Hi,

for some time now I can't use Grok(x.com) in Firefox(137.0.1 (64-Bit)) anymore. "Something went wrong" is always the answer.

Troubleshooting Mode doesn't help. Disabling any site restrictions, neither.

Any one else? Any ideas?

Sometimes, when I want to use the Take a Screenshot function (on my toolbar) to save a long section of a page, after selecting what I want and scrolling down to the Download button, the process positions the page's floating 'identification' bar across the the middle of the picture. Is there a way to set a keyboard shortcut to trigger the download command after making the selection, without the need to scroll down to see the button? This would greatly simplify the process. In some limited searching and testing, I haven't found anything that accomplishes this.

I have attached a screenshot of a page to serve as an example of how the bar is superimposed.

FWIW, this system is still running Windows 7, Firefox 115.22.0 esr.

I used to be able to make my own settings in Bing, but since the last update my settings are no longer stored. Each time I change them, when I open a new tab the BIng defaults are used. How do I get Firefox to accept my Bing preferences?

after many hours of Google search and trying many changes in the "about:config" section im done with things to try so my last chance is here.

The problem i have is that videos dont play if i mouseover the firefox window or tab i.E. on the windows taskbar. The video will only start to play if i click on the window/tab and that window/tab is the "active" one im looking at.

It worked fine before but some firefox update f***ed this up (and yes the official firefox updates are the only thing that changed), no i dont know which update it was because i didnt recognize the problem right away.

The autoplay option is set to allow media and audio.

The weird thing is that when i open a video in the vlc player and do the mouseover, everything works just fine. So my conclusion is that some setting was messed up on the new firefox version.

Some data of my pc, everything is updated: - Windows 11 Pro - CPU is AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D 3,4GHz - GPU is AMD Radeon RX 7900XT - RAM is 32GB DDR4 CL16 - Internet is wired connection with 250K speed - Firefox Version is 137.0.1

Hello there. I had to recently wipe my computer on 4/12/2025. I forgot to sync my bookmarks and passwords. Is there any way I can possibly get these back? I don't know how far back Mozilla itself keeps files, I've been told they do but I'm not sure how far back.

Recently I have noticed 'Your browser is being managed by your organization. - That being ImportEnterpriseRoots' appearing in settings. I have seen this mentioned by others but as of yet I cannot see if it has been sorted yet. I have uninstalled and it went away, but it has since returned the following day. I Do not have any other anti-virus on this laptop other than Windows Defender so it cannot be that. I will not be using Firefox as default until this is gone, or at the very least know that its safe.

New Tab is either the FF page or Blank? Just Like Goggle Chrome?? REALLY!!!???

If you plan to be "Chrome" by a different name, then why don't we all just move TO Chrome?

My settings have this right at the top, but I am the "organizer." I am the one that set things up on my oldest laptop. When I updated the laptop with a new one, I had that message, but it was okay at that point. But now - new laptop, and I want the control back. Please guide me in how to do that.

I can no longer log into twitch, it says my browser isn't supported.

Before you say anything: I have the latest version of Firefox, I have disabled all addons, cleared all cache and cookies, even tried a complete, clean re-install. I can log-in in other browsers, just not in Firefox. I have disabled enhanced tracking protection as well, didn't work.

Does anyone have an idea?

Firefox tanked everything I had open on my browser including job postings that I was applying to. I can't get them back. I'm so furious beyond belief! Everything I was researching - ALL GONE!!

Is there any person out there whether from the FF Staff, Developers, Community or End-Users who know how to resize the latest grotesque FF Interface of the latest download version 136.0.1? All my extensions have disappeared. The side bar is too wide. Both the Tools and Menu bars are grotesquely wide.

What is the point in Mozilla FF asking for Feedback End-Users, Community, to Contribute. if it is not going to take on board their views?

Please, do not leave this matter just to the public to deal with, You FF should deal with it for it is your product.

I use Firefox on a ASUS Vivobook running Windows 11. On April 1, it tried to update to version 137.0, but failed and led me into a update loop of sorts. I had to re-install Firefox just to force an update on it, and that worked for a bit. Just today, it decided to update... and led me into ANOTHER update loop, and it's saying that the "install failed" when I check the update history.

Is anybody else experiencing this bug, and is there a way to fix it?

I would appreciate whatever help or suggestions someone may provide to an irksome problem that only happens in my preferred browser, Firefox. I've attached an image below of a page from a local grocery store. Like most stores these days, it is possible to search within that store and its web site for specific items and prices, etc. It works in at least two other browsers I've tried but not in Firefox so a setting, I'm guessing, has been changed within Firefox in the last few months (because this problem did not occur before then).

As you see in the image, I've inserted an item to find its price; and nothing happens. Before, on Firefox, and now with other browsers, I would get a display of all relevant products, prices, quantities, sales and discounts, etc.

What Firefox setting do I need to change so this information will show up again?

While i was trying to search indeed for a job the site started having a glich loading . I'm not sure if that the best term but doesn't fully load. I have had this issue at least 6x in past five years on default firefox setting and if i changed a few to make more secure . When i use other browser that are not firefox based it is fine . It happens on librewolf as well

This button that looks like a jig saw bit will not budge.

Can I delete this in about:config by deleting the 'unified extention button' and can I delete the 'HKLM/SOFTWARE/Wow6432Node/Mozilla/Firefox/Extensions' in the registry?

Firefox these days is getting a burden with more info and such like being collected behind out backs, it's about to be ditched on all my computers, the last few episodes make me want out.

I have an issue that even in settings page, here, in Firefox - i have around 50 fps. I have 240hz monitor and 4070 gpu and 14900hx cpu. In Chrome - i have noticeable 240 fps. What should i do to have same 240 here, in Firefox?

I DO NOT use Google for anything, if I can help it. Every time I go to my credit union's website, the google bar showing View this page in (English, in my case) or turn off for detect language shows up. I have no idea where it came from, I haven't used Chrome in years.

I've attached a small screenshot. It's not a huge deal, but I don't like google showing up at my credit union, or anywhere else.

Any help would be appreciated.

This problem has returned after the clean installation of Firefox again and Firefox did more auto-updates. See attached files from the search bar "Information con(circle with the letter i inside) says I do not have a secure connection! I am not choosing to have an insecure connection. I rely on my ISP, Firefox, Windows Defender, and my VPN to make sure I have a connection that is safe!

Здравствуйте. Последнее время заметил следующую проблему. При открытии некоторых сайтов, где есть видео или транляции, колесиком мышки открываю нужные видео или трансляции в новых вкладках. Ситуация следующая. Если не спеша открыть несколько вкладок, например 5, после перейти к ним, то нужно нажать в центре видео/трансляции "плей", чтобы видео стало работать. НО, если открыть вкладки (так же 5 или более) и сразу же переключаться на них, то видео будет автоматически стартовать. Раньше так и было при добавлении нескольких вкладок с видео, а после переключения на них, видео сразу открывалось. Теперь - нет. В настройках ничего нигде не менял, проверял как на версии браузера для пк на 133..., так и на последней 137... Отключал все дополнения, в настройках сайтов давал разрешение для автовоспроизведения аудио и видео. Хочу отметить, что такая проблема на многих сайтах. На некоторых же всё работает как и раньше. Также отмечу, что переустанавливал браузер с полной очисткой. Железо у пк хорошее, озу 32 гб. Никогда проблем такого рода не было. Прошу помочь с решением проблемы.
