Message says that Adobe can't finish installing and running as Firefox is open. How do I close Firefox, then open it after Abobe is successfully installed and running?

Question i have a problem when i want to print a mail page.it shows me an error that appears to be from a program that blocks the emerged windows.this is what it sais.what can i do? edit

I have tried so many sites, that I really don't remember what you had me do. But it had to do with deleting add-ons (I think) that I don't use. So I clicked on one that had something to do with shopping at home, and maybe two more. Then I said okay. However, you had automatically shown to delete Norton Secure log in and another that had to do with Symantec -- I think it said IPS? Well now the secure log in is gone, and so are my passwords! I want it back, but I don't know how to get it. Help!!

I chose the apps/add-ons I wanted to keep, clicked next, and when I found out Norton security wouldn't work, I clicked the X (close button), thinking the update would NOT finish. But now I've lost my centurylink add-on, and I suspect my norton security. How do I get the pre-update version back?

E.g. on this page if I put my arrow on "sign out", "in box" or "other applications" and click nothing happens but if I put it on "Firefox help" or "Forum" and click it directs/activates. It reacts the same fashion on all other websites. Am I making myself clear? An one inch dead zone?

Even though I have the box "Open new windows in a new tab instead" checked, when I click on one of the links in my Bookmarks Toolbar, it doesn't open in a new tab window. I clicked several bookmarks from the toolbar and it happens on all of them.

Also, when I click on different links from different AppleMails, it DOES open a new tab/window.

How can I get the links in my toolbar to recognize the preference chosen to make a new tab/window?

When I attempt to start FireFox (even in safe mode) I always get the Mozilla Crash Reporter. I have rebooted my laptop several times and re-installed FireFox.

I have been using this for over 6 months without problems. This is a corporate build pc and I am unaware if there have been any updates this week. I assume my helpdesk will not be able to assist (as I installed FireFox myself) hence I am contacting you for assistance.

I have the forward/back arrows, the URL box, a Google search box, the Adblock plus button and the home button. And nothing more...Where is the advertised Bookmarks button? Or how can I create it myself?

When Firefox updated to 8.0.1 a toolbar of toolbar items appeared. I can't access the items and I can't get rid of the toolbar. It's big and annoying. How can I get rid of it.

Updated latest firefox (8.0.1) and now it crashes every time I try to open it, even in safe mode. Tried disabling ad-ons (greasemonkey and ad blocker) and it still does it. OS is Mac OS X. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling it and still happens.

I find that I exit a website that I am on and and want to get to the Google home page, I have to search for the hone key. It take a couple of extra steps just to exit from a web site.

The new version causes more key strokes to get to what I want.

I read that in order to keep my bookmarks and settings from Firefox before I uninstalled it that I needed to copy the 8 figure files over to IE, which I did. I uninstalled then reinstalled Firefox but cannot figure out how to restore those files from IE back to Firefox.

There was an option to bookmark all active tabs. It is an immensely valuable function for me. Perhaps it is still there but I can’t find it?

When I click the firefox icon it tells me that I have firefox 8.0.1.Under is written Firefox-is-up-to-date (shadow line) It also mentions that I use the release-update channel. When i start firefox there is a warning that I do not use the latest version

I've just switched computers and downloaded Firefox onto my new machine. It runs Win-7, so I get MSN's inane home page with celebrity news and ads every time I open Firefox. How do I change it to, let's say, plain vanilla Google?
