I was able to yesterday, not today. Won't install cookies. I have gone through all of of the tech support stuff, but it does not follow its own instructions. It's kind of important, and kind of time sensitive.

Also, just generally, firefox has been not allowing me to save site instructions like it used to. Is that a thing now? Because it's a total speedbump.

On my other computer I open Firefox and immediately get a pile of pop-ups. These pop-ups seem to be cookie requests from my speed dial sites, and no matter what I click ("allow" or "deny") they keep coming back and then freeze up and I can't use the browser so I have to turn off computer. Help, please.

Windows 10 Pro. I used to be able to choose "tools" then "security & privacy" then "manage date..." and it was trivial to select and remove cookies. This page has changed and it no longer has the "save changes" or whatever it used to be to finish the deletion of cookies. That area of this page is now blank and it is impossible to delete any cookies.

I have Windows 10 and was using Internet Explorer. I want to change to Firefox, but installation will not occur because Firefox says cookies need to be enabled. I checked that cookies ARE enabled by both Edge and Internet Explorer. I don't know what to do next. Is Microsoft Edge somehow blocking this? I would be glad to uninstall Edge and IE from my computer but I don't see how to do so.

Hi everybody, As website owner my convern comes after mozilla is blocking tracking by default meaning that google ads cannot be served by default, only if users will choose so. Most of the mozilla users don't even know what tracking means, so the chances of choosing to allow tracking and serve ads are very low. Many websites owners use adsense ads to pay for their servers/hosting, their hard work, etc. and as you know every visitors is comsuming resources and bandwidth, so my questions is: Why webmasters shouldn't block mozilla users since the chances to generate revenue thru ads is very low, to none? I get that it's a great feature to the user, but should be an option rather than a default setting? If webmasters choose to block mozilla users, there will be a lot of users who can't access a specific information and they don't even know the cause.

Under "Cookies and Site Data," "Clear Data" also removes the exceptions to "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed." That's a contradiction, and basically it becomes a waste of time to enter the exceptions. That's what exceptions are -- the rule "exepts" them. It would be nice if Firefox could fix this (unless there is already a work-around for it). FWIW. Thanks.

I noticed today when I opened a new private window and pasted a URL into the address bar, the website seemed to know that I had been there before. So I closed the window, opened up a new private window, turned on the network tool, and tried again. What I saw was on the very first network request, Firefox sent half a dozen cookies to the website!

What's going on here? Does the private browsing session not end when I close the window? Is it supposed to?
