hi, I love supporting this independent browser - I know its not perfect but it does a great job of doing most things well.

However, and there is a big but. I can be in the middle of an investigation that requires sharing data to a new tab - on opening the tab I'm blocked from going further as Firefox needs to do an update! This is really infuriating. No update can be SO urgent that you stop me using the browser. This is the Microsoft mentality, and its wrong. Can you please investigate NOT forcing users to update their browser during session.

In FF on my PC I create a folder in the bookmarks toolbar for that day's research. I drag page URLs into there to bookmark sites/pages for follow up reading.

As extpected the shortcuts have the site's icons.

Open FF on my Macbook at home and since this verion, no favionns until I open the respective pages.

This is new. All other sync seems fine.

When backing up bookmarks to HTML - HTML Back-Up does not include the TOOLBAR Bookmarks. Please advise how to include the toolbar bookmarks in HTML format. Thank you.

I have removed many gb of apps to try and address this issue today but can't stop Firefox from using an insane amount of memory. What's up? I've been using Firefox for years and have never had this issue until today. I'd like to keep using your browser but I can't if my computer keeps shutting down.

i got an update message and restarted firefox. now all my saved bookmarks and passwords for accounts has disappearred. how do i get them back? under settings, it doesn't give me option to import from previous firefox

When a video is popped out, in PiP mode, and the "owning" page is scrolled such that the video "origin" scrolls off the viewport, the PiP video pauses. If the video is started again, and the page is scrolled more, it will re-pause.

This seems to be a Firefox behaviour and not a site-specific one.

Is there a setting to keep the video to continue playing?

This would be helpful on Twitter/X, for example, when scrolling the timeline with a PiP playing from a tweet.

Firefox doesn't respond after attempts to sign on to GMAIL or Amazon (both with passkey option). I have to force quit from Apple Mac main menu. I am using LastPass.

I'm having problems getting Firefox to work in Protonmail un able to send emails ...Copy& Paste......I think it is this New Version.............When I removed it from my applications & downloaded Google Chrome it all worked, that tells me the problem is with Fire Fox version I think

Firefox won't allow other websites to correct my spelling. This is a big deal and I will have to go back to safari if there isn't a fix. I am using a new computer and new firefox download. Can u help?
