Firefox bowser stopped working suddenly. Tried uninstall and install multiple times with multiple options.

Still not working even after cleaned all Firefox related files using uninstall tools and installed again.

In short, "Open previous windows and tabs" is no longer working. I'm using version 111.0 (64-bit).

I have done the following: 1. Troubleshooting mode 2. Removed or disabled all my extensions 3. Refresh Firefox - twice! 4. Disconnect sync across my two laptops

Still, nothing is fixing the issue. My previous windows and tabs are not being restored.

Help, please!

I have physical limitations and need to use middle mouse button to scroll.

However, in Firefox, middle mouse button to scroll is interrupted whenever the mouse hovers over a hyperlink or linked object -- and, fun fact, there are A LOT of links on the Internet, so this equates to a very janky and sub-optimum experience, in my personal use-case.

How can I make it so that the middle mouse button functionality is not hijacked by mouse-over context? I've already tried/disabled middle-mouse-button-click-to-open-link-in-new-tab.

I mainly bookmark pages by clicking and dragging the URL to my bookmarks sidebar as I've always found this to be more convenient. After the last two Firefox updates, this method no longer saves the page title, just the page URL.

In the attached image, the URL and resulting bookmark from dragging it to the sidebar are circled in red. The expected title is circled in orange. An example of an older (correctly titled) bookmark is circled in green. This is not a page specific issue, as it happens on every webpage.

CTRL+D as well as pressing the star icon in the navigation bar still work as expected, bookmarking pages with their correct titles.

One day, all my Push Notifications on websites like Youtube and such are suddenly going on my Windows 10's action center instead of just showing it on the web browser like it normally does.

Was this a update change or some setting I accidentally changed? (or changed on me) And How do I switch it back?

I tried to to disable it by going into about:config and changing: alerts.useSystemBackend.windows.notificationserver.enabled to false.

But it didn't work. It still pops in the Windows 10 Action Center, which I don't want.

Recenltly bought new laptop and installed a new version of firefox, but now I cannot get it to show my extensions.

The screen shot shows what (IMO) is supposed to to be, but all I get is the default buttons for firefox 2nd picture

This morning, after a reboot of my Laptop during the night, I opened Firefox with the frustrating surprise that I lost all my bookmarks and all my history (websites and downloads). The saved passwords looks fine.

How could that have happen? Need your help to get those back... specifically my bookmarks!

Note: I went trough several support articles of Firefox but none helped. I tried to restore my bookmarks but got the message "Unable to process the backup file.".

Hello, I'm having an issue with my overflow menu. When opening the customization screen for the toolbar, I can't seem to drag certain toolbar elements into it? The buttons on the customize screen itself work correctly, and some of the elements present on the toolbar will change between visible and overflow just fine, but others I am completely blocked from moving. Please assist, as this is seriously impacting workflow.

I just updated to the latest version of Firefox, and all of a sudden I have a new icon, Extensions, that looks like a puzzle piece, I cant seem to be able to remove it....at all.

seems like firefox is not understanding a font and instead its using - caption

so I cant read any of my shortcuts . see attachment . how do I change this

Everything that has an active state seems to have suddenly gained huge thick borders, usually grey or black. This applies to UI and page elements. I have no idea what happened, I'm guessing an update changed 'something', but how do I nondestructively fix it?

All webpages seem affected.

im getting unknown issuer on my thin-clients with a FF ESR 45.9.0. This FF is tied to the OS (Ubuntu 16.04) and the OS is the most recent compatible version for our version of the thin-clients. So yeah its super old and I'm not able to update any of this. There is no security.enterprise_roots.enabled option available. What would be the best way to solve this issue for ~400 clients. Trying to make sync work the way I want. Initial question:

I've synced tabs between Windows desktop and Android. Now I would like to bookmark all those tabs in the desktop browser, without opening them first. I've found out how to view them in the side bar, but I see no option to bookmark all tabs.

It would be nice to have synced Tabs in the Library window and Options panel.

How can Mozilla help? STOP INTENTIONALLY RUINING ALL USE OF FIREFOX, THEN LEAVE ME WITH NOTHING BUT A CHAT BOX AFTER MOZILLA RUINED THE BROWSER. On16/March/2023 Microsoft stated this PC was fully up to date, so please don't bother blaming the PC when it was the FORCED update that broke this browser.
