I visited about:support for the first time today, and I notice a list of Add-ons I was unaware of (i.e. I did not installed these), and I have questions.

Some of these made me think about the search shortcuts I see in Firefox's search setting:

amazondotcom@search.mozilla.org bing@search.mozilla.org ddg@search.mozilla.org ebay@search.mozilla.org google@search.mozilla.org wikipedia@search.mozilla.org

Are these preinstalled in the Firefox browser? What is their function? Are the search shortcuts and these add-ons associated?

Video in Firefox does not run .. no error messages .. nothing. It works fine in other browsers. When I click on the video .. nothing happens. It used to work but not now and I don't think I've changed anything.

Using Firefox for webmail, There used to be an option to spellcheck a "Composed" message before sending it. Probably after a recent "upgrade", that option seems to have disappeared. True? Can I get the facility back in some way?

On the iPhone and iPad it is possible to automatically open a desired URL when opening a new tab. But is it seriously not possible to do this on a Windows PC? It doesn't make sense to me, as browsers on PCs usually have more functions and mobile browsers have fewer functions.

I'm trying to add the Adobe Acrobat extension for some forms since I prefer it over the app, but it does not seem to be available in Firefox's extension add-ons. The instructions I found from Adobe themselves don't seem to account for the most recent version (unclear which version I have, I got it off the microsoft store) and there's a FAQ board saying the extension is only available for versions 73 and older. Is it simply not available for me or am I not looking hard enough? Thanks!

I have Multiple Google play cards and the Play store won't accept anything..I have sent Multiple documents..emails..receipts..basically everything they have asked, I have sent in..they have kept my main Google account in flag state for almost a year..when I have been giving them all bank..ids..etc that they ask for!! Nothing!! Going NOWHERE!! I have been at this for over 6 months almost weekly!! Please help!! My main account is [edited] @gmail.com. Hi, I would like to use my computer's built in print dialog instead of the one that pops up in FireFox. I know there is a button at the bottom of the dialog that allows me to choose my system print dialog, but when it comes up there is no way to view the number of pages like when I print from other apps.

I tried to use some online instructions using about:config, but it doesn't change anything. I would like to know how to turn off the FireFox dialog permanently. It only started happening in the last few FireFox updates.

I am running a 2010 Mac Pro in Mojavé and am using FireFox Version 115.11.0esr (64-bit). Please help. I need to see how many pages I'm about to print so I can decide which ones I want to actually print.

I have added many add-ons, some of them are visible in the screenshot. But i can't pin them to the toolbar. And therefore not able to use them. For some reason only three of them are visible when i click the plugin button in the toolbar and only one of them namely 'ublock origin' is pinned by default. I have tried many things but still not able to pin any plugin

There should be a feature where you can copy the link to particular text on a webpage (much like when you click on a Google result for a certain part of an article). Where do I suggest features for Firefox?

Hi! I don't like the automatically updated extensions -feature, it seems to have been turned on nowadays, it has been maybe a year or two when you had control to update them by hand! I don't like this feature and it seems to now be in every browser that I use, Firefox, Opera, Brave, Vivaldi! Is there a way to turn this function off? Maybe a commandline function or an editable thing in a configuration file! Other browser developers should also think about this! I think Firefox has been a good browser to use, I used to use Opera but changed to Firefox quite accidentally when having to install things again!

Firefox 115.11.0esr from openSuse doesn't display a status bar at the bottom of the window. How can I restore this feature to display the actual URL of a "link" under the cursor, as in Thunderbird?

So does anyone know of or can recommend a translator Addon that works like what is implemented in Chrome that can translate on-the-fly? If not exactly but can do close to what Chrome can do?

I found my old password Firefox recovery key after I already changed my password and got a new recovery key. Can I use my old recovery key to get back all the things (eg bookmarks) that may have gone missing with the switch to a new password?
