With the update to 115.10.0esr my bookmarks that were on the left hand side of the screen are gone. When I look at bookmarks there are a few, but I had multiple folders for different subjects, I do not find. I would like to have the procedure to return my bookmarks back to the left hand side of the screen with all of my bookmarks, bookmark folders, and other bookmarks like it was prior to the update. OS: W11Ent_x64 V: 22h2 (b: 22621.3447) FF: 124.0.2 x_64 I tried several "Group Tabs" add-ons, like: Simple Tab Groups. Tab Group. And I few I can't even recall the name from. Yet, none works. Not ONE.

Now, I use Edge as well, on my corporate system that I got from work. Personal PC I use FF on.

But, the Edge Tab Grouping, which allows tabs to be "put to Eco-Sleep", while hidden the open tabs by clicking the Group-Tab Icon, is a feature I sorely miss in Firefox.

Odd, as, so many requested this feature, how come it has not been implemented over the many years of people asking?

Either way: Does anyone know a good, WORKING add-on that does the "Edge Thing" with FF tabs, please? Since, I often got like 200 tabs open, which is a real misery without Tab Grouping and "Hiding".

When using picture in picture on Prime Video, my subtitles aren't showing up in the window, but instead on the original page, despite prime video being one of the original supported websites. Any ideas on how to fix?

Hey Gang -- Has anyone else experienced this?

Whenever I'm on NPR's website listening to a radio program, I can't access any other websites on separate tabs or windows. (they simply won't 'load' or even acknowledge any commands)

I find this to be very strange.

If anyone can help with this minor quandary I would be grateful.

PS - I am using a PC desktop computer, running Windows 10 and using the latest Firefox version 124.0.2

The full website link has /users/login, but when I checked the saved passwords, the link stops before the first /, its just websitename.com, instead of wesbsitename.com/users/login, and I suspect the full link not being save is whats causing it not to show up. Is there any way to brute force it to show up?

I realized since I upgraded my MacMini to 14.4.1 I can no longer 'post' into any of the yard sale/garage sale sites I am on, not even MarketPlace. All I get after a long wait is a 'technical problem' notice. Am I doing something wrong?

To open a link of a website in the background tab is CTRL+click, why is it that to open a bookmark of the bookmark toolbar in the background tab is CTRL+shift+click. It is confusing! A bookmark is a link! For comparison, both of them are CTRL + click in chromium. BTW, there is no explanation in advanced configuration preferences.

Hello Good People,

I installed Firefox a few days ago and it was looking good. I don't like that icon in the top-left hand so I right clicked it and removed it. All was good. However, today there is a blank black space in the corner as if the icon was back (but without an actual icon). It's only a small thing but it bugs me. I want the tabs to be shifted all the way over to the left like they have been up to today. It's triggering my OCD. Anyway, any advice appreciated.

Is it possible to import bookmarks for a different Mozilla account. Apparently I have 2 different Mozilla accounts. I had been using (I'll call it account #1) for quite a while, and recently subscribed to Mozilla VPN service. When I subscribed i gave it login info for "Account #2". How can I keep the logon info for the VPN, and get my bookmarks imported from the old (routinely used account #1) ? Or, can I change the VPN service to the old account (account #1)? I know how to add another device to the VPN account, but the "accounts" are on the same "device".

Sometimes all add-ons / extensions break randomly and are disabled (the icon of the extensions is also broken under "Manage Your Extensions").

The extensions are visible under "about:addons", but the slider is turned off and the icon in front of each extension is broken / empty.

It seems that deleting these 2 files- compatibility.ini and extensions.json inside the firefox profile folder, usually fixes the issue. Only these 2 files though, don't delete anything else.

No need to mess around with the ff profiles or anything else, just deleting those 2 files and restarting the firefox usually fixes the issue with the "unregistered" addons.

This thread is for the search function, as I found some VERY old and outdated suggestions for the aforementioned issue using the search function.

I wonder what causes the extensions to "unregister" randomly.
