places.sqlite: this file records EVERY website I've ever visited in a db table! This despite opting out of History and flushing daily It's frustrating that FF surreptiously collects such personal info. Why record every site I visit, date-timestamps, frequency, etc.?

As test, I changed the name to places-sqlite.old to see if FF will create a new one It didn't make a new table; re-created the old one.

I need to update FF because of the expired certificates, but would like to clear these out first. Similarly, can I get rid of the icon database? My bookmarks are backed up as JSON and HTML files. I just wished they didn't contain extraneous info

I cannot change my email address to my new email address.

When I try to follow the primary email change procedure, after entering my new address, I receive a message: "that account already exists."

My new email address is: [edited] @gmail.com My old email address is [edited] @aol.com

I no longer have access to my old email address [edited] @aol.com which changed years ago.

I have never had any identity confusion with my current gmail address, [edited] @gmail.com

This situation may have happened from my previous attempts to update my primary email address. Could you send me a verification code to [edited] @gmail.com so that I can resolve this situation?

I use Edge relucantly and Firefox by default. i am struggleing to use firefox to access barclays bank which is telling me to update my browser because some checks/facilities are not enabled in my version (sorry not exact phrasing). Firefox tells me it is up to date. Win 11 64bit stable update from Win 10

None of my saved passwords in my Mozilla account are showing up when I switch laptops and try to logon to various sites. Instead I have to manually enter the passwords for the sites every time even though the sites show that I have saved passwords for that site in my Mozilla account. When I type the password in a old or new site, Mozilla doesn't even ask if I want to save the password anymore.

To all at Mozilla. 1.I have recently made a donation - as I always do when asked. And have done so for over 20 years. 2. I am now working on my backup site, which I keep on a separate hard drive. 3. I try to check my email and am asked for a donation - again. No way! 4. Now everything fails.My email password. My Firefox password. Fat lot of use saving passwords on Firefox. 5. I try to set up new passwords. I can't paste my new Firefox password into a file. 6. After one and a half hours of this I am not surprised that you need to ask people not to vent their feelings. &. firefox always re asks for my password on my new computer, never had this on my old computer. i typically only need to put in my password after not using the computer for awhile, then it never asks me again.

Support I am having problems accessing my accounts on certain web sites, I can access them with other browsers, just not Mozilla Firefox. The two main sites are: https://www.bigfishgames.com https://www.spectrum.net How do I solve this problem? Firefox has been my default Browser for two decades now, but if this problem continues it will not remain as the default. Michael

Somehow, my sign-in on Coinbase is now asking for me to insert a USB device into my computer as a passkey, and that is there because of Mozilla Firefox. I tried a couple weeks ago to sign in, after my phone was broken, and in the process this new way of requiring me to have some USB device came about, now I cannot log into my Coinbase account, cannot buy or sell, do anything because Mozilla is requiring me to use a non-existent USB drive with a digital passkey. I cannot call and talk to Coinbase, and I have no idea how to reach Mozilla to cancel this either.
