The address bar is driving me crazy tbh. I want to search for something from it and it works most of the times but doesn't some other times, and I don't know why. I did try to refresh firefox after you click the helper software to uninstall it, but it still doesn't work all the times, and I also tried this (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1337970), yet it still doesn't. I might try to uninstall and install it again but is there anything else I can do if it still doesn't work?

I tried downloading Firefox again and I still can't open it. There must be something in my computer (Windows 11) that is stopping it from opening. It is the browser that I prefer. I have used it for many years and everything is on it. Please help.

I had to reset my pc as it wasn't performing properly . I am using windows 11. When the reset was finished a new windows version installed itself on my pc . I now have 2 windows 11 installations on my pc - an old windows 11 and a new windows 11 . My desktop and documents , etc , pulled through into the new windows 11 installation , but my Thunderbird did not . I never backed up my Thunderbird as I presumed that with the pc reset , it would automatically pull Thunderbird into the new windows after the reset. I then reinstalled Thunderbird onto the new windows , but it did not pull through my Thunderbird data from the old windows installation.

Please could you assist in helping me to retrieve all of my Thunderbird Data from the old windows installation into the new windows installation.

In trying to sync my bookmarks from my old PC to my new one (Win 11), every. single. time I log in to Firefox, and enter the emailed code I receive, to which I get an on-screen conformation that I've logged in AND an emailed confirmation that I've logged in, I am instantly logged back out- the little yellow triangle shows back up on my account icon. I have tried everything i can think of: I've made sure I'm not in private browsing mode, cookies are enabled, I've forced a log out of all devices, I've closed and re-opened Firefox, I've restated my computer, I've even uninstalled and re-installed Firefox in case there was some odd glitch....all for naught. Nothing I do helps. THEN to make matters worse I get the 15 min blockout to add to my frustration, because I've tried this too many times. All I want to do I sync my bookmakers to my new device....

There was a previous (years old) thread with similar complaints, but a different AppArmor log. The resolution seems to be to sidestep snap, but my impression is that Canonical has made that harder and harder.

the internet has many sites that say that firefox has an auto fill in form with password, but it is not included in settings. How do I get it? I am tired of typing in my email address on web pages.

Good day, Last update of Firefox "131.0.2", i faced an issue mentioned in the attached below, lines are overlayed over each other. I downgraded to Firefox "128.3.1esr" and the problem is resolved. I am using Firefox version 127.0.2 as my main browser on MacOS Sonoma 14.5. For the past few months, when using Firefox in Mac's full-screen mode, I've been experiencing an issue where one of the multiple open tabs unexpectedly displays in a separate window the moment I click on it.

This behavior didn't occur previously, and I believe it started happening about 3 months ago. It doesn't happen every time, but occurs a few times a day when I least expect it, making it difficult to identify the specific conditions that trigger it. I use a Magic Trackpad, and after switching to full-screen using the three-finger gesture, the moment I try to activate a specific tab, that tab alone displays as a separate window in full-screen mode.

Is it possible that a Firefox version update has changed this behavior? If this is a Firefox issue, is there a way to capture debug logs to have the developers investigate it?

Alternatively, if there's an option to prevent tabs from opening in new separate windows, that would be an effective workaround. Could you please let me know if such an option exists?

When i log on firefox this morning i got a message about updates. i pressed the wrong button and firefox started with a new profile. Luckily my bookmarks were still there but the add-ons/extensions, etc were missing. i thought profiles were backed up. if so, where are the and how do i use them? if not, how can i restore firefox to the way it was yesterday?

I have a issue for Firefox depiction. Procedure for reproducing is as follows: 1) Set Mozilla's dark theme. 2) Minimize the Firefox window. 3) Restore the Firefox window, white border line draw the window. <Maximize the Firefox window, next restore the window size, white border line is disappeared.> I tried trouble shooting mode, refresh the Firefox, reinstall the Firefox, but issue does not solve. Is there any way to solve this issue without maximize the window?

Getting repeated Firefox popups saying a virus has been detected attempts to connect me to McAfee security. My Windows Defender says there is no virus but the popups reappear when I've close them. I did a firefox refresh to no avail

"Manage Bookmarks" [I left the misspelling in the subject line because I'm trying to clue into the conversation when I asked this question before on June 17th] no longer functions smoothly if left open longer than a minute. I will add a bookmark to a folder the first time, but then will no appear to repeat the effort with adding another to the same or another folder. Re 'jscher2000's answer to my question, switching to another folder and back offers no relief from this but you are correct in that the issue is the page does not refresh to show added content after the first (or maybe second) time, if left idle a few moments. Closing out and reopening 'Mange Bookmarks' and navigating to the appropriate folder (or subfolder) then becomes necessary for it to display that in fact it had added the bookmark. Tiresome. Is there any way to increase the amount of memory allotted by my computer or Mozilla to this function, to regain the functionality I once took for granted?

Re 'cor-el' , where is the 'places database'? Re how many, hundreds? See 2 screen shots; alphabetical, partial list of single entry under 'e' 'Evironment'; maybe a thousand. I have not tried restarting firefox in troubleshoot mode (latley), but I think I already tried that some time ago and it did not help.
