to my former firefox? I forgot to back up before I updated to Firefox 115.esr. Stupid did I hear you say? Definitely. But how can I return to the previous Firefox and (hopefully) recover my files please? Best rgds, Bill 4far
