ive searched every article from here and beyond, but i cannot seem to find the button to edit my payment information. strange since it still prompts to autofill it

Whenever I shop online, when I start to input my credit card number at checkout, the last 4 digits of every credit card I've ever used comes up in Autofill. All I have to do is select one, then select its exp date, and it fills in the slots automatically. I find this very convenient, and I trust that it's secure as long as the site itself is. BUT by now, several of the cards that come up have either expired or are no longer in use. HOW DO I DELETE THEM FROM FIREFOX' AUTOFILL LIST? Please help--I've been unable to find the answer to this Q, though I've thoroughly searched. I'm losing patience. I don't want a lot of unused/expired cards on your Autofill. Thank you! When I sign in to the NY Times (for example) I get a dropdown of autofill email addresses. Some are even mistyped addresses or bogus addresses I've used to access webpages that'll take any email address. I cannot delete these. I've tried shift-delete. These email addresses cannot be accessed via Firefox preferences: autofill screens do not list email addresses but only the physical addresses that I've saved.

(And then, of course, the minute you submit any email to the NYTimes it immediately creates an "account" and starts sending you subscription offers.)

I have several saved cards in 152.0.1 (64-bit). When on a payment site the drop-down list shows up as expected, so the extensions.formautofill.creditCards.supportedCountries is correct and working (GB). Also address filling still works, as does saved passwords,

However if I try to "Manage payment methods" the resulting list in "about:preferences#managePayments" is blank. (see image)

I have tried toggling on and off "save & autofill" and restarting, but nothing helps.

Adding a new card works, and the new card appears in the drop-down list on a payment form, but still nothing appears to edit or remove in the settings. How an I edit this list?

PS: I have disabled ALL extensions.

Anybody else notice that when using the back arrow on some sites, it just won't stop back-arrowing? I mean, usually, when you have reached the very first site opened in the current tab, the back-arrow will grey-out and become non-functional. But some sites are allowed to embed an instruction which causes Firefox to just keep on back-arrowing indefinitely, without EVER greying-out the back-arrow; it just keeps on re-loading the same initial web page. The yelp.com website is a good example of this behavior. Firefox should prevent sites from embedding functional-override coding which causes the browser to behave abnormally like this. Another functional-override example are websites that, DESPITE having a global Firefox browser setting to NOT auto-fill fields, the site causes Firefox TO REMEMBER the data anyway, and then to re-display the data at the credentials step as a pull-down menu underneath the Username field and, more often, the 2FA field. Haven't seen any site yet override the no-auto-fill setting for the Password field, however...luckily.

I have Firefox 136.0.2 (up to date) on Win 11. I want to remove specific autofill items, NOT all autofill items. Web info says use Settings > Privacy & Security > Forms & Autofill BUT there is nothing for Forms and Autofill in my Firefox 136.0.2

Can anyone please help me find how to edit autofill in this version?

Several e-commerce sites have forms for payment card details, and some of them have a field for ‘Name on Card’. Some sites fill in this field with what they think is the name on the card and, in my experience, it is often wrong. If the user deletes the mistaken value autofill will insert the correct name where it was, but, if the aberrant entry is left in place, autofill will not change it, and the payment can be refused. Would it be an idea to have autofill insert the correct name even if the field already has a value? If the value written by the site is correct then nothing is changed, but if it is wrong a refusal could be forestalled.

Hi there! My payment methods are stored on Firefox and do come up once a box for credit card number appears on any site. However, I have only the option to add a new card but not to view or edit? Why? Please see attached screenshots. Please help - thank you.

So I've been looking for the saved payment methods in my browser since I got a new card.

I realized that it is gone and that has 2 consequences for me.

1. I Cannot for the life of me remove the currently old saved one.

And

2. I do not want to save the new actual one, since I seem to have no control of my saved cards and will not be able to remove it.

Also I made Firefox stop asking, but it does not get the memo and keeps asking to save my new card.

So the common thing is that the saved cards should be in "about:preferences#privacy" under "Autofill" and there should be a button that says "Saved payment methods".

There is media on this. pictures etc. youtube videos and it is a box that appears when you press it unlike about:logins which is a tab in itself, so accessing it this way seems to be no option.

Doing some digging and found this article https://support.mozilla.org/kn/questions/1443578 It does not work for me being in DK.

Downloaded a older version of firefox 142.0 to be specefik and it does have to feature / Button but, it also does not have any data.

So what gives Mozilla? Why did you remove the button and why is the data locked away?

Included are images of current version (146.0.1) having the button removed and 142 having the button.

Firefox autofilling my freaking CC number though those settings are disabled. I want to know what Firefox file my CC number is stored in.

Sometime ago I must have made a typo when entering my email address into a pop-up window in Firefox. Firefox continues to find and use this wrong address in pre-fills but I can't find anyway to correct it. I've worked through Settings/Privacy & Security with no luck. Can someone help please? (Windows 10 Firefox 145.02)

saved payment method still work and autofill when a payment page is up but managing all saved payments within settings is impossible as the list is not populated - please see screenshot link text

For months I've been trying to clear my saved form data as I put in the wrong email address, and when using saved form data sometimes don't notice it's wrong, so replies disappear into the ether.

Under Settings/Privacy & Security/Clear browsing data I have cleared Everything with all check boxes checked, and multiple times just tried the Saved form info checkbox. The wrong email refuses to die along with the related form data.

It is infuriating. Maybe you can correct it manually, or actually wipe it for me? The INCORRECT email is 'bongoots@yahoo.co.uk'. The CORRECT email is 'bongboots@yahoo.co.uk'.

When I am using the Firefox browser and am on a site that asks for my email, there is a Firefox dropdown with a list of email addresses. There are many email addresses on this drop down list and I cannot find where I can edit that list.

Nothing is the Autofill settings comes up. Where is that list of autofill email addresses?

When there is a field to fill in my credit card info, the info will appear and let me select the CC I want to use but when I move away from the field the CC info goes away.

The Address / Profile Autofill (full-form, 1-click filling) all of a sudden stopped working a few days ago. Only single-form works. I have to go to each box on a form individually and click on it to have the info fill in (Never had to do that before). And the "History" icon is showing to the left side of every info of mine that i click on to fill in (Never seen that before). Everything in the settings is still the same, nothing on my end has changed. It's set to automatically fill in my Name, Address, E-mail, Phone Number in 1-click, like it has THOUSANDS OF TIMES BEFORE. All my info is showing in settings, but not on any forms on any websites. The same websites i've been using all along, that filled in ALL my info with 1 click, all of a sudden went to single individual form last week. I asked AI what the problem could be. It gave me a few suggestions and fixes. Tried all of them, made no difference. All the settings it had me check were correct. HELP! (Thank you)
