I synced my firefox with my laptop before I wiped the drive and reloaded windows 10. I have reloaded firefox and signed it but it doesn't bring any of my bookmarks back in. Any suggestions how to restore?

Hi, I used to use Firefox on my Lenovo laptop, but now using an iPad instead. Although I cam login, it appears that all synced accounts and passwords are gone. Please advise how I may retrieve my password that I have saved.

Hi, I posted a question about my browser history being deleted recently, but I also remembered that had Firefox Sync on. I was wondering if there was some way to use Firefox Sync to grab my old browser history before it was corrupted? Thanks!

The title pretty much sums it up. I even tried drastic measures such as logging out then completely uninstalling Firefox and removing any leftover data on both platforms. After reinstalling and connecting to the Firefox account they will sync with previous data but any new data I add on Windows won't show up on Android and vice versa. I also obviously tried forcing a sync manually... I really wish I didn't have to switch to another password manager any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

I have activated Firefox Sync and "delete cookies on close" and I have noticed that the URLs I have set up exceptions for do not sync across my devices, thus having to re-enter them on every device.

Is this by design or can I do something about it?

I am a game developer. I work about 12 hours a day, in Chrome. It is my main browser. When I installed firefox, I was asked to "import" cookies and such. I did. Which has been a terrible headache. All of the bookmarks and everything from Chrome came with it, which I already had in firefox, since I've had it for years. But, I thought since this is a brand new computer that I needed to do that. Fast-forward a couple of weeks and now EVERY time I open up firefox, all 10 million history links are in history.

I use firefox to unwind and watch movies. I don't want 10 million links to work in front of where I left off in binge watching Seinfeld.

I've tried everything and followed instructions and STILL, all history from Chrome shows up in firefox. It is infuriating. AND uninstalling and reinstalling did nothing. The setting is already in the account to import from Chrome to firefox. I've removed addons and extensions as well. Nothing has worked.

Hi. I bought new pc, and i'm trying to set up mozilla with all my passwords and bookmarks, from old pc. But after i logged in, bookmarks and passwords dont appear in a browser. I had so much important stuff there that im now kinda scared. Thanks for any help in advance

I wanted to use sync to transfer my tabs from my previous MacBook to my new MacBook. I reset the previous MacBook and now when I login to the new one, sync does not show any of my previous tabs.

I recently had to factory reset my computer and had to download and sync my firefox account all over again. It's been a week and firefox is still syncing, none of my bookmarks, add-ons, history or top sites on the new tab are showing up. Thankfully, it appears that most of my passwords have been synced.

I've read some other threads for tips and can confirm that I don't have this account logged in to other devices and I don't have a vpn or proxy running. I am able to obtain the sync logs but I have no idea how to read it.

How can I make the bookmarks, add-ons, history and top sites sync faster?

I want to transfer my bookmarks from Firefox on my old Windows laptop to a new MacBook. I have followed the instruction and signed into Firefox on both devices and click 'synchronise now' on my Macbook.

Nothing has happened.

I would be grateful if you could tell me whether I am doing things incorrectly and if you could tell me how to have my numerous Firefox bookmarks from Windows appear on the new Macbook.

Hello, I was reinstalling my OS, and I didn't create recovery code for my data to retrieve it after (which I found out after reinstalling my OS) on my Mozilla Firefox account, I had a lot of passwords, bookmarks and data that I need to recover, also for my full time job a lot of valuable data which I have lost now. I couldn't find any email address so I can address my concern directly, It's why I am posting here. Please help, I am so lost now. Hi, I create an account to sync Bookmarks, Passwords, Add-ons, History etc from one computer to an other. I successfully created the account, verify mails, checkbox all features to sync in settings, and click on "sync' multiple times. But nothing is synced on my new computer. When using "send tab to device", the submenu previously showed all synced devices, in my case, more than 10 devices. Recently it only shows 4 devices and there is no way to access the other ones. Is this broken or is it a recent change? If so, can I revert the behavior with a preference?

Under "manage devices", I still see all of my synced devices, they just don't show up in the "send to device" submenu.

'I Save HTML documents containing Bulleted items (lists) from Firefox. When the saved documents are opened with Firefox, the bulletsb are missing, but when opened with MsEdge they are there. Clearly the Saved File has the Bullet markers embedded (even if not identical to the original), so why can't Firefox show them? The particular files that I Save locally are "LibreOffice Release Notes" '

I don't know why but sync button is not appearing in my Firefox settings (image attached). I guess it's because something I've done in settings that has cause this to disappear. Can you help me? Thanks!!

I can prove that I'm using the same e-mail address but with different domain thus making the last statement from [[an article here|https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/what-if-im-locked-out-two-step-authentication]] invalid.

Any idea how I can contact Mozilla to restore access or delete my account to recreate it again? Cannot find an e-mail address to create a ticket :( I don't want to use custom e-mail domain for Firefox account.

Hi everyone.

I am struggling to understand what the problem is, I have a form that has a few drop-down lists and textboxes, but each time I select an option in the drop down list the page refreshes and the textboxes I filled in during the loading disappears, and it only happens in Firefox.

Sync is a nightmare. It is so unintuitive! What exactly would be wrong with having separate Export and Import buttons for each of Settings, Addons, Tabs, History, Bookmarks, etc? I have a desktop box and a newer laptop I wanted to get up to date. I pressed the Sync button on the desktop ... By the way, there`s a link below that reads "Connect another device" ... Connect where? Someone is designing these interfaces who has absolutely zero imagination. Anyways, I signed off, moved the ethernet cable to my laptop, signed in, pressed Sync, and voila!, I got my Bookmarks, at least. But I have no idea how to get my tabs and windows. I tried with a "download link" something or other, but it seemed to assume I was sync-ing to a phone, and didn`t work. Any way to get my tabs?
