Social Security just stopped me from downloading my 2026 COLA on Firefox with an error 400 (bad request), but I was able to do it on Edge. More and more websites, particularly financial and government websites, work with Edge but not Firefox. And when I call their customer services, their first response is "try another browser!" Why do they hate Firefox?

If someone wants me to walk them through an example of the problem(s), I can do that when I pull statements or pay bills on those websites. The worst example is Synchrony Bank, which runs several credit cards I use. You may contact me by email at [email removed]@att.net (put FIREFOX PROBLEM in the title so I don't miss it).

I also have Mozilla VPN, and some things only work when I turn off the VPN, so that may be compounding the incompatibility. Although I am in Eugene (OR), the closest location for my VPN is Seattle.

Certain PDFs only allow page view when opened in Firefox. When opened with other PDF viewing software or browsers (Microsoft Edge, Adobe Acrobat, Google Chrome), these PDFs allow continuous scrolling. I don't have this issue for most PDFs.

I've tried fixing the problem by editing the PDF settings in Adobe Acrobat but to no avail. When combining a PDF that works fine with a PDF that doesn't allow continuous scrolling in Firefox, it seems to take on the settings of not allowing continuous scrolling.

I'm crazy when I DO it. How do I fix?

I like the idea of horizontal tabs, but the line between the topics and the website is TOO DARN SMALL!

How do I go into to make it larger?

I know it's simple, but HOW?

How do I set up Firefox to remember my login security approval for websites (for instance JPMorgan Chase Bank). Chase Bank used to remember, but now I have to verify my identity each time I log in to Chase Bank.

I recently updated my browser, and it has a new profile menu, but it doesn't recognize the old profiles I made before the update that were still accessible through the About:profiles shortcut. I can still freely use the old profiles just fine, just have to access them through the old menu. I'm wondering if there is a simple way to move the old profiles to the new menu so I don't get this issue?

For MONTHS now I have been UNABLE TO LOG INTO MY DAM BANK! Every time I try to log in I get BOOTED TO THE "SECURE SIGN UP" PAGE & i AM SICK TO DEATH OF SEEING THAT DAM PAGE! I've gone through my settings, I can find anything that would prevent me from logging in, Another problem is that I'm going BLIND I have a lot of trouble seeing the page or reading what's on it. Trying to fill in a check, an envelope or anything else that reqires me to write is almost impossible now. WHere can I find the responce to my qestions, I have been unable to find where it's HIDING.

my interenet provider server is in a differnt state to where i live and my mozilla firefox detects my location to where my server is located and NOT where I am physically located

For the last two to three weeks The Firefox updates have changed the way bookmark data is retained. Firefox will allow bookmarks to be added and retained on the tool bar for any sessions - until firefox is restarted and then the bookmarks no longer work.

Hi, I'm running Firefox 145 on a MacBook Air, with MacOS 12.7.6 (Monterey). When I try to add a bookmark to an existing folder on the Bookmarks Toolbar, it will not show up. It does show up if I go to the hamburger menu, and then Bookmarks/Recent Bookmarks, but not from the Toolbar. This is true for any folder on the Toolbar. I do not have this problem with Firefox 145 on Linux Mint Cinnamon. Is this a bug or a feature? Please advise, and thanks.
