Some of my shortcuts were missing on Firefox when I started my laptop this morning. I tried restarting my computer but that didn't help. I really don't know what topic fits best. I am not at all tech savvy when it come to computers.

I restarted Firefox and noticed my toolbar book marks were missing. In further inspection, I noticed all my bookmarks over many years are missing. This is obviously a disaster. What happened? Is there way to recover this information?

I have to do a clean install of Windows, how do I save all my firefox bookmarks and passwords as well as Thunderbird addresses and any other info I might want to import back into Firefox and Thunderbird once I've installed windows again.

I was mistakenly logged out of my Firefox account which I used to sync all my data , on trying to log back i did not remember the password of the email I had used, so I clicked on forgot password and went through the process of setting only to find out that I have lost everything. Please what do I do

so, update to 138.0.4 (64-bit) resulted in deletion of both my bookmark library AND all the backups? fantastic. over a decade of important bookmarks - gone. thanks guys, you're awesome.

Today I needed to reboot my browser, and did so they same way i've done countless times before, but when I restarted it only 10 of the 11 windows I had open before closing it were in the "Recently closed windows" section of "History".Please tell me there's some way to recover that window.I had a lot of tabs open in that window that I need back.Why would Firefox just discard it like this?Like I said, i've done this so many times without an issue.

Recently since Firefox crashes all my saved passwords have disappeared. They were restored ONE day but then lost again. Please assist me in retrieving these. Thank you

For the second time, FF opened w/o restoring the previous session's tabs. The first time I was able to restore the tabs. This time I can't. And can't figure out how to fix it or why this is happening since I have the restore previous session box checked.

I shutdown my laptop. When it came back up, my fire fox pages were gone. I have the sync option on so I don't know why I lost all of my stuff, files, and documents.

Lately, mobile firefox has messed up everything. If i look at bookmarks, theyre mostly there, but arrangement is nonsense. Not alphabetical, not in any order. just thrown in randomly into bookmark folder it looks like. VERY HARD to find any bookmarks.

Bookmarking stuff on desktop, then going to phone and trying to sync bookmarks, having to log out and relog in to mozilla sync for about 10 times on both mobile and desktop, and at some point it randomly might sync bookmarks, but if it does, it also messes them up. and impossible to find anything in bookmarks.

Seems almost like someone took a bookmark files in hand and shuffles them a lot, and then placing back, to mix up their order totally.

WHY?

Ive been using mozilla for years and years now, but lately in past 2 years, mozilla, especially mobile version, is NON WORKING PIECE OF CRAP...

So fed up with this issue im too freaking tired to explain it better. SYNC DOES NOT WORK, AND WHEN IT DOES IT MESSES UP EVERY BOOKMARKS ORDER, PLACING OLDEST AS NEWEST AND SECOND OLDEST INTO MIDDLE PART, NEWEST INTO SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN, scrolling trough all 100 bookmarks to find the latest one you just added, makes no sense whatsoever.

I have a huge problem with Shortcuts not syncing in the main page. I have my shortcuts organized and pinned how I like it but every single time I sync new machine or mobile, the shortcuts are not being synced and they are completely out of place and sometimes gone on my main machine. This cannot be like that and should be properly synced.
