I have a profile backup from C:\Users\admin\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles and i have copied. trying to paste in another machine doesn't work. Could you kindly help me to restore the profile.

I am a 85 year old man with no divices that need a synch. Please remove it from my computer a it splits my screen. I was not asked it I want it and I do NOT want it. I have no idea what you are looking for, as I said you put me here so I have to assume you know what you wre doing.

Firefox was crashing so I found the folder in C:Program Files and renamed it before a new install. I downloaded the new Installer and installed Firefox again thinking all would be saved, but now, my bookmarks are missing and the history from the last few weeks are gone and started with the date I re-installed it. I have an old AT&T email that is now Yahoo and been using it for years. I tried to log in and I get a different screen asking about an ID which I don't have. Firefox always launched showing this icon to start yahoo as well as Chase Ect...ect and all are gone.

Is there a way to point to the old folder, after changing it back to original name and get back to previous version?

I did find another Mozilla file under Users,ComputerName,AppData, Local. I don't know if it was created with the new install or there before and just updated because I renamed the first file I found and now it's using C:Users to start Firefox. Any help getting back to where I was is appreciated.

Can someone help me recover my previous session. I restarted my computer, I force quit firefox before so I would restore. I restored and only one or two of the four pages I had open (with a bunch of tabs open in each).

I cant use the restore previous history tab cause its grey...

Please help.

Hi good day i recently had my computer recovered and i tried signing back into my firefox but all my saved bookmarks, passwords etc arent saved or there. all synced data is missing. please im desperate. help

Hi! I am very grateful to anyone who can help me. I re installed windows 11 on my PC and when I reinstall firefox it seems as if the firefox account info is at zeros. Reading after this problem it seems that prior to doing these full re installs firefox requires a backup process but I did not do it at the time even though sync was constantly active. Is there any way to recover all the information from the last sync prior to reinstalling windows?

Hi i restarted mine password to the mozilla and now i don't have mine passwords and can i get back mine passwords becouse i had there importants to me passwords? If no are the any methods to get back mine passwords ?

When I logged into my laptop on 9th November Firefox had closed. This happens sometimes, I'm often not sure why, but this time the previous session didn't automatically repopulate when I restarted. I navigated to the history options with the idea of retoring the previous session - either using that functionality or individually opening previous windows - but history was blank and the previous windows option was greyed out. Following suggestions online I've looked for .bak or .json or similar files to use as restore points but there's nothing since much earlier in the year up to 8th November, which are pretty much empty, and the 9th.

I'd be very grateful for any suggestions!

I do a lot of research, and may have 300 - 400 tabs open. 2. I needed to do a clean install of Win 11, so I saved my open tabs as bookmark, I checked and they were all there. I also saved the folder from AppData Roaming - Firefox\Firefox\Profiles\ivdajzll.default-release\sessionstore-backups. Only when I open a tab with about:sessionrestore, the below Restore Session button is grayed out.

I then exported my book marks as an HTML file. I installed FF, opened up bookmarks manager, and chose to import from html, pointed to my saved file and selected open, nothing happens. When I look at the side panel in bookmarks manager, my book marks have not been added.

2. I also tried the second option by opening Settings / General / Import Data and Select the Bookmarks from HTML file option. I point to my saved html file, it spins for a few seconds, says success and I click on the Done button, still my bookmarks have not been added.

My computer restarted on me (as always, this piece of garbage new laptop has to restart every other day for some stupid update or battery issue) and Firefox, despite still knowing my history and latest websites visited, does not have an option to open the many closed tabs.

I don't want to go back to Chrome, but there's basically only one thing I need from a browser and it's insurance against my devices turning off and leaving me without any of my tabs.

I have mozilla on my pc , i use it without an account And i have many bookmarks and links i don't want to lose If i signed up now can i backup my data and save it into my new account without losing it

I have Firefox browser and ATT internet and email. I was unable to load email today until I spoke with live ATT tech support. He instructed me in clearing cache and cookies, had me open a private window, then asked me to open another window. He did get my ATT email restored, but when I had 2 windows open I accidentally closed my main window which had many pinned tabs and other tabs I wished to get to. Yes, too many tabs! So I have a new browser which does not have the configuration I want which is the one I had when I first called ATT. So I made a mistake and closed the wrong browser, I knew it as it happened but it was too late, I guess speaking with and listening to the tech messed up my concentration. I have made this mistake before and closed the wrong browser but fumbling around somehow I managed to recover the browser I wanted, I don't remember how exactly. I think it has been a couple of years since I screwed up this way. The History section of my Firefox menu does not offer a selection called 'restore previous session' that the instruction page shows, the only options at the top are Recently closed tabs, Recently closed windows, Search history. Then a bar followed by Clear Recent history, then today's history in the new browser. So I only get history from today's new browser. I am old and not tech savvy there is a lot of terminology I do not understand, I need a kindergartner's step by step instruction on this I am afraid, in clear English. I am afraid to do things like refresh or reinstall without knowing what I am doing. I appreciate your help. I use desktop Firefox for email, reading items of interest, social media, ordering merch. Après avoir installé une nouvelle version de Firefox, j’ai perdu tous mes marque-pages. J’ai tenté de les restaurer à partir des sauvegardes automatiques, mais cela n’a pas fonctionné.

Pourriez-vous m’aider à les récupérer ? Ces marque-pages sont essentiels pour mon usage quotidien de Firefox sachant que je les ai depuis plusieurs années
