How to get rid of the half-dozen old search sites from very top of each new page, directly under browser box. Those sites are places I no longer use, e.g., from my old job; from a Wiki search done ages ago. I have searched for help. I never see "three dots" when I hover my cursor above the offending items.

I was using Chrome. My daughter recommended Fire Fox for my MacBookPro. I did. Now I need to clean up this problem.

Been trying to retrieved misplaced bookmark folders not bookmarks themselves in the Bookmarks Library with no success even going down several sub-levels; Would be nice if there were a search function, but will take a step-by-step solution. Thanks!

I have a folder with many bookmarks in it, and when I want to open multiple links in the folder but not ALL of them, I have to keep opening the bookmarks folder after middle clicking each link 1 at a time. I can't open the entire folder - there are 100+ and say I want to open 10.

Is there a way to keep the bookmark folder open while I open each link in new tabs?

My bookmarks have suddenly disappeared. I've tried going to manage bookmarks/restore, but it only gives the option to choose a file. Is there any other way to get my bookmarks back?

After exporting bookmarks.html from Ffox on old computer, importing it to Ffox on the new one, all good, except that bookmarks toolbar shows on the imported list but doesn't display as toolbar.

Just as the summary says, Used to have an icon that I put under the "hamburger" menu on the bookmarks toolbar that opened the bookmarks menu. Can't remember how I got it there. Can someone help me get it back.

As of an hour ago suddenly all of the usual suggestions and autofill with bookmarks in my address bar are wrong and out of order. I didn't close out of or update Firefox, I was just browsing online. I didn't change anything in my settings or have opened that up in days at the minimum. I cannot figure out how to either revert back or tell Firefox to not show me these choices so I can get my old ones.

I'll give an example: When I typed in "ma" it would show me mangadex.com, which I often go to. Now when I do it not only is 5th on the list it shows up and fills in "https://www.manticgames.com/", which I don't have that specific page bookmarked. I have "https://www.manticgames.com/games/kings-of-war/" bookmarked, but not that homepage. But now all of a sudden it is showing me the homepage of that site when I begin to type in "ma".

This is incredibly irritating and I have no idea why it's doing this at me out of nowhere. I don't want about anything showing up besides my bookmarks and specifically only the pages I bookmarked.

How do I add an existing 2nd email account to the Firefox Bookmarks. It keeps reverting to the my family account when I try to add a link to open an existing second email address

This used to work fine. I don't want to mess with userChrome.css to get it to work. It should just work like it used to.

I've tried the "verify integrity" fix and got the results shown in the screenshot below. I've restarted my mac, I've shutdown and started my mac with a hard boot and the icons still show up like globes.

Although I saw now your warning to create recovery keys. I was unaware in past. Ha dto change laptop and browser didn't let me login by gmail. I created password and saved in firefox itself.Please help if possible to recover bookmarks in my account

I am using the version 115.20.0esr (64-bit) and have noticed I have links in my bookmarks, that are either from other bookmark folders but I never copied them over, or I have new links that I never clicked to be saved? I have deleted those I found but some more keep popping up?

I have created a number of folders for bookmarks and clicking on the folder used to produce a long list for each. Now, possibly since the latest update, the list is abbreviated and doesn't show bookmarks that, if I open in a tab and click "edit", are shown as being in the folder. The only forum article I have seen on the topic seems far too complicated for me to understand.

The bookmarks on my taskbar are all of a sudden not showing up. I'm unable to drag them there like I used to. Also, the history and menu button on the upper right don't work now. I've restarted with no luck.

While using an opened tab which I want to keep in place, I find it frustrating that if I want to click on one of my bookmarks in my toolbar, it uses the tab I am currently in which, of course disappears and is overridden with my selection of a bookmark. Is there a setting for me to change how my choosing of a bookmark reacts? I want it to open in a new tab and not on the one I am working with. I have looked everywhere and I cannot find a setting for this.
