Hi Firefox...I am unable to sign in to this website in the traditional way. When I attempt entry I get the following message. "Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.

We can’t connect to the server at secure.adultfriendfinder.com.

If you entered the right address, you can:

   Try again later
   Check your network connection
   Check that Firefox has permission to access the web (you might be connected but behind a firewall)".

This is the ONLY site, that I have where I encounter this issue. Technical people say that it is not on their end.

I can go to my neighbors computer and immediately gain access.

I have turned off NORD VPN...no success I have turned off Pi Hole...no success I have change search engines...no success...I use DDG on all sites...using Google or Yahoo search engines did not effect the outcome. I have refreshed FF...no success I have deleted and re-installed DDG ad on...no success I have included a screen shot of what I get when denied access.

The only way to gain entrance is to go to the "FORGOT PASSWORD" tab and put in a new password.

The irony of that is, even if I change the PW, and allowed entrance when I log out and want to re-enter I have to change the PW again

Please help me some resolve to this issue...thanks doug

Hello friends There is a serious problem syncing my Firefox data. After I uninstalled the old firefox and installed the new firefox on the new windows, I logged into my firefox account but none of my old data was transferred. Plugins, bookmarks, passwords, and other previous information usually need to be synced. Please help me to fix the problem and sync my account information in the new firefox.

Note: I have been using this account for several years.

Running Windows 11 on a Dell XPS 8930. Internet download speed is 100Mb/sec. With every update of Firefox it seems to take longer and longer to launch Firefox and load open windows and tabs. Several minutes of the back and forth ball on each tab. I can launch Chrome and its windows and tabs load almost immediately. What can I do to improve Firefox performance, short of abandoning it?

Hi, I've been using Firefox for decades and been saving passwords in it without any second thoughts, thinking they were fully secure.

Today I had to install a Yandex Browser for my work for the first time in my life (on a new clean Windows 10). It also asked to "make changes on my device", and I rejected it. What happened next absolutely terrified me. It immediately grabbed all the tabs, the sessions and, most importantly, the years worth of passwords from my Firefox. Does it mean that they just lie there unprotected, and any random piece of code even without the administrative privileges can just take them? I'm pretty sure I didn't click anything related to legitimate data sync.

Hi Mozilla Team,

I recently had a catastrophic issue with my computer and had to do a factory reset. I was removing my dead name from my folder structure and profile on my machine, and this caused it to bork...I know even my silicon hardware is transphobic *sigh*. I know there are articles talking about this issue, and I know for security and privacy your policy is that all bookmarks are lost with a password reset.

However, these bookmarks are very very invaluable, and contain so much information regarding my transition, my career, etc. I just really would love to try and find a way to recover these if at all possible. I know you and your team make recovery possible in an slew of ways, and I really don't know if I set any of those up. I thought I might of, but I am still picking up the pieces from this reset. I know I should have been more proactive about recovery and really thought I was, and I am really kicking myself for not being more explicit/diligent.

I am happy to go through any verification process. I know you have policies for a reason, but I can't just give up on so much important information. There is a years worth of memories during a time, where memories and identity are shifting. I am literally begging to not lose this data.

My Firefox Desktop browser is showing the mobile versions of some websites.

In another thread, it is suggested to clear cookies to fix this which I did and it does fix it first but it comes back to mobile version again.

I have browsed those websites on Microfot Edge and it displays them as normal with no issues.

Screenshots attahced for websites, hepsiburada.com and temu.com Strangely, both are shopping websites.

I Don't See the Option for Recommended by Pocket on my Firefox

My firefox was getting very booged down after months of usage and I complete uninstalled and reinstalled, and now Recommend by Pocket does not show up either on my Home Page, or as an option to add it.

Googling around, the two most common fixes I have seen is to fix this are:

1) Click the Personalize button in the upper right corner of the new tab page and toggle Recommended by Pocket to on, but the option does not appear there. See attached screenshot. 2) Type about:config in address bar, then browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.feeds.section.topstories, and set to true. This was already in effect. See attached screenshot.

Anything else I can try to enable it? I really like it and I miss it.

Also check with McAfee site and support about their software issue. Also Firefox Browser doesn't do popups to buy a product or software. " However the title of the popup IS Firefox. Would you suggest that McAfee is the originator of the malware?

Most recently this happened on the New Statesman website, I doubt they haven't optimized their site for Firefox. Previously I encountered this on Gerogetown University's Management System platform, which according to IT should be fine with Firefox. I removed all the extensions, cleared the cache and cookies, tried troubleshooting mode, even reinstalled Firefox to no avail. I accept all cookies. Settings are default. The issue is specific to Firefox, Edge works fine. Please help, I don't want to migrate back to Edge.

I am using Firefox in a Linux environment with multiple workstations, where I may be logged into more than one workstation at once. The workstations have an auto-mounted home file system such that my home directory (including my Firefox profile directory) are shared.

Because of this, when I try to launch Firefox on a second workstation, I get an error saying "Firefox is already running but is not responding". I have read the support articles about this issue, and other community support threads, but none of them address this use case.

I wish to use the same profile, so that I still have all my bookmarks and such, and have them continue to stay up-to-date. How can I do so in this environment?
