I have everything set up for the private browser, how can I transfer all those settings to the coming update?
some commercial sites do not allow access to their site while using VPN so I must turn off the VPN. Site states Access Denied

1) if its there to enable you to play a tab in the background, then i want the option to switch the feature on or off (because i do not want to play anything in the background, atleast not via a 24/7 target practice with a mouse)
2) if its there to give you notice that there is a 'multimedia' tab open in your browser, then i want the icon to stay there and not dissapear plus change tab size...
like what is this even ? are we back in the 50s ?

After installing Mozilla on my mobile phone and syncing with my laptop all my bookmarks and history are GONE from my laptop. When attempting to restore them, following your suggested instructions, no dates appear when clicking the restore function. Deleted Mozilla from my mobile phone, still no good. Do I need to recreate all my bookmarks again?! How? When attempting to bookmark a new site it does NOT bookmark! No new history is showing either! Very disappointing, should I just return to windows again after years and years with Mozilla? Andrew S

I am of those who wrote petitions against Microsoft for undue negative manipulation of Mozilla Firefox. My petitions went to the European Union, Federal Trade Center, Independent Press Organization etc. The issue of my complaint about Mozilla Firefox is the non-functionality of Mozilla Firefox's Bookmark and History: The bookmark and History has had problem for a long-time. Most people who use Firefox admire the Bookmark and History. Once you open your computer window, on the left of the window, there is a list of your bookmark and you do not struggle to search for your favorite bookmark as in Microsoft Edge or Google It is there on your left. It is the gold standard of structuring a browser. No browser can compete with Mozilla Firefox in this respect. This is the reason Mozilla Firefox remains one of the best browsers ever. If it is Microsoft or any other group, they would have rushed to mend this defect. I know that Mozilla is made up of volunteers. Could any of the engineering volunteers see what I am saying?

Today Firefox has suddenly started using ~20% of my CPU capacity, causing my cooling fan to run high most of the time. Since I had been running Firefox v.149.latest, I tried updating to v.150.0, but that made no difference.
It's not Firefox by itself (only Task Manager open) but whenever I open another tab with almost any website (including this one) that CPU usage spikes. What gives?!
Details: Running under Windows 10 Pro (yes, I have installed the ESU package, good until thi8s fall) on a Lenovo P1 Gen 2. Currently running Firefox inside a Sandboxie Pro v1.17.4 sandbox.

I would like to use Firefox with a search that uses an AI bot, similar to how Brave uses Leo. Leo does not ask me to sign in every time, like Perplexity does when I select it as the Firefox search engine. Also, when I do a search, Perplexity always causes the Google sign in option, which I hate. So, I continue to use Brave/Leo, because I use the AI/Leo capability a lot, but would prefer Firefox and something.

In the task manager under Apps running I see Firefox(12) when only the home page is open. Are those 12 hidden tabs or 12 parallel applications?
