Hi All!

I have a problem with the launch and operation of Mozilla Firefox/Seamonkey. Sometimes the browser gets stuck for minute until the sites start opening. At the same time, when browser starts up, I see activity that was not initiated by me.

After some time of use, the system crashes with a blue screen with an error in the ndis.sys driver.

These problems began to occur after one of the next FireFox updates. Previously, the system had been working without a blue screen for many years. If I do not start FireFox, the error does not recur. Also, if I make filtering TCP connections with the site in the RU zone at the external firewall, FireFox works stably.

I want to understand which process/component/setup entry initiates this activity. Also, I don't want the browser to try to get any information from sites in the RU zone.

FireFox version: 115.7.0esr (64-bit) System version: Windows 7 Pro 64-bit SP1

Our university uses a box.com app. It's basically box but personalized for our use. I have a number of documents that I cannot open using Firefox. When I switch to Chrome, I am able to access the documents. Any ideas? I'm thinking there is a setting in Firefox I need to change, but not sure which one.

i love firefox. however I made a donation of $21,40 on 10/24/23. problem is it appeared on my credit again on12.22.23. I did not plan on a recurring donation. how do I stop the recurrence?

Help. Ionos is my website host. My site works just as I want it to using Firefox with popup images. Problem is when I look at same site using Google Chrome nine different popups on lines 828-870 further down page do not popup those popups like lines 455, 460,467, 477, 675 and 685 do when rolling mouse over highlight words when I use Firefox. Hi everyone! I am organizing a school event in which we will have a large group of people watching a livestream of the 2024 OSCARS on a big projector. This will be a free event to students, so we are not profiting off of attendance. We did this last year, but ran into difficulties as the projector screen turned black, and then when it did start working it would be without sound. For this year- Will firefox allow for this Oscars event to be streamed and transfer to a projector?

My places.sqlite file deleted all previous history on Jan 17th at about 11:07 PM all the way back to early December of 2023. Ccleaner was last run on Jan 11th and the browser settings are set to clear cache and cookies only. The computer was showing no issues and I did not discover the lost history until I pulled up the history four days later. The history identified only the past four days when the last week was selected. The sessionstore-backups folder showed files back to January 1st. What I cannot figure out is why the places. sqlite would just clear on its own and why I cannot activate any previous sessionstore file by following the mozilla firefox instructions below.

I only get the landing page with the option to restore the previous session grayed out. What common reasons are there for a places.sqlite file to wipe out a block of history and why would reactivate a previous session not work? Thanks!

Many files and folders have accumulated under the <profile>/storage/archives/0/ folder. The root folders therein are apparently named according to the yyyy-MM-dd date format. The dates range from ca. 1-2 years old.

The only information I could find about this folder was via ChatGPT, but that is not a reliable source of course.

Can I safely delete these folders and/or exclude them from a profile backup?
